Great. Book.
Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn how the web works, and understanding the languages in which the web uses to work. It's a technical book, but don't think of a university textbook. It's a welcoming book to web development.

Contains a lot of details about html, css, javascrypt, ajax, jquery, json.
What I like in this book is the small details explanation and the brief history of the different technologies.
Good book for anyone interested in learning the basics and practice.
