Gotham City’s strongest alliance comes to an end when Gordon’s trust in Batman reaches its limit. On the verge of resignation, the commissioner attempts a final act of public service, but an unlikely intervention allows the Dark Knight to fight another day. Meanwhile, Jack’s mission takes a hit when his pills lose effect—and under cover of all this chaos, Neo Joker is positioned to take the city hostage.

WANTED: BATMAN
I’ve thought about this moment for decades. Wondered what I’d do if I ever got to see you like this. All broken and vulnerable… … …oh god… …what have I done…?
Commisioner James Gordon had it. The Batman is no longer a vigilante. Now the Dark Knight is considered a super-criminal and therefore, he should be arrested by any means necessary…
…and Nightwing may get just the thing needed to get the job done!
It’s the greatest moment for Jack Napier, but…
…even now, The Batman must be respected, must be protected…
…since Jack has no quarrel with anyone under the hood…
…even arrested and confined to Arkham Asylum…
…The Batman’s true identity must be remained concealed…
…since Jack’s nemesis isn’t the whoever mortal under the cloak…
…Jack’s enemy is something too big…
…Jack’s opponent is The Batman.
However, Gotham City would be hardly any safer even if the Dark Knight falls…
…since Marian Crews (formerly Harley Quinn wannabe) have very COLD plans for Gotham…
…and those plans were hidden in the very Wayne Manor since WWII!!!
Batgirl and Dr. Harleen Quinzel, both want to safe any sanity remained in the minds of The Batman and Jack Napier, but…
I've read a number of Batman comics that seem so promising and just disappoint. This one stays on track and just keeps impressing me. The action is good, the story is good, the artwork is superb. I love everything about it. There are 2 more issues left and I really hope the story continues into a second series. I think I'll have withdrawals if it doesn't.
Sean Murphy finally lets all hell break loose in this issue. Gone are the preachy tone and moral commentaries and welcome good old cgase scenes and fistfights. The art is spectacular. Sean Murphy is born to draw dark and gritty action.
Unfortunately, this issue has some story-jumpimg issues that it felt like there are missing pages which were deliberately removed in the comics right before it was delivered to the printing press. But still overall, this issue's good.
I don’t know how I feel about the Joker coming back and I wish the Wayne’s has actually been Nazis in this continuity, just because that would have been an interesting twist, but I’m still loving what this series is doing with the Batman mythos.
"Le dije que los Wayne siempre han sido una familia de luchadores. Quienes han estado siempre dispuestos a arriesgarlo todo por aquello que consideran importante"
The art is soooo good. It boggles my mind the details in the scenes and how consistent that quality is. It may be because we're midways-near the CLIMAX-climax, but I'm a bit tired of chase scenes. Having to wait a month for another car chase (as cool is this one is staged) made me feel like I was reading something very similar last month. In a completed version, this may not be a problem.
I am glad the Wayne's are redeemed and the truth is coming out. I like Harley's conversation with Napier about facing Neo-Joker and also how we've seen some planning (both for the GCPD to take on Batman, as well as the team debating how to handle an isolated Gotham, which occurs often and didn't come across as cliche here).
Lastly, ads much? I might be getting spoiled by Image Comics, but every other page doesn't deserve an ad.

This issue gave me serious flashbacks to the BTAS episode "Over the edge" but in a good way. Plus I love that Babs basically does all the plot moving this issue after having been in the background for most of the earlier ones.
Batman is arrested. Mr. Freeze knows the identities of Batman and Batgirl. Thomas was like a father to Victor and Nora and The Joker is coming back in Jack. This series is truly bananas.
