The main problem I have with this light novel series is that there's nothing to me that makes it stand out against all the others. Volume 7 had nothing to it that made it different than the rest of the books in the series, besides the appearance of the new characters towards the end and the climactic battle scene.
Isekai Mahou is okay as a series, but I can never seem to remember what happens in the novels. All of the parts of the story blend together because they're so typical of the genre, and I just can't remember which female character is who because they have no traits that make them stand out from each other (with the exception of Lefille, who I can only remember because she's small sometimes). Volume 7 appears to be a build up to a new arc, which I hope will be better than the previous few volumes.

Preparing for a new arc.
The story slow down from previous books and a lot of new info about the world is being introduced, most likely preparing the ground for a new arc. It seems the author decided to extend this series at expense of delaying the current arc, which is a shame.
