This was an insightful and kind of educational with regards to how spies and resistance workers operated and the dangers/realities they faced as they worked bravely to fight the Nazis....It grieved my heart as usual with the subject as one would find sad knowing how so many millions were either killed or affected directly or indirectly with no one ever being the same. I can only imagine the grief and bitterness that occurred with those once considered friends even within a country towards those traitors and collaberaters. This was set in France during WW2 and based upon some real characters and incidents....Seems as if I had read it years ago, before being here on Goodreads, so I decided to read again anyway.
