Very well written, simple to read and follow. However, be warned, this book will kill any notion of justice you once had along with its babies.

An eye-opening, brisk catalog of trials of heads of state from Charles I to the modern day. Whether or not you agree with the author’s conclusions, it will force you to examine the ultimate question of international law without its customary couching in emotive and moralistic language; namely, who is sovereign? And by what right? Or, as the author asks the reader in the concluding lines, quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
