S. Ramakrishnan
(Tamil: எஸ்.ராமகிருஷ்ணன்; born 1966)

is a noted Tamil author and Tamil film dialogue writer. He was born in Mallankinaru, Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu.

Ramakrishnan is noted for his column Thunai Ezhuthu in the magazine Ananda Vikatan. His short stories have been translated in German, French, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.

His other works include Kadhaa Vilaasam, Desaandri, and Alainthen Tirindhen.

எனக்கு மிகவும் மிகவும் மிகவும் பிடித்த வரிகள்:

சிறு செடி:

இந்த செடியின் தனிமையை நினைத்துப் பார்க்கிறேன். அதைப் போன்ற வேறு செடிகள் எதுவும் அருகில் இல்லை. அந்தச் செடி பெரிய மரங்களைப் போல பறவைகளைத் தன் மீது அமர அனுமதித்ததில்லை. வண்ணத்துப்பூச்சியோ, தட்டான்களோ கூட அதைத் தொட்டுப்பார்த்ததேயில்லை. மழையைக் கண்டு பயங்கொண்டதில்லை. வெயிலைப் பற்றி அக்கறை கொள்வதில்லை. எந்தப் பெரிய மிருகம் பற்றியும் அதற்கு அச்சமில்லை. அது பழம் தருவதில்லை. தன்னைப் பெரிதாக வெளிக்காட்டி எவரையும் கவர்வதில்லை. ஆனால் அது தன்னிருப்பில் முழுமையாக இருக்கிறது. உலகின் பிரமாண்டங்கள் அத்தனையையும் கேலி செய்தபடியே அது அசைகிறது.

நீங்கள் கடைசியாக இயற்கையை ரசித்தது எப்பொழுது? இயற்கை என்றால் காடுகளோ, மலைபிரதேசங்களோ, புல்வெளிகளோ, தடாகங்களோ மட்டும் கிடையாது. நம் வீட்டில், நடைபாதை பூவில், சிறு செடிகளில், தற்போது அரிதாகிப்போன மழையில், ஏன் நம் உடலிலே கூட எத்தனை அற்புதங்கள். இப்படி நாம் கவனிக்க தவறிய பொக்கிஷங்கள் நிறைய இருப்பதை சுட்டி வருணிக்கிறார் எஸ்.ரா.

பிடித்த வரிகள்...
நான் இசை அறிந்தவன் அல்ல. ராகங்களோ , இசை நுட்பங்களோ தெரியாது. ஆனால் எனக்கு சில தருணங்களில் இசை தேவையானதாக இருக்கிறது. அந்த நிமிஷங்களில் மட்டுமே நான் இசையை நெருங்குகிறேன். அப்படிப் பாடல் கேட்கக் துவங்கினால் தொடர்ச்சியாக மனது அடங்கும் வரை கேட்டுகொண்டே இருப்பேன். எதற்காக சில பாடல்களைத் திரும்பத்திரும்ப கேட்கிறேன் என்று எனக்கே புரியவில்லை...

என்னை காண் என்றது இயற்கை

இயற்கையை எப்படி ரசிப்பது, அதன் இருப்புக்கு எவ்வாறு மரியாதை செய்வது என்பதை நாம் அதிகம் கற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. எஸ். ராமகிரிஷ்ணன் தான் ரசித்த இயற்கையை அவருக்கே உரிய கலை எழுத்தில் நமக்கு காட்டியுள்ளார். கொஞ்சம் கற்பனை செய்யும் ஆற்றலும் அதில் உணர்ச்சியை யேற்றகூடிய அனுபவமும் கொண்டவர்கள் எஸ்.ரா வின் கண்கள் மூலம் தரிசித்த இயற்கையை, மனிதர்களை அருகில் நின்று பார்க்கலாம். இயற்கையை ரசிக்க, அள்ளி கிரகிக்க கற்று தரும் எழுத்து..

Wonderful book. Its Small book, still a delightful book to read. Especially people who love nature & enjoy unnoticed beauties in our day to day lives. Author has shown his experience in a more simple yet powerful manner. when we read, most of us will relate the book in one or other way with our surroundings & recollect our memories when we finish it.

This book is divided into two sections: one focusing on nature and the other on the author's personal experiences.

I particularly enjoyed the second part, as the author excels in narrating events from their life with great clarity.

The nature section beautifully captures scenic landscapes through vivid descriptions.

Overall, it's an enjoyable and quick read.
