I thought this was a true story when I picked it up. then I found out it wasn't, although it was written by a flight nurse who worked on Stars and her experiences definitely guided her writing and made the technical details very real. She called it "semi- autobiographical". it was fun reading a story set so close to home! parts of the plot seemed to be over the top.

Loved learning how Calgary's STAR Ambulance started out. I great read told by one of the original RN's.
