After reading Midnight Melodies again and liking that very much I thought I’d also read When Love finds a Home again. I liked the story line which is a bit different from most romances and I felt for the homeless women and the kids. Despite the difficult topic of homelessness this book doesn’t have a heavy and somber feel, maybe because the problem is solved fairly easily because Anna is a very special woman. I liked Tammy and Anna a lot. Rona was a bit more difficult to like but she grew on me.
I remember receiving an e-mail from a Goodreads friend some time ago enquiring about the titles of two books. The mail gave the description of story of this book I think. I don’t remember who sent the enquiry, and maybe she already found the title, if not, maybe this review reaches you l.

wonderful story filled with ups and downs, love and hate, and despair. This is the kind of book you want to keep reading but you have to put down every so often just to let it all soak in. You are rooting for all the characters and you feel and sense their every move as if it were your own life in the balance...

Rona just wants to find a warm place to spend the night when she is faced with a decision to help or ignore someone in peril. Tonight is different for many reasons, first she isn't alone, she has another woman with her and her two young twin daughters. Second it is going to be very cold and it isn't safe on the streets and third the routine of the cleaners and the security guard aren't on time. Not wanting to miss her chance to sneak into her hiding place she wants to ignore the woman coming out of the building and her impending doom at the hands of two of the meaner homeless men out there. Tammy finally convinces her to help and the two of them save the woman but then find themselves having to help even more. The woman hit her head and is in no shape to drive so the two women take her to the hospital to get checked out. After a very stressful time, they drive the woman, Anna, home and Anna offers them a place to stay for the night to repay them for saving her. Things are looking up but Rona knows just how fast things can go from good to bad and is wary of risking not only her heart but her life as well...

Sweet story. A story of hope, faith and love. I look forward to re-reading this book in a year or so.
