Healing Danger (Fortis Security Book 1)
Loved it! I truly enjoyed reading it, did not want to set it down for a moment. It was a twister, the storyline always continued adding new things to it, adding new characters. The storyline itself kept growing and expanding it never got boring. When you thought you knew what was going to happen, she changed things up. Dane & Lauren were very cute together. It was not an overnight romance and they made mistakes along the way. I loved the character she gave Lauren. Like most women, we have moments of weakness and then we learn from it and become stronger for it. We fight back or fight our way through. I can't wait to see where the rest of the stories develop for the boys at Fortis or the comedy that comes with it.

Maddie love, your characters have so much depth with so much going on, the Spanish novellas have got nothing on you. Your readers never know what is going to happen next, which is a great thing.
I truly loved all of your people. You were able to keep the storyline going while giving the readers updates on other character's and adding new ones. It was like keeping track of a community. I think you did a great job. I really liked that Nate and Skye took their time to get to know each other and that their story actually started in the previous book. I loved, absolutely loved Liam and the wording you choose to use. I hope to see more of Liam and Kanan in future books. Can't wait!!!!!

When one of his agents turns on them and targets Ava, there's nothing he won't do to protect her and her son. He can no longer hide and pretend that all he feels is lust when his protective instincts are this all-consuming must protect at all costs. He is responsible for the lives of many but none more important then Ava. He finally understands the pain and suffering his fellow team members who have lost loved ones because of the Divine Watchers. He saw it in their faces every day but now he feels it and his soul.
Ava has no doubt that Zack will keep her safe but she knows that in order to protect herself and her son she's going to have to tell Zack the truth about the secret she's been hiding for the past couple of years. She knows that she's never going to love anyone the way that she loves him, she's just praying that he forgives her and understands so that they can find a way to get along and do the right thing going forward.
I highly recommend reading the series in order that way you don't miss anything. There's always a twist and turn. Her characters are like a close-knit family you want to catch up with at Sunday dinners. They are funny, caring, and full of spunk. Each book just gets better and better and leaves you wanting more. What an ending she gave us, can't wait to see what happens next.

This is the first time I have read this author, I responded to a request to review for her new book but in doing so needed to read the first two in the series. I must say I was pleasantly surprised to find I really enjoyed this book, it has a lot of the components I love in a good story. Excitement, suspense and intrigue. Secret groups and security teams that include very hot guys to get you swooning. The female characters are strong and fairly independent but sometimes need a bit of help. There is an underlying bit of paranormal as well so along with a bit of romance it has something of everything. A thrilling ride through non-stop fast paced chapters, I really enjoyed it and fell in love with all the main characters or at least the good ones.
The plot thickens, gets more intense and the threats are higher in this second part story. Often upsetting due to the subject matter and because a lot of the focus is on this sick child. Nate is caring, loving and supportive of Skye and of Noah. The team at Fortis is growing fast the bonds they share extremely strong, there are still some underlying secrets amongst them though. I feel a horror and disgust at the whole Divine Watchers group and how they feel they have the right to take people to suit what they feel is the way to right the world. Felicity is manipulative and a bitch, Hugo weak and mean for the most part. This series the books are completely intertwined and follow on from each other so you do need to read all and in order or you miss not only the main plot but all the nuances of the characters and Fortis Security. I am completely hooked and I need to carry on reading, I want the answers and for the couples to find their happy. I also want to bad guys to get the ending they deserve. Suspenseful, intense and thrilling read. There is love and some romance, even a few laughs occasionally. Noah is a darling, such a cute little boy its easy to fall in love with him. Nate and Skye are well suited to each other. I liked that we also get more of Dane and Lauren as well as more beginning's with some other members of the group. Well written story with a long term plot line with lots of depth and a few twists and turns along the way, this has been very well thought out and paced along the series so we move forward with a few clues in each book. It certainly gets you hooked.
Oh boy! these two have been in love with each other for years and just when you think they will actually get together so the plot conspires against them. With people interfering by snatching and using Sly and his team for their own ends, messing with his abilities with unknown medication as we left the last book the Fortis Team get him back. Lucy Is one of the strongest members of the team her only weakness is those she loves, but she has secrets she has kept from them and only a few know what it is. As this third part of this series progresses we get a few more answers and more twists and turns, we also find out what happened to another member of Sly's team. News on another family member is a shock and a blessing, but the threats keep coming. Intense, suspenseful and exciting. This series just keeps getting better and even more thrilling, it keeps you on edge not knowing what next will spring out to surprise you. I hate the fact I have finished this book and the next part isn't written yet, it means I will have to wait impatiently for Maddie to write it. Not sure that I can though I really want it now.

This author writes a suspenseful story and series that has me hooked and wanting more, I read the first 3 books quite a while ago but recently got reminded of them and bought this book to don't be it. They remind me a bit of Elaine Levine's Red Team series which I also loved, the group so intent on taking over the world for their own devices and everlasting life, content to mess, ruin and kill to gain what they want no cares to how those lives are affected or the families torn apart for nothing more than greed. I am so glad I was reminded of these and fortunately there are a few more written so I can really get into them again. Amazing and enthralling series and book, the characters, at least the good ones are easy to love and get to know, the plot continues through each book and moves us on just enough to keep you engrossed but doesn't stall so much for you to get bored or lose interest. Absolutely loving it.

The Fortis Security series continues to be one of my favorite romantic suspense series. The books go from strength to strength and the characters all find a way into my heart. I fall deeper and deeper in love with them with every books I read. Ms Wade does a fantastic job of creating a bond between the characters and pulling the reader in so they feel like a part of it all. I highly recommend this series. You need to read it and experience it all for yourself. Yes, the first few books could do with another round of editing, but I can read past that and enjoy the story itself. Even after reading the first book, I could see the potential of the series and Ms Wade as a writer.

I read the first book, and I was hooked. Maddie Wade wrote an awesome series. The characters are very lovable, and the plots are page turners. The men are hot protective alpha, and the women kick butt. The Love stories are sexy, and the plots are total page turners. In book one you meet Dane, Lauren, and the Fortis team. The book is sexy, suspenseful, and fabulous. Dane is a yummy alpha protector. In book 2, Nate falls for Skye and her son Noah. The Divine Watcher story is really getting going. Book 3 brings you Lucy and Jace. Their second chance story is beautiful. It is a long, hard road, but live will overcome. The plot gets deeper, and the stories just keep on getting better. Book 4 is Zack and Ava. Zack runs Fortis. He hasn’t seen Ava fora long time, and Ava has a secret. Will they be able to work things out before the danger strikes? Warning: once you start reading you won’t be able to stop!!

A great collection!

This was a terrific collection of stories that I have really enjoyed. It has great characters, humor, drama, angst, mystery, suspense, and intriguing twists. It's certainly not a series that you'll want to miss. There were some editing errors, but nothing too major. It did take some time to get used to some of the language, as well as understand it's meaning, but that was to be expected since this sheltered American has never been exposed to the ways of the UK/British. Lol!
Overall it was a fantastic series, and I can't wait to read Volume #2!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

Maddie Wade's Fortis Security stories are a good way to decompress from worldly troubles and immerse yourself into a reality where men and woman fight for what they believe in, deal with the emotional fallout of loss and love, and allow themselves to form bonds of friendship and cement family ties. While there's always a twist and turn (or two), the adventure and the drama captures the imagination. Each story in the series adds to the sense of family and the fight to maintain honour in a world that seems to lack it.

Oh boy I am late to the party ! How did I miss this series I have laughed I have cried, felt intense anger and sorrow down right anxiety all while mixed with breathlessness! I can’t decide who I love more and which couple I envy the most. The stories are so good the action is off the charts and the fact that each story flows to the next makes for a can’t put down book. I can’t wait to read books 5-7.5 . If you haven’t read this series I suggest you do it now!

This book has it all. Hot men, sexy, sassy ladies. Murder, intrigue, a deadly insane cult & not one but 3 groups of deadly but sexy heroes who will stop at nothing to save each other & the world. The friendships & relationships amongst this group of elite special forces, their families & friends is so likeable. The sick twisted plans of the Divine Watchers is scary & neither side will stop until they get what they want.

This author is new to me but no longer!! Wow this series is amazing and each book draws you in further. I loved all the Alpha’s and the strong women. Each couple has such amazing stories and they are all intertwined to make for a hell of a group. Can’t wait to see what happens with Zin, Celeste and her beloved dog.

These books were amazing, I loved all the characters, they were real and gritty and showed emotions.
There were also some parts that made me laugh out loud, and cry my eyes out.
Cant wait to read the rest.

Good story line
Good story line. Very likable characters. Too many exclamation points and needs more editing, but nothing that pulls you out of the story.

I absolutely loved this series! It'll make you love these characters. Action packed it'll keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend this series! You won't be disappointed!

Be warned Book 4 is missing from this box set - the one I most wanted to read!! Security series with a paranormal bent - the men and women of Fortis are all around bad A$$es who find love whilst saving the world from the Divine Watchers. I also wouldn't mind seeing the Zenobi get a spin off series.

Wow, I'm addicted to the series now, as I knew I would be. I started my trip with Maddie with Eidolon Ops, so I had met many of the characters and wanted their background. I could not hardly put this box set down once I started. I like how her underlying story of the fight against the evil guys weaves underneath the stories, becoming more prominent with each book, and brings to light surprising connections between the Fortis folks, who were already "family." You also get the setup for the upcoming books as you learn tid bits about the supporting characters, making It so I want to rush through the rest of the series right now. It has action and suspense, twists and turns, and a intertwining story line, which are everything I look for.

This is the first Four books in The Fortis Security series . This is one of my favorite series . All of these stories are fantastic , well written and action packed throw in alittle paranormal it's a complete package . The characters are all unique and wonderful . I highly recommend reading this series .
