I KEEP bloody looking at this page like a friggin stalker looking to see if there has been an update with a release date.......but nope !!. Poppin that P at the end. Grrrrrrrrrrr !!!

I loved this book, it's more of a novella/serial and I usually do not like serial books but this book was amazing and I can't wait to read the last two books. I saw this book and the description caught my eye. I love the idea that humans are almost extinct and that vampires are ruling the world. Then I started this book and didn't want to put it down. I hate that I have to wait for the next two books. I will be reading them the second I can. Our hero starts off full of himself and yet still holding onto his humanity and not wanting to forget his life before he was changed. Our heroine Harley hasn't known anything but the life she leads. Humans in hiding and vampires ruling the world. With very few humans alive the vampires now have a new problem.
I loved everything about this book our hero is cocky and yet so caring and strong. Harley is lonely but a fighter while at the same time Harley doesn't know what it is to live or to have anything we take for granted. I can't wait to see were this story goes from here and I am so excited to see how this will all end. The book does end on a somewhat cliffhanger but it's one that didn't bother me at all and for me it's not really even a cliffhanger at all. I am so glad we don't have to wait too much longer for the next book.

Too slow to my liking. I don't think I'll be interested in the rest of the books. I just hate it when a book was chopped up into several instalments. Each one usually will get dragged on and on and on. Better books elsewhere.

Hot sexy vampire yes please ❤️ this is the first novella in a series and was a good start.
Vampires have been greedy with their food and the supply has run out so they decide the only way for them to survive is to breed humans. James is given the task of finding a surviving human and he finds Harley.
A good story that ends on a cliffhanger bring on book 2.

The unthinkable is happening, vampires are slowly dying off! How can this be? They are supposed to be immortal!! The fact of the matter is, they have indulged in too many humans and they are practically extinct and the hematonin pills they have been taking, aren't working as well for them anymore because they are becoming immune to it. What are they to do? After a large meeting, the council has decided that they will hunt for any remaining humans and capture them to breed them. This essentially is their last chance for survival. James a one hundred and fifty six year old vampire is to head the search for humans. James however is not your normal vampire, he has spent many years hating who he has become and longing for his life as a human. He is haunted my memories of his human life and does his best to hold onto it (driving fast cars, dressing in a modern style, collecting treasures that humans left behind). Harley is a young woman fighting to survive. Her whole family has died at the hands of vampires and she has been left struggling day by day to survive. While on the hunt for humans, James finds Harley and there is an instant chemistry he cannot deny. James brings Harley back to his house until it is safe to take her to the hospital to begin tests for the breeding process. Over the course of the time Harley is at James's house, you can tell he feels deeply for her. You can tell by the way he does certain things for her (offers her a shower, covers her with a blanket when she is cold, feeds her food he has stocked up on, allows her to explore his place and human treasures and tells her all about human history). He tries to make Harley feel as comfortable as possible and it leads them both to start feeling things they shouldn't be feeling. As they are about to give in to their attraction, a knock on the door changes everything! A hungry vampire is on the other side of the door and knows that James has a human in his house. This hungry vampire will do anything to get to Harley. Book 1 ends with the vampire attacking Harley and we don't know what will happen next. Will Harley die? Will James save her? Will she become a vampire and they will live happily ever after? It's hard to say, one things for certain though! I can't wait to read what happens next!!

The world has changed the humans are hiding and the vampires became the dominate species. The law had to be introduced, illegal to turn a human into a vampire, illegal to kill anything with a pulse, they had to, to keep their blood supply up.
The pill that they had to help keep them alive, they were becoming immune to, they had no choice they had to start the breeding program and look for humans.
James finds a human and although he wants to feed he doesn’t, he takes her home, although he then gets told to keep her safe until the threat has gone from their headquarters.
Harley can’t believe the vampire hasn’t killed her straight away. Trying to keep her alive James realise that he’s starting to care for her. They are even flirting, trying to fight their attraction, then a knock on the door changes everything.

To short
This started off very intriguing. I liked the apocalypse part even though it seems far fetched. I mean we have donated bags of blood they can't be that stupid. I really liked him he kept my interest throughout the story. I thought it was to short though and they drew it out.

A good start to this vampire series.
The chemistry between Harley, a human trying to survive after most of the human population has been decimated, and James, a vampire, is magnetic.
Told in both points of view, I enjoy reading their thoughts about each other and what is going on around them. When Crave ended (OMG!!!) I immediately downloaded book 2, Claim.

I enjoyed this! A great start to the series. I love me a sexy vampire and James is definitely that. And I’m interested in seeing where this story goes. The ending left me wanting & needing more. I will probably wait until both #2 & #3 are both released to finish the series, as I don’t like to be left hangin’.

Aunque este super corta y básica está introducción, igual me gusto mucho el mundo que nos presenta, ya casi no hay humanos y los vampiros están muriendo, me atrapó :)
