Really?
Wasted $0.99 for that? They went to hide out at a cabin, she ate some canned food, he salivated on her fresh blood, they listened to some Elvis. And repeat. Could have summarised all that into a few pages and fit them in the book #1.
Oh yeah, another cliffhanger at the end. Why am I not surprised?

This book/serial takes place right after book one *spoilers from book one to come* after being attacked and almost killed by another vampire James saved Harley but now they are not safe at James home. So both Harley and James set out to James cabin a place no one knows about. What started as a protection mission has turned into something else for James and Harley and as they get to know each other more feelings begin to grow but Harley is still not safe and James has secrets he's not telling.
I loved this one as much as book one. Could this book have been a part of book one? Yes but again this isn't really a novella it's a serial so really it's one book broken into three parts. I really hope after book three comes out(which I believe is the last one) that this is all combined into one book. I loved Harley and James just as much in this book and the story still sucked me right in. I love the premise that the humans are almost gone and the vampires rule the world but now that the humans are so rare the vampires are in danger, add to that that the vampire made food is starting to not work and I really have enjoyed this series/serial.
This book does end on another cliffhanger but the last one didn't bother me and this one didn't either. I pretty much assumed this would end at a spot we wanted it to keep going and I'm excited for whats to come after we saw how this book ended. Another thing I have really enjoyed is that I don't know how this will all end, I keep guessing but I just don't know. There are a few errors in the book but nothing big and the story and way the story is being told is enough for me to look past small errors. The nice thing as with book one is that we don't have much longer to wait for book three.

This book was incredible!! At the start of this book we discover what happened to Harley after she was brutally attacked by a vampire!! She is still human, but weak from the attack!! In order to keep her safe, James is instructed to take Harley away to a secret location that no one knows about, until it is safe to bring her into the hospital for tests for the human breeding process! The longer James and Harley are in seclusion, the harder it gets for them to ignore their attraction for one another! One night changes everything and James will do anything to protect Harley and keep her safe!! Even if it means sacrificing his own life. This works for awhile until Harley discovers the truth about what James is hiding from her! To say she is shocked, hurt and angry would be an understatement. This book ends with Harley leaving and running into someone who could change not only her fate but the fate of the vampires!! I can't wait to see how this series ends!!!

Holy Vampire!
Wow! This series always leaves me wanting more not doubt. Can’t wait for the third book! James may just have his work cut out for him.
