ARC-BOOK REVIEW

Snow And The Seven Huntsmen does what it says on the tin.
It's fun filthy reverse harem smut.
Heavy on the dub-con and I mean heavy it leans more towards Non-con if I'm being honest.
But with snow being a lot of a masochist, well it's not long before she's playing along.
Girls like the energiser bunny, it's tiring just trying to keep up with her.
That girl just keeps on going and going !!!!

 photo tumblr_oq0puqzsAT1ro8ysbo1_500_zpsoe7pyw7k.gif

So if you looking for high brow storylines this isn't the tale for you.
The title here says it all This is a very dark alternative to the tale of snow white.
But instead of Seven Dwarves, here we have seven kinky huntsmen who want in Snows pants.

 photo 22a2a6ce96bf7bc3247dbcba4f5d97b3_zps1vefhvo9.jpg

This isn't angsty it's basically snow getting down and jiggy with her boys.
Its written all from Snows POV.
I would have liked to maybe see inside some of the Huntsmen Heads as well, as they did come across as very domineering with little kindness and warmth from the majority of them.
Having that window, maybe I could have connected with them a bit more.
There's a loose backstory here about the evil queen coming after her, but that's all it is in the background.
I did enjoy "Snow And The Seven Huntsmen", this was basically a bit of kinky fun that hits that sweet spot.
It's a well written, raw, filthy, fantasy.
I was provided with an ARC of "Snow And The Seven Huntsmen " By the author of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

description~WRITING - PLOT - PACE~
I enjoyed this one. Although not as much as I thought I would. It was a bit...I dunno...harsher then I anticipated. Whatever you do don't go into this one thinking you are going to get unicorn farting rainbows. Be that as it may, it was still a very good read. The writing was fabulous. The pace was perfect. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. It was a fairly quick read that only took me a couple hours to finish. It's told all from Snow's POV. I kind of wish we would have gotten POV scenes from the huntsmen. Especially because they are just SO harsh in their treatment of Snow. It was hard to believe at times they had any real feelings for her. Last, it was all wrapped up in a sweet (if a little rushed) ending.

~HEROES~
I am not really sure what to say about these guys. Like I mentioned above I think it would have been helpful had we gotten some POV from at least a few of them. The book is fairly short and there are seven heroes so inevitably they all sort of felt a little underdeveloped to me. There was basically only one that I felt had any warmth to him. Most of them just came across majorly rapey and violent. That said, they did grow on me by the end.

~HEROINE~
SNOW. Geez...I don't know what to say about her either. This poor girl got worked over A LOT. I think if I had been her I probably would have shanked them all in their sleep. But girl had a hidden masochistic side. So it was ALL good on her end (eventually).

description

~SECONDARY CHARACTERS~
None. The entire book is just Snow and her seven Hunstmen.

~HEAT LEVEL~
Erhm...It's ONE woman and SEVEN men...'Nuff said. Most of the sex in this one was VERY rapey (dubious consent) <--- in my opinion, it was heavier on the "rape" end of the scale and was one of the reasons my rating wasn't higher. A lot of rough sex. Dirty sex <-- one scene NO just NO...*GAG* Spanking. Belting. Discipline. Oral sex. Anal sex. Choking. Strangely enough with all that sex we NEVER get a scene where all seven guys take her at once. The kinky reader in me was pretty disappointed by that.

~ANGST LEVEL~
Low. Let us be honest here this was basically just smut. Sex was the name of the game and the storyline with the Queen was pretty second thought. There is a bit of pushback from Snow but to say that was angst would be a stretch.

~IN THE END~
I enjoyed it. Did I totally love it? NO. The Hunstmen were just a bit TOO brutal with Snow most of the time. Maybe had I gotten a peek into their inner thoughts now and again it might have softened their behavior a bit. But we didn't. That said, no one is going to go into this one expecting an epic love story. It's dark smut and doesn't claim to be anything more. Therefore yours truly is going to give this one a solid thumbs up and I am very much looking forward to the next dirty fairytale from these authors.description

Snow and The Seven Huntsmen is a dark reverse harem romance by Zoe Blake and Alta Hensley.  It's my first book by both authors, but not my first reverse harem or dark romance by a long shot. Reverse harem and dark romance are two of my favorite sub-genres of romance, so when I saw the blurb for this book, I was beyond excited! It sounded like something I would absolutely love. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

Snow is taken from her home by seven huntsmen tasked with killing her by the queen. The huntsmen decide to keep Snow for themselves as a sexual play thing instead. Her life has been spared, but she is still very much a prisoner.

Snow tries to run away from them, but they catch her in a trap in the woods where she hangs upside down with her nightgown over her head. The first thing they do is stick their fingers in her holes while she screams and fights to get free. Pretty much every sex scene after that is rapey, too. It's dark romance, so I was prepared for that. However, the scenes weren't hot to me at all. I won't go into detail to spoil, but this one just totally missed the mark for me. When you couple that with a barely there plot, a ridiculously weak heroine, and virtually no romance, I just couldn't enjoy the book.

I'm giving it a 2, because I like the idea behind the story. I think it had great potential to be scorching hot and entertaining. The writing wasn't bad either. I just didn't enjoy the content. For that reason, I would still try something else by these authors in the future. Despite this one not being for me, I recommend you give Snow and the Seven Huntsmen a try if the blurb interests you, and judge for yourself.

"Once upon a time, I was a princess named Snow White…now, I am the captive prize of seven huntsmen."

In this adult retelling of Snow White there are no dwarfs to be seen, just seven horny huntsman to hold the princess captive for her own protection...

Having lived in isolation since her father’s death, her stepmother has finally commanded her death. But instead of death she would be granted "Humiliation, pain, fear."

Snow and The Seven Huntsmen would not be suitable for all readers. I imagine many people would be a little uncomfortable with all the wanton sex which is not all consensual. If you like your romances on a darker, filthier scale with multiple partners, then certainly give it a go.

“Please, it hurts.”

“This is a punishment. It’s supposed to hurt. I want it to hurt. I want you to feel every painful inch of my cock as I remind you who is in charge of you and your body.”

I knew that this was going to be a dark telling of the Snow White story but this is not what I had expected. I didn't like the huntsmen or Snow White at all and the story line copped out a lot, especially towards the end. I was pretty sure there were a few instances where Snow White could have gotten E. coli.

Well, that was a completely XXX-rated retelling of the fairytale! It was dirty and raunchy and now I can't look at Snow White as anything but a kinky princess. But it was fun and decadent, and I read it in one sitting because I was enjoying myself in this once-upon-a-time tale.

The story starts off running and literally never stops. Woken up knowing that there are men outside of her bedroom door, Snow tries to escape and falls right into the arms of her captors: seven woodsmen hired by her step-mother to kill her. But the woodsmen have other plans for their captive princess as they spirit her away to their cabin in the woods and keep her for themselves.

As each day passes, we get to know each woodsman. Each one is different from the next, their relationships with Snow as individual as each man, but as she gets to know them and learn her new role, she starts to realize that they have not captured her to keep her hidden away, but to truly set her free.

This story was as cute and dirty as they come. It was fast paced, kept me interested, and a fun treat.

I’ve read books by both authors so I was delighted to see that they were writing one together although you wouldn’t think that this was written by two authors.

Snow is taken by seven huntsmen. They take her home and set her housework to do. When she misbehaves each huntsman gets to punish her. The storyline is so much more than this but I don’t want to go spoiling it for you.

This is a well told naughty spin on the classic story Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I thought it was a great dirty, naughty quick read. I’ll certainly be reading more from these authors. As this is my first reverse harem story I’ll definitely be looking to read more of that genre.

This was a dark fairytale retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. If you are looking for a quick, dark, smutty read then look no further. This book is not realistic in any way so just get ready to read for fun.

Snow has spent the last few years living in solitude after she was banished by her stepmother after her father's death. One day she gets kidnapped by seven huntsmen. Seven rough, burly men who all happen to live together in the same house. Well you can imagine what happens next.

I tried really hard to rate this book on the quality of the writing and storyline and not my feelings towards non-consensual sex which is a running theme. I just could not enjoy that aspect of the book. However, Snow eventually seems to like it as she seems to have that fetish. Of course she gets to experience all seven men but for the love of me I can't remember any of them or their names. It was a lot of men to get to know in such a short book.

In the end, they all fall in love. Snow is happy not to be in solitude anymore. She has seven men that love and take care of her. Yes, they even cook for her and buy her clothes. There were some moments of sweetness in the the midst of the smut. If you love dark, smutty romance then give this one a try.

There are time when fairy tales retold are marketed as "erotica" and my hopes are brought up ... expecting delicious deviancy and depravity. Then when I read the story, it's just meh. I guess this is because my comparison is usually against the Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice. It is pretty difficult to top that one in my book. Fortunately, Ms Blake does a lovely job of achieving the dark erotica with this fairy tale retold.

Snow White's tale of how she became an outcast is nicely condensed with a bit of a modern twist. The focus is not so much on the Evil Queen but on Snow's time with the seven huntsmen. Snow only knows that her time to live is quickly running out, with her stepmother painting her as unstable. With no where to turn and locked away, Snow is stuck in limbo. This is until men burst into her prison, abduct her and then force her to be their sexual slave.

Full disclosure, I like dub con and non-con kink. Is this how real life BDSM should be? No, of course not. This is a dark erotic fantasy and it is delicious. Snow may be a bit of a prude and she does come off as a princess which is not a compliment. When the seven huntsman take her to task, it is a delight. The kink is brutal, rough and at times, punishing. I reveled in Snow's deflowering and sexual corruption. She is taken down several pegs and it is lovely to see her at the mercy of the men. From a kink perspective, this tale is a 4 star. I enjoyed every stroke, violation and scream for mercy.

What bothered me a bit in this story is the lack of communication between Snow and the men. She didn't understand or figure out their purpose. The clues were there. She came across as so ignorant. I wouldn't consider her too stupid to live or a vulnerable innocent. She just seemed clueless and lacked the understanding of reality. She is a princess who definitely needed to be rescued because there is no way she could have saved herself. The other part of the story which bothered me with the ending. It came swiftly and a bit too down pat. Still, this is an homage to a story which wasn't that lengthy to begin with, so I shouldn't quibble about the fast conclusion. I guess I just hoped for perhaps a more deviant and dark ending. Mayhaps the Queen sort of winning out as the Domme over them all. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the evil queen. This fairy tale re-told is recommended to erotic readers who enjoy a tale of sexual descent.

As others have fully summarized the story, no need for me to repeat it. I was enjoying it a lot, although I was missing having any "ordinary" interactions between Snow and the Huntsmen. I think it would have benefited tremendously had it been a bit longer and included more of the everyday activities. Instead, what we got was, the rest of us are leaving for the day, obey so-and-so. We did see the tender side of the Huntsmen at times, but the story would have been better with more of that given the dub con nature of the story. Also, perhaps someone taking the time to explain to Snow just why she was their captive would have been really nice.

In general, I enjoyed the sex, even if some choose to call it rape. It is a fantasy, after all, and for me, that changes some of the rules. I do, however, draw the line with her last encounter in the book, Odin. Without spoiling things too much, I will just say that it went far beyond my comfort level, in that one doesn't (even in a fantasy) mess around with fecal coliform (sp?) bacteria.

Overall, I think it was too short and could have stood with quite a bit more character development and plot.

Once upon a time, I was a princess named Snow White…now, I am the captive prize of seven huntsmen.
An ancient fairytale with not only a twist, but a rope twist, if you please. A kinky twisted story dipped in rich sauce of smut, served with a healthy helping of no holds barred sex. Ooooh-la-la!
Ever since Snow has been abducted from Her Evil Stepmother's prison, she's been held in captivity by the Seven Boorish Huntsmen.
Tore
Magni
Dagr
Odin
Jerrick
Steen
Freyr

They play with her body, taking turns and ravaging her completely into submission. She isn't allowed to escape, at the mercy of her Beasts, this Beauty learns to lie back and take her punishment of pain and ultimately the pleasure.
“Never question. Never disobey. Never for one second act out like you did before.”
There's an interesting scene involving the decor which gave me shivers actually

Involving one of the Huntsmen-Dagr. He's the most brutish beast of them all and he hungers to explore new places...**shudders**

A nasty (eughhh) Apple dessert (🤢 Alta seriously !!!) and a Queen on a Warpath later, the story gets a befitting end
Snowhite has certainly become a #Slut!!😃
Yes, I've certainly gotten my fairytale ending !
Obviously!!!!

This was dark and dirty kinky.

Nothing more, nothing less.

My reason for the lower rating is because of the lack of plot and character development- and even understanding .
There was not enough interaction outside the bedroom to get a real reading on the characters, and that’s important to me. No other “thoughts” from Snow. No action (well bedroom action, yes😂). Found it a bit repetitive (just with a different huntsman each time.)

It was also heavy on Dom/sub. Punishment and humiliation. This to me is not anything negative, but I need a story too. And I didn’t get that.
Plus Snow seemed a tiny bit annoying. I guess I missed a bit affection.
Snow didn’t seem to give them that.
Her body, yes, her surrender, yes, but not affection or tenderness.

Ok, I demand a lot😂
The sex was kinky though😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh, wow this book was good.
I enjoyed the story and loved the writing I could not tell that this book was written by two authors I have read a book by both authors before and I have to say this one is up there with them.
The huntsmen have been sent to break Snow-white Seven hunters sent to track her down and steal her innocence but what happens when she is the one that captures their hearts. Not really much, I can say without giving it all away but if you like a different Dirtier take on Snow white then this is the book for you.
If you like, a sexy hot read then this is the book for you. I cannot wait to read more of these.

Unless this has been substantially rewritten then it's the same book as this one here - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... - and really not worth spending money on.

Here's my review of the book

I have read, enjoyed and reviewed (on here) some very dark books but this one just didn't work for me. I don't mind dubious and non-consent but usually there is something about the antihero that draws me to them and allows me to look beyond their darkness. With the exception of ONE of the men that didn't happen in this book.

Indeed we don't see enough of the heroes to either get a feel for them or to know them. Other than when they bought her the clothes there was virtually no kindness shown to her. Yet suddenly we are meant to believe they have all fallen in love. I think trying to have 7 'heroes' in such a short book was just too much. It didn't allow the reader to develop a connection to the main characters and their relationship. Had the sex been less violent/ dubious consent this would at least have worked as erotica.

These boorish men with their forceful needs were also protective and almost kind in a primitive, dominant sort of way

Unfortunately I needed to be shown this in their actions, not told it via Snow's thoughts. And TBH very few of their actions reflected this. I did feel more of a connection between them in the last 20% or so but it was too little too late.

I also struggled with the time line and how long she had been at their cottage. At times it seemed to suggest a few weeks and yet she still hadn't had sex with a couple of the huntsmen. Which didn't really tie in with the fact that this was why they had taken her and certainly didn't explain why they were supposedly in love with her. I know this is a total flight-of-fancy piece of fiction, but the plot still needs to make sense.

And one scene near the end just made me want to vomit

On a positive the writing is technically very good, the story is easy to read and follow and I did finish the book.

I knew going in that this was a dark tale based on Snow White and I was expecting a brutal take and a twisted form of the classic story. That is definitely what the story delivered. We start with Snow being taken by seven huntsmen who all intend to make Snow theirs.

Snow does not take well to her new situation, but learns to seek comfort in it while learning what these beasts want from her. As I said, I knew what I was getting into, but there were times I wanted things to be worked out a bit more. I also figured this was going to be a short, erotic, treat and it was. It was super sexy and very quick. I did have to take some breaks to catch my breath but over-all I enjoyed it. There were times that I had wished the story was longer and had a bit more depth to it. I felt like there were situations that could have had a few more pages to them, especially the conflict portion of the story.

I am look forward to the others stories these two authors are putting together because I do love a dark and dirty tale.

This is NOT your typical fairytale. I have read some other authors who have dipped into the fairytale realm and it has been a hit and miss. But Zoe and Alta have gone to the extreme with Snow and her huntsmen. I mean you have to know that one woman and 7 men are bound to be kinky and hot. but this was dirty. :)

Each huntsman has its own kink and needs that Snow has to meet. She doesn't get a choice in the matter (almost to the point of rape) so if you have a trigger on that, you might want to watch it. The Huntsman use her stepmother as a way to keep her compliant. If you want to live you will do as I say kind of thing.
But eventually, the wicked step-mother does show up. Then what will happen to everyone's happy ever after?

This is a hot, steamy, reverse harem fairytale that I loved! I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.

Snow And The Seven Huntsmen does what it advertises -It's filthy fun reverse harem smut. This was a modern day dark fairytale retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. If you are looking for something quick, something smutty and definitely something dark in nature then you have come to the right book so don’t change the book dial. I will say it is Heavy on the dub-con to the point of leaning towards Non-con in the most delicious way.
If you like it filthy, dark, smutty, and quick, then this is definitely the read for you. Because these huntsmen all have something that I adored and I know Snow found something she liked—in the end {wink}. Each huntsman has its own kink/need that Snow has to meet. And oh how she met those needs. This is one hot, sexy, erotic, sultry reverse harem fairytale that I adored. The authors have such a beautiful way with their words which captured and enthralled me from start to finish. I really look forward to reading more of this series and more from authors Zoe Blake & Alta Hensley.

I concluded quite some time ago that I’m not a big fan of reverse harem, and yet I keep picking up such books. I’m not sure what it is, but the synopsis of such books always seem to grab me. I debate reading them for a while, knowing I probably shouldn’t, only to convince myself this may well be the book to change my view on the genre. Such is what happened with Snow and the Seven Huntsmen.

I’m a big lover of dark romance stories, fantasy, and retellings, so everything about this one screamed out to me. It whispered so many promises in my ear, convincing me it had enough of what I love to allow me to overcome the reverse harem element. For a while, when reading this one, I thought such was going to be the case, but in the end I felt towards this much the way I feel towards most reverse harem – I can understand the appeal but it did not tick the right boxes for me.

Zoe Blake and Alta Hensley work really well together on this one, creating a take on Snow White that will suck you in with ease. If you’re a fan of smutty reads, if you enjoy lots of erotic scenes, and you want to apply them to a classic tale, then these two authors have done it. Even though I’m not the biggest love of reverse harem, the authors had me intrigued by this one.

I’m sure fans of reverse harem will love this one, but in my case I fell into my usual trap of expecting to enjoy the genre more than I do.

Snow and The Seven Huntsmen
By: Alta Hensley and Zoe Blake
4 Antler Stars

If anyone could write a spin of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, it would be Alta and Zoe. This quick paced, action packed little story satisfies all desires.

Snow is a bit taken aback with what her ‘job’ will be at the house. But quickly learns that if she does as she is asked; her life will run very smoothly.

It’s when Snow behaves bad, that each of the Huntsmen will have their turn with her. Each Huntsman has his own field of expertise… Some that Snow will like, Some that Snow will remember well and some that Snow will never disobey again and have that happen!

I will admit, I will never look at an antler chandelier again without thinking of Snow and the Seven Huntsmen!!!

Dark fairy tale decadence..

This is a classic fairy tale told more in the spirit of the Brothers Grimm (who liked their own brand of dark and twisty) than Disney........Snow has had a dismal life in captivity and her situation, decidedly, takes a turn for the worse when she encounters the seven huntsmen...But, of course, this is’t just a fairy story it is also reverse harem.. so the odds are in favor of an eventual happy-ever-after for the princess who doesn’t have to choose...

This book has all the elements of the type of book I enjoy but, on this occasion, I did struggle with this story and not because of the dark and twisted content, or the requirement to suspend any long held views regarding kidnapping and dubious consent..because, in truth, I love all that stuff in my book world. Furthermore, I am more than capable of distinguishing between reality and fiction...However, I found this book challenging because it has so much lust and erotic content that in the end I was desperate to read more of a plot... Almost every chapter contains some kind of sexual interaction with the plot development focused at the start and end of the book and there is a large section in the middle where little happens except for more and more sexual punishments and encounters for the wayward heroine..

Additionally whilst I appreciate that this is a novella the character development of the seven huntsmen is sketchy they are all wild, dangerous men who like their sex rough and dirty and who, it would appear, have a slightly softer side when it comes to their princess but that is all I really learnt about them from start to finish...I would like to have got to know them a bit more and seen their feelings for Snow grow through the course of the story. I think the fact the narrative is told solely from Snow’s point of view may be a reason for this..it was impossible to understand the huntsmen’s thoughts and actions because I never heard their inner voices...

Despite my reservations this is an eloquently written short story..any book that contains the words ‘frenetic cadence’, and the such, has got to be worth reading, in my opinion..I just wish the authors had been able to find a more balanced approach between plot and character development and all the wicked smutty stuff....This novella was reviewed for Summer's Eve Reads...

Title: Snow and the Seven Huntsmen
Author: Zoe Blake & Alta Hensley
Series: Dark Fantasy
Genre: erotica
Heat: 2/5
Rating: 2/5

Although the concept was intriguing, the execution was lacking. This was too short a novella for any true development; I felt that emotions were forced down my throat rather than me having any freedom over my responses. Snow and her huntsmen (and the antagonist, too) were all one-dimensional, and the character development didn't develop so much as suddenly change. I was told how humiliated Snow was far too many times, and there was too much exposition. Everything felt forced and I found myself almost skim reading by the end of it, the sexual encounters treated like a checklist rather than anything organic.

It's a shame because I really wanted to enjoy this; alas, it didn't live up to my expectations.

3.7 I love when fairytales are retold and especially if they get dark and dirty. This story storyline we all know has the within this reverse harem tale but it seemed to just be filled with endless encounters with the Huntsmen. I wish there was a bit more depth. Overall I did enjoy the story and when these dominant men take charge they don’t hold back. I’m curious to the other fairytales these two authors have collaborated on.

ANGER—FEAR—PAIN—PASSION—I’D CONSUMED IT ALL LIKE A WOMAN STARVED.

This is one of these stories that you don’t know whether to be shocked or impressed by the depravity of the entire storyline. This is what you get when you get two talented authors, Alta Hensley and Zoe Blake that both can write dark erotic horror fantasy, and together their creative minds devise a demented dark, edgy spin on the tale of Snow White. Forget any dwarves, because no, instead, it is seven large, muscular, huntsmen instead.

“Once upon a time, I was a princess named Snow White—now, I am the captive prize of seven huntsmen.”

The Huntsman has been hired by the evil queen to kidnap and murder Snow, bringing her heart back to the queen. They will deliver the heart of a boar and take Snow to their cabin deep in the forest. While Snow may be alive, she will find herself in a new prison, because the beast has taken her to their lair.

Each of the seven huntsmen will have their own time with Snow, and she will be at their mercy and proclivities. While certain ones have claimed a particular virginity, her time with each man will not be an easy experience. In order of claiming, Tore, Magni, twins, Feyer and Steen, Dagr, Jerrick, and Odin.

“Listen to me well, broken bird. Never disobey any of the huntsmen, or you will get far worse than what I am doing here. You are to be submissive, obedient, and compliant in all the ways we ask. Some of my fellow huntsmen are not forgiving or tolerant men.” --Tore

“The reality was, I had been taken from one prison to another. I should have never for one second forgotten that the huntsmen are my captors and my life was fully in their hands. I was a prisoner, not a guest. I was here by force, not by choice. If I kept my eyes closed, it would make this all seem like a dream rather than reality. Reality made it all the more dirty and wrong, but a dream was safe.” --Snow

“No is not an option.” --Magni

“Never question. Never disobey. Never for one second act out like you did before.” –Feyer

“The devil had truly possessed my body, but no holy water would be able to purge me clean.” --Snow

Word has it that the queen knows Snow isn’t dead and she is coming for her, and the huntsmen too. She may have locked up Snow in the castle and convinced everyone that she had gone mad after the death of her father, but the huntsmen know the truth. How far will they go to protect the women who can tame their savage beast? Don’t come between the huntsmen and their captive prey.

The story is one of the reverse harem books that includes kidnap and capture, dubious consent, forced submission, exhibition, humiliation, sadomasochism, dark fantasy, that is raw and edgy. What this isn’t, is a sweet romance; it is filthy dominance, control, and powerful. In April, comes Red and the Wolves.

Spoilers!

“You need to behave, if you continue to disobey and act out, I promise you that this rope around your neck will be minor in comparison to what will happen in the future. Behave.”
Let me start by letting you know that I love dark reverse harem stories!!! I can handle non consensual sex, kidnapping, kink and Stockholm Syndrome. This dark spin on Snow White has left me feeling icky, turned off and upset. Snow is taken by seven huntsmen that were hired by her evil stepmother that stole her birthright. She’s taken to their cabin, where she is sexually assaulted by each of the huntsmen on different days. The fist to have her was named Tore. That name fit him because it’s exactly what he did to Snow’s untouched nether region. He set the tone for the rough handling she would repeatedly receive. He was the nicest of the bunch. After she lied about knowing how to cook and nearly burning down their cabin, Snow is punished by Magni, who forced her to perform oral sex, while under water, until she became lightheaded. Then he would drag her above water by her hair, to catch her breath before repeating the action several times. What he did to her next was absolutely ridiculous! Freyr was an absolute sadist. He had her tied to the ceiling with a rope around her neck! When she complained about the rope, he tightened his leather belt around it as he told her to remember that when she thinks he’s doing something awful to her, that it can always get worse. He then beat her with his belt and tag teamed her with his twin, Steen. Dagr punished her for not scrubbing the floors, by cruelly sodomizing her. It just got worse with each huntsman. I stopped reading and picked it up again because I wanted to know how far the authors went with tormenting Snow. Each experience made me feel bad. I felt icky whenever Snow’s thoughts were that she loved their treatment of her, even though it was horribly painful and felt as though she was treated like an animal. By the end, when the queen came, it amazed me that each of them, claimed to love Snow! I don’t think I will read anymore books by the authors of this book. This type of content isn’t for me.

OK... What to think of this? First I love the cover. The red and white make me think of a hot story. Then the tittle... I know that this will not be a fairytale like we have read in the past so it will be a hot book, I'm guessing.
The fact that this book will be written by two author's just reinforce that it will be an intense reading.
Alta Hensley I know very well, because I've read several books from her in the past and I loved every single one. Her writing is wild, hot, forbidden and intense as hell.
Zoe Blake I've only read one book and that was enough to make me an addict. Lol. Her writting is simple yet powerful, full of darkness and so much more...
Now these two together.... Dayum....
Let me just say that only these two could make me read a genre that I don't normally read. I needed to give it a try so here I was.
Snow And The Seven Huntsmen is their latest release and it's the first of a three series books. Let see if I love it.
This book, as the tittle suggests is about Snow and the huntsmen sent to track her down and kill her but thy didn't count that she could steal their hearts. Well I can't talk to much without spoil so you really should go for it.
Jesus f Christ.... What the hell happened?
I was thinking that this would be a hot book but Dayum... It was so much more.
The plot is great, super engaging, hot and wild. The hot scenes are to die for and you need to have an open mind.
The story progressed smoothly and quickly leaving me wanting more with each flip of a page.
Intense and dark with a touch of hotness.
Jesus ladies... What a book. Can't wait for the other books from this series...
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
