~WRITING - PLOT - PACE~
Stella Stone is a new author to me although that is apparently a pen name for an already established romance author. I'd love to know who because this book was ALL sorts of awesome.  It was pretty much over the top insta-lust on steroids. The writing was very good. It is a pretty short book and because of that things move along at hyper speed. It is told in dual POVs. The plot was engaging and over the top ridiculous at times <--- but not in a bad way. It was smokin' hot in the sex department. Last, it was all wrapped up in two very sweet epilogues (two years later and three years later).


~HERO~
HEATH...Heath was pretty much my spirit animal. He hates people. He never leaves his house. He'd prefer to live in the middle of nowhere and never converse with anyone but his family <--- I feel ya, Heath. Anyway...I LOVED Heath. He was SO over the top with the MINE MINE MINE. It was awesome. He was nerdy. He was sweet. He was alpha. He was sexy as f-ck. He was ALL about Kinsley from the second he lay eyes on her. He didn't appear to be a manwhore, but he did admit to paying for escorts to come to his house. The classy kind though (lol). 


~HEROINE~
KINSLEY...Hate the name, sorry. It sounds like a guys name to me. Anyway...not important. I really liked Kinsley a lot as well. She was sweet. Maybe a little naïve. I mean if some guy I never even said "HI" to once, jumped over my fence, dropped trou, proceeded to start masturbating, told me to get on my knees, and then came all over me. I think I might have had a couple moments of debate about whether I should call the cops or not (lol). But you know, I am not going to insert logic into this book. My recommendation is to just go with it. Also, and hallelujah, the heroine wasn't a virgin.

~SECONDARY CHARACTERS~ 
There really are not a lot of secondary characters in this one. A couple baddies. The hero's parents and we get a glimpse of the hero of the next book HOT COP that releases in June <--- I CANNOT wait.


~HEAT LEVEL~
Out of this world HIGH. Honestly, this book was basically just all sex. Sex, sex, and more SEX. Sex in the morning. And in the afternoon. Sex in the evening. And underneath the moon. Sex all the time. Indoor sex. Outdoor sex. Sex on a table. Sex in the shower. Sex on the bed. <--- I kind of feel like this should be made into a Dr. Seuss rhyme (lol). It also had a slight BDSM master/slave feel to it.


~ANGST LEVEL~
Pretty much ZERO. Like I mentioned above, this was insta-everything on steroids. The only angst comes from a couple of baddies which I'll throw under the OW and OM drama label. Other than that, this was a super easy peasy read.


~IN THE END~
I loved it. It was a super over the top and ridiculous read. But it was fun. It was well written and paced. It was sexy as f-ck. It had an enjoyable plot. The characters were both likable, and the ending was sweet. It pretty much the spot in every way for me. Therefore yours truly is going to give it two HUGE thumbs up. Bring on the next book please!

I’m convinced this was originally a LitErotica-type story just put into book form and self-published.

It really is nothing but sex, a caveman hero who “claims” the woman the moment they meet and tells her the next day that she’s moving in with him and quitting her job, and a TSTL heroine that lets the guy she just met have sex with her without protection knowing he is cool with getting her pregnant.

I enjoyed the story, but it needed more character development to earn a higher rating from me. While it has many elements I'm drawn to, I found myself wishing I could understand the characters' motivations behind their actions and attraction to one another. Nevertheless, I will be keeping an eye on this author's work and look forward to the next story in the series.

What I love about this author is that she can give you a sexy fantasy and turn into a great story. This might not be your average romance storyline but you will for sure enjoy every second of this one.

Heath is a great hero. He's an alpha male who knows he wants Kinsley and he isn't going to waste a minute. Kinsley moves in next door and once she sees Heath she knows she is in trouble. If you love insta romance with a lot of steamy scenes this novella is for you.

Another fun, steamy novel from Stella Stone.
I’m loving these short novels, they are quick escapes. They don’t go into a lot of heavy push-pull, angsty storylines. It’s insta-love and let me tell you it’s melt your ereader steamy.
Heath is a mysterious man. He prefers to stay in his home, not be a part of the outside world. But he certainly knows what he wants in a woman, and knows just how to bring Kinsley into his world.
Kinsley is a woman who is discovering herself. Heath introduces her to a world she didn’t know she wanted.
I’m hooked on these amazing stories from Stella, and can’t wait for the next one.

I’m torn. While I liked the idea of the story, I don’t feel that it was done justice. I liked both the characters because they were unique. I liked the story line because who doesn’t love a hot recluse who knows that he wants. Who doesn’t like kinky scenes. I liked all of that. I felt the pace of the story left a lot for me to desire. It was a fast paced novel and instalove. I don’t have issues with that, but I just felt for me, I needed things to be expanded more.

That being said, I really did enjoy it. If you want a fast paced, instalove, with a very low drama level, and steamy scenes, then this will be perfect for you. But if you want something that has depth, deep insight, and drama, then this won’t be a good book for that. 3.5 Stars #2OCCJD

This is a fast paced, insta-love read with a lot of HEAT! Heath and Kinsley are neighbors who fall fast for each other. He's a recluse, she's not, but quickly that changes for her.
This was a quick read for me, and although I would've loved to get more depth from this book, it was still a good read. If you're looking for a fast paced steamy story, then this one's for you.

Hot Recluse is hot. It's a fast paced, quick read filled with alpha sexiness and plenty of heat.
The author is new to me but is a pen name for an established author.
Instalust to complete submission in a matter of chapters, chapters are chock full of heat, alpha yumminess and Kinsley's attempt at being her own woman only to succumb to Heath's demands!
Loved both Heath & Kinsley, I look forward to reading more from this author.

I have to say that there is a time and a place for a quick, dirty, over the top, insta love novel. I have friends who would say that time is any day that ends in "y". I have others who would say that time is a lazy Saturday afternoon when the kids are at a play date and they want something they can read before they get back. I have other friends who would say that time is when they need a little quick inspiration before they go to bed that night. For all of those friends, this is going to be the next book I recommend for any and all of those purposes.
Heath is super alpha. He knows what he wants the second he lays eyes on Kinsley. The only time he wastes is the time to get her hot enough that she wants him bad enough that she forgets herself. After the first time they're together, he moves fast enough to please his made up mind, but slow enough for her to catch up. Not that it ever takes that long. The book does have a curveball I didn't expect so it's not TOTALLY straightforward, but it's still a delightful little read that will make you want some more. I'm definitely keeping this author in mind anytime I want something quick and dirty. I wish I knew what her other established writing persona is... I'm sure I'd enjoy those books just as much as I enjoyed this one.

Although I’ve never read anything by this author before I had a good idea what the book was going to be like based on the blurb and some of the teasers I’ve seen for the book. It has a lot of steamy encounters in it. It’s definitely a book for mature audiences.
Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Heath and Kingsley’s story doesn’t have a lot of depth to it. It’s more of a simple but pleasurable read. The story is very fast pace. It goes from insta lust to love quickly.
Kingsley is a sweet girl who is down on her luck. Needing a change she decides its time to go somewhere new. This is how she finds herself neighbors with Heath.
Heath doesn’t like leaving his house or interacting with people unless he really needs to.
He’s pushy, demanding and caveman-ish but once you get to know him he grows on you.
Watching his beautiful new neighbor through the window Heath finds himself totally captivated by her.
The attraction is so strong he finds himself leaping over the fence to “meet” her.
I actually found myself chuckling at how Alpha male Heath is and thought it a little cute and sweet at times.
If you’re looking for a quick, simple and sexy read I’d recommend this one.

There was very little plot in my opinion unless sex and more sex counts as plot. I don’t know how to wrap my head around what I read. The main characters are Kinsley and Heath. Kinsley can’t seem to catch a break to find a decent job that doesn’t end in a lecherous boss propositioning her. She embarks on a new life in a new town with another new job with her fingers crossed this one works out. However, new town, new place, means new neighbor. A very hot looking man named Heath who is apparently a consummate recluse. She jumps right into a wild affair with him right away. Heath is over the top in his domination of Kinsley, quickly taking over her life in and out of bed. And Kinsley is the good little submissive giving into some of his bizarre requests and demands. Have to give some stars for some hot sex scenes though! Check your ticker at the door because this one is not for the faint of heart. Definitely only for mature audiences over 18! If you’re looking for a quick hot read and not turned off by copious amounts of sex, this is it!

This was a good quick read that was definitely hot!

This story was insta-love and I found that it was lacking a bit of character development with how fast everything happened between the two characters.

I felt bad for Kinsley with why she lost her first job and then to land another job just as bad was crazy. I was shocked at what she let Heath do the moment he met her.

Heath was definitely an alpha male who liked control over his women and he wanted Kinsley to do what he wanted her to the moment he met her.

The book was good but there needed to be a bit more on getting to know the characters before sex.

Kinsley has recently moved after getting fired from her old job after her assistant lied getting her fired. She decides a new everything is what she needs. She moves away taking a new job as a secretary to a lawyer as it was one of the jobs she found. After moving in her new house she goes into her beautiful back yard and hears her neighbor. The man is perfect. A body to die for so she watches him. Heath is a recluse not because hes afraid but because he can get anything and everything delivered to him. He would much rather stay in his own wirld. The moment he sees his new neighbor hes done for she going to be his. I loved this author first book and Hot Recluse is just as good. I cant wait for more books. Hot steamy insta everything with an awesome story line with some suspense thrown in.

This was my first book by Stella Stone and admittedly I didn't really enjoy it. There were times that I even struggled to finish the book.

I feel as though Ms. Stone had laid the ground work of an entertaining and sexy story but she lacked in execution.

I found Heath to be extremely over the top and unbelievable in his requests and requirements. Yes, he is supposed to be an alpha recluse but to me he seemed almost demeaning when he thought and spoke of Kinsley.

I really struggled with the character of Kinsley. She is a self-proclaimed talented and intelligent, independent woman... but once she falls for Heath she takes on a role that is overly submissive in nature. The control she allows Heath to exert over her is at times uncomfortable to read.

I also personally didn't see the connection between Heath and Kinsley. So the sex was hot but I didn't see that thing, I feel that need for them to have a happily ever after.

There were moments when the story felt rushed and contrived. I almost feel like someone said here's the receipt for an erotic romance, follow his and you'll have a hit but the characters just weren't lovable. As I said before the bones were there and with some guidance a steamy and sexy story could have been crafted but at the end it left me luke warm at best.

What a hot fast read. Kingsley is looking for a new place to start over. She is a secretary for an attorney that gives off odd vibes. Heath is a homebody that works from home. He sees Kingsley through the fence and knows he needs to be with her but what turns out to be more than a one time thing. Heath has never wanted to be dominant over another girl ever, but he feels so different with her. Kingsley boss isn’t well like and gives off creepy vibes that shakes her up. Worse, Heath feels like he needs to protect her even more. You have to read this book.

Loved it!!!
This was definitely my type of book and Heath is definitely my type of Alpha.
What I loved the most was that it wasn’t a novella, this book was a decent size with a decent amount of chapters. Characters like Heath are what I crave, with his smutty Alpha-ness, but they’re usually in short stories and never usually have a full story behind them, Hot Recluse was a perfect mixture of both.

Cannot wait for the next book in the series !!!

This book is a bit different than others I have read and not something I would have chosen for myself but it’s a read I did enjoy! I don’t want to deter anyone from the book because though it’s not my thing it might be what others enjoy! It is a fave paced read and I would’ve loved a little more interaction between Kinsley and Heath!

I will say that things got HOT fast and stayed that way throughout the book! So if you’re looking for a SUPER STEAMY read this is definitely for you!

I gave this book three stars. The book was okay, but I kept waiting for the story, something I would keep my interest. I really hoped the storyline of the boss could have been expanded on to cover more than a half dozen pages. While I understood and was intrigued by the premise, I felt no attraction to the characters and the monologues were okay, I just prefer books with more story. This is a quick read and an okay book.

Heath saw the curvy dark haired woman move in next door, and has been watching her ever since. He works out in his backyard and noticed her watching. So, why not go over to introduce himself?
This a sexy wild ride and definitely worth a re-read!

Hot Recluse was a standard dom/sub book. Heath was the picture perfect dom, Kinsley was the perfect sub. They were neighbours that turned into lovers. Heath moves Kinsley into his house only a couple weeks after she moved in next door.
I would have love to the author give more details about Kinsley old boss and his wife. Who knows, maybe she has in a new book.

Stella Stone has written a fast paced read that will be sure to melt your kindle with intense sex scenes, and the ever so demanding alpha male Heath.

Heath is a recluse by choice and the moment he sets eyes upon Kingsley....he must have her. Kingsley sometimes questions her choices, but those thoughts are soon eradicated...
And would Heath really give her a choice???

If your looking for a long strung out story line, then you will be disappointed, this is a short novel that doesn’t hold back!!

I was simply addicted from the moment I started reading, definitely 5 Stars the whole way!!
