NEW AUTHOR ALERT!!!!

Ashley Erin, oh my goodness lady where can I begin. I LOVE the story!!!

From the beginning you had me, I love the way both the characters came to life. You kept me engaged and wanting to see what was to come. Emma and Dane's story is one that was told beautifully and classy. Emma moving back to her childhood home to feel the connection to her family. Dane wanting her and being excited to have her but knowing she needed time. Love the scene where they see each other again after so many years!!!!

When they finally connect the relationship isn't perfect, they run into some set backs. Having their friends and family as support helps them see what they have is real and its meant to be. The fact that Dane knew Emma belonged to him for so long had me falling for him. Him trying to give her space but doing all the perfect things was fun to read. Him helping her with her anxiety and being supportive of her work. Some of my favorite parts of the book are him romancing her and sweeping her off her feet, oh that ending...SWOON!

The supporting characters were so well written. I have a few I would love to see more of. For a first time author this is an EXCELLENT debut and honestly, hats off for a well written, engaging and beautiful love story of a love that was meant to be.

Excited for more!!!!!!

This was a fantastic debut novel from Ashley Erin! The way she brought the story to life, from the character development to setting the scene, was simply perfect. Her style of writing kept me captivated from the first page to the last, and by the time I reached the end I was dying for more. I think what I loved most was that these characters weren't glamorized. No millionaire playboys or rockstars or athletes…just normal, every day people living through experiences anyone might possibly encounter. Emma was definitely relatable and I could empathize with what she was going through. Thankfully her childhood friends were there to help her pick up the pieces after she had lost so much. The way Dane gingerly broke down her walls and swept her off her feet had me swooning hard for him. But at times, I did feel that their reunion as friends and their progression into something more was a bit rushed. I often found myself questioning what exactly it was attracting them to one another, but I think the underlying mutual feelings had always remained, even as kids. The supporting characters were just as well written and I'm really looking forward to reading the next book in the series, All About Hope!

ALL ABOUT US is writer Ashley Erin's debut novel and it lives up to all my expectations.

Set in her home province of Alberta, ALL ABOUT US tells the story of Dane and Emma, childhood friends who reunite after years apart. Emma returns to her grandfather's home to recover and start over after devastating losses. She is fragile and weak while Dane is strong and neither can fight the attraction that still exists between them.

The story contains themes of loss and grief, PTSD, and starting over. Ashley Erin treats these themes with compassion and kindness, giving the reader much to think about in the reading experience by developing Dane and Emma's characters well. Supporting characters in Dane's sister and brother are well-written and complementary as is Dane's best friend Jesse. Ashley Erin has an easy-going style that works well in the story.

While the book is part of a series, it does stand alone. Future novels in the series will feature the supporting characters in ALL ABOUT US. Totally enjoyable read!

How freaking good is this book? Well let me tell you that it is fanfreakingtastic!!!! I have to be honest and say that I am a sucker for a cowboy romance so this book yelled to me from the start. But this book was more than I expected. Ohh what can I say about the leading man, Dane, well he is simply perfect and has stolen my coveted top book boyfriend spot! He is such a sweetie, loves with his whole heart, is loyal to family and friends but is super hot and sinfully sexy (just look at the cover!). Emma, the leading lady is broken down due to grief. Dane has the power to bring her back to fill happiness but can misunderstandings stop this?? The supporting cast were fundamental in making this book so brilliant. They created a realistic group and I can't wait until they get their own stories! I am so thankful that I one clicked this book. Thank you Ashley Erin for creating such a masterpiece. I award it 5 awesome stars!!!

This sweet and sexy story reconnects childhood friends Dane and Emma after years apart, following a tragedy for Emma that has resulted in her moving home to familiar territory. I liked this story, though I found the writing to be fairly simplistic compared with what I'm used to reading. It was fairly clear that the author is a young woman of a similar age to the characters as the voices used to tell the story were very much of that generation, and appropriate for a new adult story. I liked the dual point of view as I enjoy hearing both sides of the story. The circle of friends that surround them were a fun and likeable group, and I enjoyed their banter. The setting was well described and interesting. Overall a good debut story for this new author and one that fans of new adult romance will enjoy. 3 solid stars.

Note : a copy of this story was provided by the author for review.

From start to finish I was loving it!
For a first-time author I thought this was written extremely well. I was captivated by the story and kept wanting more. You can feel the emotions through the pages and the connection and feelings that the main characters had for one another. Dane is truly a hottie and Emma is so easy to like.

I would totally highly recommend this book to any of you. This is a standalone so no cliffs to fly off of!

I bought this book to take a change on a new author and I'm so glad I did. Ashley did a great job with the bringing the story together. I loved Dane immediately because basically I'm a sucker for cowboys! My heart hurt for Emma, not there is truly no place like home to heal a broken heart, and nothing like that one true love to be to missing piece to making you whole again. I would highly recommend this book to everyone!

A Wonderfully Captivating & Heartfelt Romance!

All About Us
All or Nothing, Book 1
By: Ashley Erin
Narrated by: Tracy L. Ortolano

Every once in a while you come across a book that grabs not only your attention but your heartstrings too and captivates both the entire time, “All About Us” is one of those books. Ashley Erin is a gifted author, I enjoyed her writing style and the characters and storylines she created, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, it was also easy to feel for them and what they were going through. Emma was broken-hearted and her grief and guilt were getting the best of her and she ran back to a place where she thought she might find comfort, her childhood home and she winds up finding so much more than that, she found and rekindled old friendships and maybe even love. She grew up on her grandfather’s farm and was glad it stayed in the family she was also glad to see her childhood friends were still her neighbors, Lia, Dane and Ryan. Dane never forgot about Emma, he fell in love with her when he was a child and every woman who came in his life was compared to her, none of them measured up. Their first encounter was pretty funny, she makes a splash and he helps her out. The chemistry between them was evident the moment they met, but Emma was not in the best of ways, Dane sensed this and decided to take things slow. Dane was patient and understanding with her but he almost ruins it when Emma’s friend Alex comes to stay and he misinterpreted their relationship. Later in the book Emma almost does the same when she sees Dane’s ex getting a little too close for comfort. This is a beautiful story about learning to live again, to cope and get past the things in life that bring you down, grief, guilt, PTSD and other monsters that invade out heart and mind, calling out for help is ok and so is allowing yourself to love again. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a wonderfully plotted story with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, loads of heartfelt and emotional moments and a slow burn but meaningful romance. Ashely Erin, thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the narration, Tracy L. Ortolano is a new to me narrator, she has a clear and pleasant voice that is easy to listen to. I do not know if it was the artist’s direction or choice for this book, but I found her lack of varying the voices for the characters disappointing and I think this book would have benefited if it was a dual narration with a male narrator voicing the male characters. Thankfully, the author noted which character we were hearing from at the beginning of the chapter or before a scene change otherwise, it would have been harder to follow along and tell who was who. In my opinion, character voices are important in audiobooks, regardless of how many points of view the story is told in, when you have to stop and think about which character is talking, it talks your head out of the story. Other than that, Ms. Ortolano is an entertaining storyteller and did a great job capturing the characters’ emotions and projecting them into her performance.

4 Stars….All about love and understanding

Erin Ashley nailed it with this short and sweet debut novel. Set in Canada on their family ranches it is the story of Dane and Emma who grew up as childhood best friends along with Dane’s sister Lia. Erin captures the longing and the friends to lovers’ aspect without over complicating the story. This isn’t a book filled with unnecessary drama and angst it is pure love and raw passion just waiting to bubble to the surface. She developed an awesome cast of secondary characters in addition to the main couple and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Emma not knowing what else to do, packs up all her belongings loads her horses and returns to the home she was forced to leave when her parents relocated them thirteen years ago. Now trying to pick up the pieces of her heart and learn to live again after the tragic year she’s just endured, she moves back to her childhood home and the place that holds so many bittersweet memories for her. But it doesn’t just hold memories it is also right next door to the one person who has held her heart since she was just a child.

“Time, distance, misunderstandings… none of that diminished how deeply I love you. I want to be by your side for the rest of my life, grow old with you, make love to you and build a family with you. You are my past, present, and future.”

Dane has loved Emma since he was eight years old, the only problem is she doesn’t know it. No woman has ever compared to Emma and now that she is coming home Dane is determined to claim her and show her just how he’s always felt. No longer the adolescent boy he once was he is now a grown man working the family ranch and hoping that the girl he’s secretly always considered his will want him just as much as he wants her. Now he just has to find a way to show her how he feels without scaring her off or ruining their friendship because no matter what he will take whatever part of her she is willing to give him.

I loved the interaction between Emma and Dane, it was amazing that even after such a long separation they could pick up their friendship so easily right where they left off. You can feel the love radiating off these two but yet there is hesitation and a fear of rejection and messing up the good thing they have already. My heart broke for all the pain and suffering that Emma has been through this past year but at the same time I loved seeing Dane jump in to be her savior and to try to help her cope with her pain. This is a standalone but is also book one in the All or Nothing Series and I cannot see these two in the future installments as well as the rest of the characters. I would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed with this quick but fulfilling story of best friends to steamy lovers.

When Emma decides to travel down memory lane and wander into her childhood, she always thinks about Dane, him and his family were a constant in her life for so long, then one day they were gone. When her parents decided to move, it crushed her, she would no longer be able to spend her days with Dane and his sister Lia, she wasn't ready to say goodbye to them. But now after all these years she is coming home to say hello again, and taking over the beautiful ranch her grandfather left her, and once again she will be living right across the road from the man who captured her heart, as a boy, so many years ago. And the moment she comes face to face with said man, her heart melts all over again, but is a treasured friendship worth risking for a chance at true love?

There isn't a day that has passed that Dane hasn't thought of Emma, the beautiful girl who stole his heart all those years ago, he knew then that they would be joined until the day they left this earth, but their road to finding that forever was cut short when her and her parents moved away. Now all these years later she is coming home, to make a life of her own on her late grandfathers ranch, and he plans to make sure she never leaves his side again. He's hoping they will be able to find what was lost all those years ago, and possibly so much more, he has waited for her for so long and he would love nothing more than to put a ring on her finger and call her his forever... that is unless someone else has already laid claim to her heart.

All About Us is a story of love, healing, hope, and second chances... one that is certain to melt the hearts of readers! This first time read touched my heart and made me swoon, and left with quite pleased with what I found. It was so easy just fall into the words with this one, and get swallowed up with every part of it, it was so darn addictive. I loved the characters so much, they had undeniable chemistry, a spark that inspired a little heat here and there, and the thing I liked the most was there relatability, they seemed like real folks dealing with real problems. Hands down one of my favorite new literary discoveries this year, highly recommend!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and voluntarily read and reviewed.

Oh my gosh, this book is terrific. I read this book so quickly. Some parts were funny, some sad and some made me say really Dane. ha ha.
Each of the characters added something special to the book. Even though it is told from the two main characters Emma and Dane, the author had a way of making me feel like Lia, Ryan and Alex were main characters as well.
Emma moves back home to what was her childhood home after her Grandfather passes and leaves her the family house. But with her trying to cope with the guilt of losing her parents and her Grandfather a month later proves to be tough. Emma isn't expecting to have a crush on Dane her childhood best friend. When she see's him, she realizes he is very much grown up. Dane see's Emma and realizes yes he is still in love with her since he was 8. But he has to break down her walls to show that he will always be there for her. This book is about getting those chances again and forgiving and letting go of guilt and taking that leap of faith or chance on someone.

I really Liked this Book!! I love a good country romance! It was super sweet and sexy! I fell in love with Dane as a little boy! I loved how strong his feelings for Emma were. 13 years is a long time to hold on to someone. Emma has a lot happen in her life and is trying her best to deal with loss and her move back to her childhood home. I loved the immediate chemistry that Dane and Emma had. You can't help but root for them. Dane's siblings are great, Lia is crazy and fun. Ryan is keeps to himself and he fiercely cares for those he loves. I also loved Alex, he was protective and has an alluring presence. I'm a country girl myself so I loved so much about the ranch life in this book. It was very realistic and the characters are relatable. If you're looking for a book you can fall into and disappear for a few hours, with a sizzling slow burn that leaves you wanting more, this is your book! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If you don't know who Ashley Erin is, you need too. She is an amazing author. Her story is great and sucks you in from the very beginning. I love Ashley's story and I hope you will as well.

I love Dane and Emma! The chemistry between them is off the chart. Dane has always loved Emma. Emma has unbelievable grief and feels she needs to be home to deal what she is feeling. These characters are amazing. I loved that they were normal people. They were relatable. They were everything I wanted them to be and more. I loved how developed they were. I don't want to give to much away but I will say this...this story deals with subjects that are not easy to talk about. Ashley does an amazing job handling these issues. I'm beyond thankful for having the opportunity to read this book.

This is a sweet story. It's about a girl who comes back to the home she grew up in, after the death of her parents and grandfather all within a month of each other. She is scared and traumatized and wants to be able to move on with her life.

Her home is next to her childhood friends which she hasn't seen in 13 years since she moved and she is surprised by the chemistry she had with her old friend Dane.

Dane has been in love with her since he was 8 years old and is now excited to have a chance with her, but before that can happen, he needs to help her work through her grief and break through the walls she has built around her heart.

It was a sweet story. I loved the chemistry the two MCs had and the supporting characters were great too. Very entertaining. It will definitely make you shed a few tears. THe story is very emotional but lovely.

All About Us (All or Nothing #1) was a great read by Ashley Erin. Emma's world shattered and left her broken in twenty four hours. She decides to return to her childhood home, hoping it will help her heal. Dane lost Emma years ago and finally has a chance to make things right. They are both drawn to each other. Emma must decide if she is willing to risk her heart when she just began healing. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Miscommunication and misinterpretation is icky

It was too funny how fast I forgot what this book was about when I went to write the review. I had to go read the blurb again to refresh my memory.

Then I remembered the icky tropes and most of the book was Emma and Dane misinterpreting each other because they were not communicating. And then they would both over react and be mad. Then they would realize that it wasn't the other person's fault. And it was just annoying for me to read over and over again.

I did like the aspect of it being on a ranch. I thought that was refreshing. Emma definitely had a lot of grief to work through and guilt that was not hers to bare. By the end, she was starting to show signs of some growth, but not much. I would have loved to see her story blossom more.

Emma grew up on her grandfather's farm. The neighbor's kids (Lia, Dane and Ryan) were her best friends. But when her father's job transfers them, shes at a loss. But she makes a new best friend, Alex, after his father leaves and his mother turns to drugs her parents take him in. Life moves on, Emma is now a author, and has a following, but one day in August her life changes. Her car breaks down, so she calls her parents to come rescue her. But on the way they are in a fatal accident. A month later, her grandfather dies of a heart attack. Emma's life is spiraling into a black void.

Emma is coming home, her grandfather left her his farm. First thing is to try and calm her nerves from driving, since her parents accident riding in a car has brought on panic attacks. Once shes ready she gets out to unload her horses. Once she has them in the pen, she decides to run with them to make sure they are okay. Not paying attention she falls into the water for the horses, that is where Dane finds her.

Dane has been in love with Emma since he was 8. When she moved away his heart broke. But, now shes back, and all the feelings are there. He knows he has to tread lightly with her, but at the same time, he wants nothing more then to grab her (MY PERSONAL, LAUGHED OUT LOUD PART....CHAPTER 6, PART 2..DANE...I'M TIRED OF WAITING), love her. Emma feels the same BUT the thought of losing more loved ones if it doesn't work out is too much for her to take. Her friends don't realize how bad it is, until they are coming back from a shopping trip, and Emma takes a severe panic attack, but when Dane touches her, he calms her, a first.

Misunderstandings are hard for any couple, especially when one has just started to pull themselves out of the dark pit of despair. In a blink of a eye things can change, for the better or worse....

4.5 Stars!

I loved this book. For a debut novel, this author knocked it out of the park. This book was sweet, sexy, slightly angsty, and had a beautiful love story between life long friends. This book was really incredible and made me feel good. It was a nice blend of super sweet and ultra steamy. And I have to admit that once I started the book, I couldn't stop, wanting more.

This is Emma and Dane's story. Emma is coming home after more than a decade. She is coming home to deal with her grief and build a new life. She knows loss and doesn't like attachments. She is closed off and only lets a few in. One man from her past is determined to break down her walls and claim her heart.

Dane has been in love with Emma since they were kids. When she moved away, he was devastated. He lived his life and ran a three date rule but his heart was already taken, When he finds out Emma is coming back into town, he knows it is time to make her his. But the girl he remembers is not the same Emma. She is broken and battered. He wants to heal her.

Oh Dane... such a sweet, sweet man! He was so sweet, kind, considerate, compassionate... I could keep going. He was totally swoonworthy. He was a beast in between the sheets but on the outside, he was a gentle soul. I loved how he made sure to show Emma she was worth it and loved. He was a heart on the sleeve kind of guy. I also liked Emma. My heart bled for her at times because I could empathize with her loss. Despite all of the obstacles, I was rooting for these two even through all of the ups and downs.

I cannot wait for the next book in this series!
I highly recommend this book!

After a tragedy takes away the people Emma loves; she feels completely broken inside. So she returns to her childhood home and hopes that the connections of her long lost friends will be there to heal her heart.

But it is Dane, who makes her feel again. But Emma fights her attraction in fear of losing him and his family who she feels are now her family. Dane has always known that Emma is the one for him and now that she is back he is determined to make it almost impossible for Emma to resist him. Dane is successful in making Emma resolve waver.

Being around Dane makes Emma able to calm the storm that rages inside her. He also makes her feel things that make her pulse race with want and need for this man.
Will she is risking everything to be him? Can she be fearless and give Dane a real chance?

I am amazed that Ashley Erin is a new writer. I absolutely loved this story!

I loved this story from the start. Emma and Dane's story is a beautiful one! Emma and Dane were friends as children and then Emma moved away and returned broken. Dane always knew Emma was the one for him. Now he has his chance to help heal her and get her to give in to their chemistry.

Dane is absolute swoon worthy cowboy who has had hidden desire for Emma since she moved away. Its a beautiful love story. Full of ups and downs with Emma dealing with her own fears and healing from her loss.

The love all the characters. I want more of them all. were so well written. I have a few I would love to see more of "hint". I felt it was a great book from a new author that everyone must check out. Go one click this one and fall in love too!

All About Us is one of those stories where I really like the story itself, but the main characters can be a bit annoying because of a behavior they share in common--jumping to conclusions (the wrong ones).

The storyline is a mix of some of my favorite tropes-second chance romance (well, sort of since the main characters were only kids the first time around) and friends-to-more. The setup was a good one and it draws you in to the story, and the characters are believable and easy to relate to.

The misunderstandings that keep undermining their relationship? That's where the jumping to conclusions part comes in, and since both of the main characters can be a little stubborn, each time it happens it gets a bit drawn out which is where I got a little irritated.

One of the plusses was seeing the changes in Emma as she learns to work through the issues caused by the losses she's suffered. Another is the way Dane understands her issues and helps her through them with his unconditional love and pure devotion...even if he makes a few mistakes along the way.

A good, quick read for romance fans...and I think anyone who has read this will agree that you'll definitely love Alex, Emma's best friend. I'm intrigued to read his story next! 3.5 stars for All About Us.

Absolute Sweetness! Emma is coming home again after over 10 years to heal her mind and spirit. Dane can’t wait for her return. He hasn’t seen her since he was a boy but Dane has been in love with Emma that long. Lia, Emma’s best friend and Dane’s sister knows that Dane is in love and convinces Emma to take a chance.

Alex has been Emma’s rock for years. They have seen each other through the bad and the good. He’s moving back with Emma. When Dane has his first run in with Alex, Dane reacts immaturely. While I can’t say that I blame him at first due to the circumstances. His keeping it up even when his brother and sister try to tell him he’s screwing it up made me just want to shake him. The pain and set back that it caused Emma was unfair.

I was glad when Dane and Emma finally worked things out and even when Dane and Alex worked it out. I was a little disappointed that right after Dane screwed up by making an assumption that Emma turned around and did the same thing. I loved how Dane was there for Emma and didn’t let go.

The ending was charming and full of hope for the future for Dane and Emma.

Dane is a complex character. I would love a Dane for myself, but at times he can just be some dumb. On more then one occasion I found myself wanting to smack him upside his head. Yet at others I felt bad for him because everyone was so hard on him. Emma has had so much happen in such a short period of time you have to wonder how she is still going. Alex, her best friend is a big part of helping her continue on. Really he is the only family she has left, but coming back home has opened her eyes to how much others care about her. The characters and story line were so well though out and keep you wanting more. The sexual tension and cute banter between Dane and Emma keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. Ashley Erin did a great job in the first standalone in this series. If you are looking for a cute, quick, fun read I recommending picking this book up. I will warn you don't get mad when Ashley Erin sucks you in and you want to read the next book because I know I am looking forward to it!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, betrayal, grief and heartbreak.

This is Emma and Dane’s story. Emma is coming back to her childhood home. She has been dealt with a lot of loss in the last year. She has come home to heal and be with her friends. The attraction between her and Dane is mutual but Emma feels she needs to fight it. She has lost almost everyone she loves and does not want to lose anyone else. Dane can wait for her to allow love to grow between them but he will help it along if he can. But Emma fights him every step what happens when two people see two different things and they both expect the worst. Can they figure out the truth about the situations? Or will the betrayal they think they are experiencing just all in their minds? Will Dane and Emma ever get their chance at a happily ever after?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
