Really love this one. Ow drama in the form of her sister-she got with the h's ex. She tried to hit on the H, but nothing happened. So there was cheating off page between the sister and the ex. Great story.

Very steamy and sweet story. Heroine’s almost husband cheated on her with her sister and she finds a job as a nanny to hero’s daughter. They fall in lust and eventually in love. Her evil sister tries to create drama but she doesn’t succeed. Loved this hot couple! Epilogue was super adorable they had like 7 or 8 kids! I lost count! Lol

"The Rancher's Nanny" is the story of Madeline and Caleb.
Our hero Caleb is a rancher, who has a young daughter. He struggles with giving her time, being busy taking of his large ranch- and realizes his daughter needs another female figure in her life other than his mother.
They end up hiring the notorious Nanny Madeline, who is most known for getting dumped by her fiance for her sister, just before her wedding. Always having been shunned by her family, she lives vicariously through the families she takes care of.
Once hired by Caleb, she instantly falls for Paige..and soon her father. But she has issues from her past, and Caleb is not interested in taking another woman who could leave like his ex did. Can these both get over their issues and have a real relationship?
Very sweet story, with an alpha hero, kind curvy heroine, evil OW/OM, eventual finding of courage and hot hot HOT sex. I really liked the bond between the daughter and the heroine, and the epilogue was adorable too.

Sam Crescent is one of the few authors that it doesn't pain me to pay for her books because she's not on kindle unlimited. She almost never lets me down. This is another hit with Sam's Nanny series. I was a little annoyed with Caleb, he denied he was in love with Maddie for a little too long. I wanted to smack him around a little. April was completely adorable and I loved that she wanted Maddie to be her mommy.

I love a good nanny trope book and Sam is filling my need with this series. It's definitely going on my re-read shelf.

La historia demasiado plana.
Todo muuuuuuuy predecible.
Me gustan las historias de niñeras-jefe. Me encantan, pero esta… fue demasiado sosa. Donde estaba la tensión y los celos de verdad de un ranchero como es nuestro protagonista, si es cierto que “no le gustaba que ella saliera con más hombres” ajam… pero no vi fuego de verdad
No me leí el primero, vine directo al segundo, pero es que al final de libro se ve un adelanto del primer capítulo del tercero, que no… no le voy a leer ninguno más. No conocía a la autora, pero lo siento querida, no me gusta como narras.
Había faltas de ortografía. Cosas dudosas, las expresiones… dejaban mucho que desear.

This book was so sweet.
Caleb was busy with his daughter, the ranch and things. And his mother wasn't getting any younger so he needed help but he didn't want help. Until he met Maddie and saw how good she was with his daughter.
Maddie's life was okay. She loved the ranch, it feels like this was finally where she belonged. After her ex left her for her sister she gave up on men and romance. Even though she loved to read all about the hot alpha possessive types she had enough of men and their expectations.
But she also couldn't deny her attraction to Caleb. And Caleb who also had a bad experience with his ex also didn't want a relationship again. But he also knew that his attraction to Maddie couldn't go unchecked anymore.
I love books like this. Sweet insta attraction, some drama with the sister and ex but in the end they hero and heroine just can't keep away from each other anymore. Loved this series and hope there is more where this came from

Cowboy related romance stories aren't my favorite ones but this one was really pleasant to read! It was sweet and steamy! I'll be checking the other books in the series for sure.

This is the second book in the Nannies series by Sam Crescent. Caleb Pole is 40 years old and he’s the owner and operator of Pole Ranch along with his younger brother, Mike. The ranch was getting busier everyday and him and Mike liked to be very hands on. Years ago Caleb had a casual relationship with a woman named Ivory and unfortunately the condom broke and she ended up pregnant. Caleb married Ivory even though he didn’t love her and he tried to make her happy. They had a baby girl named Paige and one day Caleb came home and found Paige alone in her crib and divorce papers on the table. Paige is now 7 years old and neither of them have seen Ivory since the day she left. Caleb’s mom has been helping out with Paige but it’s getting to be too much for her so she convinces him to hire a nanny. Maddie is 29 years old and she’s always came second best to her older sister Emily. A year ago Maddie was prepared to marry Chad until he announced to her and everyone in the church on their wedding day that he was banging her sister and they were in love. Her dickhead parents love Emily best and they took her side making Maddie feel like it was her fault. Both Maddie and Caleb have given up on the opposite sex so when she moves in to take care of Paige they fight their attraction to one another.

This is exactly what you’d expect out of a Sam book. The premise of this story is good, the execution is not always the best. But one thing I’ve learned about Sams books, if you can look past the horrible grammar and spelling mistakes it’s a decent story.

I enjoyed this story. Especialy so, because Maddie stood up against her bitchy sister. I love that kind of drama, but only if h fights back at some point at least. And Maddie did. Maybe because this time around she had something worth fighting for. And talking about it... Caleb was worth fighting for. He was amazing. He always had Maddies back. And he always build her confidence in herself. Like I said, Caleb was wonderful.

We meet Caleb and his daughter pagie.. he needs a nanny to watch over his daughter who is kinda bratty (in my eyes) and is picked on at school for not having a mother
Thanks to his mother he gets to interview maddie.. a amazing nanny.. who has some troubles of her own
.. beside being a curvy gal.. maddie ex fiance dumped her at the alter.. for her older sister.. I already hate the sister
The parents and older sister dislike maddie.. never really said why her parents rather like Emily more then maddie?!
But paige and maddie relationship was cute they worked so well.. that bond was so good.. and her and caleb god.. sometimes you wanna snack them.. it was alot of push and pull.. between the 2.. but I like that he finally grew some balls and went for her

The Rancher’s Nanny author Sam Crescent is the second book in the Nannies series. This is my first time reading this series and I was not lost at all. I liked this one very much. I liked having a plus-sized heroine and I loved Caleb. He and his daughter are beautifully written, and I could not get enough of them.
Caleb is a rancher. He has had a rough time of it. He married a woman who left him and his infant daughter with just a note. Never to look back. Now he needs help, he has been raising his daughter by himself with his mom. But now his mom is getting older and more help is needed. So, he hires a nanny.
Maddie has had a bit of a hard time herself. Her fiancé left her at the altar for her sister. She has never ever been as good as her sister in her parent’s eyes. So, everyone blamed her for what her sister did. Now she is happy just to look after other people’s children and ignore her family.
I liked Maddie. She is kind, she can see beauty in simple things, and she has a ton of love to give. She is a great mom and great nanny. She also is loyal and loving just who the doctor ordered for Caleb.
This is a steamy story that kept me turning the pages. I would love for more from the Nannies series in the future. I want to know who falls in love next and how.

While The Rancher's Nanny like the first book seemed to contain more details to make the story seem longer than you would think it is, I couldn't get past the constant lack of self-confidence in Madeline and her constantly putting herself down. It's one thing to write stories about BBW, but I guess I would like to finally read these women have confident in themselves (kind of like Milly Taiden does with her heroines).
Madeline is the black sheep in her family. She's the bigger girl, or as her family calls her the fat ugly one. She's sworn off men after her fiance left her at the alter for her sister. Taking up a job as a nanny was a way for her to escape the pitying looks from the townspeople and ignore the gossip that everyone seemed to want to talk about.

I really liked this story. I read this book in one sitting and was left wanting more. I really liked Maddie. Her love for life and kids was clear to see. I liked how good she was with Paige and the bond she had with her. I liked that she made it known throughout that Paige was awesome. When Paige was upset about being bullied for her mother leaving her, Maddie was there for her, I liked that. I liked Caleb but he was quite closed off the majority of the times. I did like that he and Maddie didn’t get together instantly. The attraction between them grew for a while before they acted on it. The chemistry between Maddie and Caleb was clear to see. I liked them as a couple and liked that they both gave love a second chance. I HATED Emily. I wanted to kick her every time she was mentioned. She was truly a vile person.

Caleb was a really great guy. He had a wonderful daughter and great mother but he needed some help with raising Paige. She needed a woman’s care. Maggie was humiliated in public by her ex marrying her sister. But she didn’t let that get her down. She found a new job and moved on. She was the nanny to a little girl that was a spitfire. They hit it off really well but it was her dad that made her heart beat fast. The ranch was a dream and the rancher was the hot fantasy. I love that Caleb took his time, was in no rush. But his brother and mom knew he needed to move a bit faster. Maggie’s sister was an evil B and her parents were no better. Her ex was a jerk and I don’t care what epiphany he had after. Caleb made all of Maggie’s fantasies come true and gave them both the love of a big family. The hot sex was great.

Our hero, Caleb, has been burned once and ended up raising his daughter, Paige by himself (with help from family). Now she's older he needs more help. Enter our heroine, Maddie. She's from the local town but has had her heart broken by her family. She's pretty much alone and I felt so badly for her. As you read you get to feel for both Caleb and Maddie. Neither eant to chance getting hurt again and they also have to think about Paige.
I loved Granny and Mike. They just meshed so well with the story line. Paige was just adorable. I want a Paige now. This was a very sweet read and gives you lots of warm feelings. Aome drama and angst but it's not all soul tearing pain.

The book started okay but then they see each other and both lust after each other and then they live together and a few weeks pass by but they barely talk and i couldn't so i stop reading it.

Cute, how their relationship was built over time and they really got to know each other even before having sex. Not to mention, how sweet he was to read her old books to get his ideas on seducing her when they did finally become sexual. Thanks for letting us see how they were 10 years later.

I loved this book. The storyline was sweet, exciting, emotional, entertaining, and romantic. Loved the characters. Caleb and Maddie had great chemistry and were absolutely perfect for each other. Overall a very enjoyable read.
