How can I know my husband is safe in heaven? Will I be reunited with my son on the other side? My father and I parted on such harsh terms, and he died before we could make amends. Does he know how much I love him? Countless people have asked these sorts of questions and many of them have had their questions miraculously answered. In Comfort from Beyond you will read deeply moving stories of those who have experienced joyous encouragement from loved ones who have passed on. These stories are powerful, mysterious and true. Our faith tells us that ultimately we will be reunited with those we love, but it never hurts to have a little reassurance. Comfort from Beyond provides just that.

“You are my hope, O Lord God. Psalm 71:5
This was a beautiful, touching, inspirational collection of stories with Bible verses. They were true accounts written by many people that showed God’s power to comfort and strengthen those who’ve lost loved ones. These scenarios made me cry, filled me with wonder and solidified my faith in my Creator.
One of the chapters was titled “Be Happy”. Kay was a singer who lost her faculties to sing and talk. She suffered from progressive Supranuclear palsy, a disease that affects the brain. Somehow, with hand signals and head nods Kay communicated that a lady came to her in the late evening. Her husband wanted to know what was said. By an unknown miracle Kay spoke out loud (the first time in many months) “Be happy. He takes care of me.” Her husband who hadn’t believed in God saw the truth in those words. Kay passed away but he realized God still makes miracles. He is with us today, tomorrow and forever.
“Comfort from Beyond” is a must for the bereaved and for all.

This book has individual short stories and accounts of how people have received "comfort from beyond". Because they were individual stories I read it at my leisure. Left it on a certain table and when I was resting or needed encouragement I would pick this book up and read one of the stories. I was never disappointed. This book has so many encouraging stories that have helped me on my grief journey as a bereaved parent. I would highly recommend it to anyone especially anyone who has lost a loved one.

This book presents a range of emotions. All of the incidents involve someone dying, from illness, from an accident, form natural causes. Those left behind struggle with shockm sadness, loneliness, grief, and how to continue life, etc. Each one receives encouragement ina variety of ways, such as the appearance of butterflies or particular flowers, messages in dreams from loved ones, a voice bringing comfort or a next step, or visions of angels. I found myself grieving with the people and rejoicing the comfort they received.
