Well book 2 finds Tad pondering life. Poor Tad, for the life of him, can't figure out why he's still thinking about Scott and the Scott treatment?
I mean he's obviously not gay. He's not in to flogging.
He'll just go see Scott one more time. To prove that it's nothing. Anybody would have reacted the way Tad did when confronted with the Scott treatment. Guy or girl.

It’s been two weeks since the end of book one and Tad can’t focus on work or school.
He can’t stop thinking about the explosive, life-changing evening he spent with Scott…and he might have to break down and watch that vid at some point. He finally gets up enough courage to give Scott a call, he is relieved that Scott is still interested in filming a workout training video.
What makes this series work, (besides the excellent writing) is the realistic slow growth of story, and the beautiful character development.
Granted, it’s also hot as hell, and humorous too!

Tad has continued on with his life walking away from Scott and all that went on that night with Scott but he can't seem to get him out of his thoughts and what that means not only sexually but about who he is, he keeps picking his phone up putting it down till eventually when his friend asks him to go out with a group of friends including girls and he just can't stomach being with them this just pushes him to pick his phone up and do a workout with Scott actual EXERCISE yes and that's how it starts.
Obviously something leads to more and that progresses on...
This is another HOT read but I will say this has more of a hearty feel, Tads inner feelings and also I personally felt that Scott's emotions how he wants Tad to be his if only for now he wants Tad TO BE HIS

Tad’s been left pretty shaken after the events of the first chapter in this six-part story. Quite a few of his assumptions about who he is and what his sexual preferences are have been rattled badly.
Can he keep away from Scott though? The charismatic, built-like-a-brickhouse, sex God who brought him pleasure like no-one before? Even though Tad is not gay and not into BDSM.
Nope, of course not.
It’s not that Scott is pushing, or that Tad is asking, but it seems that these two are unable to keep their hands off each other. I like how considerate Scott is, how careful and passionate. And it’s pretty obvious (to us, but not to Tad) that Scott really fancies Tad. Not only for the sex, but because he genuinely likes the other guy, as they start getting to know each other better here.
There is no BDSM in this instalment, ‘just’ some incredibly scorching sex. No doubt, Kora Knight has serious writing skills in that department (I would happily compare her to Hailey Turner and Roe Horvat).
Saying that, it’s becoming a bit clearer in part 2, where this is heading for Tad. I think a lot of self-revelation might lie ahead of him!

What a great author. I love these characters and they are so well developed. This book was sweeter than Loser Takes All and it was great to see the characters develop. It's endearing and I did feel empathy for him as he tries to make sense of things. Poor Tad, such confusing times! I can't even get annoyed at his conflicting thoughts as I can feel it's a huge deal for him. Notwithstanding the smexy time, if I may so myself...*g*
I've started the 3rd book, Sideline Submission, as I'm writing this because how can I not, with a non-ending ending like that (and that's a beef I had, if any, Kora, sorry), just like how the first one ended (or non-ended) too. Tad and Scott's story continues, or should I say more like the study of Tad's character continues. It's all about Tad not understanding what's happened in Loser Takes All yet not being able to help himself to see that something else is happening. It's endearing and I did feel empathy for him as he tries to make sense of things. Poor Tad, such confusing times! I can't even get annoyed at his conflicting thoughts as I can feel it's a huge deal for him. Notwithstanding the smexy time, if I may so myself...*g*
I've started the 3rd book, Sideline Submission, as I'm writing this because how can I not, with a non-ending ending like that (and that's a beef I had, if any, Kora, sorry), just like how the first one ended (or non-ended) too. And Scott, I still wish to get to know him more. I'm getting him, but not getting him fully at the same time. But hey, this is Tad's "story" after all...
