A cute little book with silly little sounds the little one loves.

This is a high energy picture book with vibrant art and a bouncy text about a runaway bicycle wheel that speeds down a hill and slowly rolls back up. Dodds tells the story with humorous onomatopoeia beating rhythms that captures the wheel's travels through different crowds and settings. Hurd's colorfully imaginative illustrations are in perfect harmony with the text's pacing and make this a great preschool read-aloud.
