4.5 Once again, T. Styles has brought back some favorite characters into our lives. Good follow up to series. Ms. Wayne was & always has been a dear friend to Parade. A better friend than Parade was to herself. Storyline held my attention as I wonder if there will be more to this series. Good read
Parade really worked on my nerves in the beginning , its like was her way or the highway . Alot of the things she went through could have been avoided if she went have used her helpful resources . Also felt she should have been at the hospital more with jay and the kids . I loved that my favorite character miss wayne was back , he was truly a good friend the one person who gave it to her straight and the balance she needed . I was wrecking my brain trying to figure out what was am’rak personal vendetta was about . You have to be careful about what you do and who you do it to , you never know how that karma will come back and get you . T styles does it again she always find a way to pull you in have you think and you never know what hits you until the end . Then you left their made its over . Its always an underlying message .
And with that the series is over. I'm not sure how I feel about this book. As with all these books I have to take it all with a grain of salt but this one felt a little out there and not 'for real'. I know that doesn't make a ton of sense as nothing about these books are real but it seemed that this book was pushing it a little. This book did bring to a head Jay's, Parades and Wayne's relationship and we can only guess how that went. I am hoping there won't be another book in this series as then I feel the author will really be reaching.
This is a great story. I most definitely need to go back and read the other parts over. Very few errors, with a good flow. I have one question though... what was the card that was given to parade as a gift? I feel a part four coming because there were a lot of un answered questions. Will this be the end of Mrs. Wayne?, when did Quinn die? And most of all what happened to Jays ratchet mom? I guess we’ll find out soon. Great job as always author Styles.
I’m a huge t styles fan so I was super excited when I found out she was bringing back parade and the gang. This book lacked the normal t style excitement, the plot was boring and all over the places. I usually read t style books straight through but this book took me over two weeks to finish. Some things are better left alone and in this case these characters should have been
I gave this book five stars because it deserved it. Even after all this time you did that. As women we must truly learn to love ourselves, and not the man ,situation, or times. I'm can never truly be happy if we don't love ourselves first. If not you find yourself in situations unknown. A must read
I always recommend TStyles. One of the best to do it. The black and ugly series tells you a story of about Parade Knight. A must read guarantee you will be hooked
I gave this a three because it was just meh! I'm tired of the storyline where the dark skin girl feels inferior and someone has to show her she's worth more. This is the book to read when you're waiting for the book you want to drop
Parade never got over her insecurities...she continued to use Wendy she had to help her what she wanted...Jay's mom was forced out of control with how she treated Parade...shexwas just as bad as Parade's mom...great book but the ending requires more
I loved the 1st two books in the Black & Ugly series. Part 3 picks up years later with just as much drama as before. This book kept me pleasantly entertained from start to finish.
This book was a good read but not what I expected. I never thought that Parade would’ve so dang selfish after all this time. She was only worried about herself and not the feelings of others. I really truly felt bad for Miss Wayne trying to help your selfish friend then to lose your husband behind it was just too much for her. I wouldn’t be Parade friend every again.
