Ok
This story was okay. There are some big plot holes in this story so I’m hoping we will get another story about these two, or in the next story we will hear from them.

It was okay
I've enjoyed T J Quinn's previous books but this one fell short for me. I didn't feel an emotional connection between Kahm and Selena even after she was rescued and they both declared their love for each other. Also the romantic relationship lacked heat and felt stilted. But that's just me and I don't like to put down an author's work!!🙈 As I mentioned previously I have throughly enjoyed her previous series!

This story is about Selena a Latina women stranded on war torn Earth looking for a way to make a better life for her and her parents. Kahm is a warrior who gave up the life to become a farmer, his friend is encouraging him it's time he needs to find him a bride. Selena spends her days at the hospital working as a nurse but it's still not enough to help feed her and her parents, so she decides the only way to help is to sign up with the Galactic Mail Order Bride Service. Selena was only able to save up enough for the lowest service which doesn't give her any say in who her husband will be, but she just has to hope and pray he will be good to her and her parents. Kahm finally gives in and goes to the Mail Order Bride agents and when he sees Selena's picture in the data base he finds himself drawn to her and he can't explain why, so he pays her dowry and patiently waits for his brides arrival. Selena can't believe it someone has chosen her and paid much more then what her dowry had been for her, why would a man do such a thing for her? What other choice does she have but to say yes her parents need that money to survive. So Selena says yes and starts on her journey to meet her husband, when she first meets Kahm she has to admit he's very handsome and she is very attracted to him. Kahm and Selena have to learn each others ways and find a way to make their relationship work, and at the worst possible time while they're in the middle of trying to build the foundation of their marriage trouble shows up on Kahms doorsteps. Will Selena and Kahm be able to make it through this first trial in their marriage.....

KHAM thinks that it's time he settles down with a mate, and is encouraged by his good friend's own human female to get one of his own. So, he contacts the mail bride order agency to find him one. The moment he meets his woman, he feels possessive and easily prone to jealous fits. Serena herself is like her namesake...she's serene and coming from a impoverished home she's determined to marry and gather the dowry for her own family to make ends meet. Who knew that Kham would offer so much for her and instead of picking out the worse, fate has brought her to meet a male who cherishes her.
OVERALL it was cliche. Enough said. But I still enjoyed every moment of it.

OMG 😲WoW 🔥
WoW this was so 🔥I could not put it down !!! The story brought tears to my eyes . Reading the chemistry between Kahm and Selena was awe inspiring . I felt the anger with Selena when Kahm's ex lover tried to intimidate her and destroy their love . WoW the sex scenes were just so 🔥😉 . I love alien rom a certain books a d if anyone else does I promise this one is well worth reading!

Great Start for a New Series
The story was was well written and kept your attention from beginning to end. It's an adventure of romance; where you take a chance of finding true love with the alien mate that selected you? It also had jealously from a former girl friend, kidnapping, and steamy passion love scenes with awesome characters? A must buy and so ready to read the next book in the series.

It was okay.
It seemed to take a long time for the couple to meet, we had her family, her earth situation, which I know gives some reasons as to why she joins as a mail order bride but it seemed, to me, too long.
There is ex drama and things are set up for another book about a different race.

Good Story
This is a well-written short story that quickly becomes irresistible to your imagination. You're trying to hurry and see where the story is going with its twists and turns. I loved how the romance quickly progressed and the erotic highlights were both excellent and believable. Enjoy!

TJ always delivers for me. This is another hot, steamy read with a heart. The ex girlfriend is a cow. Would love another book with these characters.

Decent story
Except I have a problem with that she allows kidnapper that have attempt murder and severlly injure some one go free for that reason I gave it 4 instead of 5.

It was okay, but she was so agreeable to everything it was just a story of her saying thank you all the time. No real conflict or resolution.

I know that world building is slow but I got to chapter 6 and couldn't take anymore,plus the typos . The characters are lifeless even with a good storyline.
