Sammi Brighton. Uptight. Brilliant. Driven. Total master of self-control. One look at those snarky lips and I'm rock hard. Imagining all the filthy things I want to do.
Oh, did I mention? She hates my f^@%ing guts.
But that doesn't stop me. Not when she shows up at the same conference. Determined to show me up yet again.
But I know what makes Sammi tick. I'm going to make her come undone. Scream. Moan. Beg for more.
The only thing I didn't plan on? Waking up married.
Now I have to convince her of something else entirely.
I thought I could describe this book as ribald, but even that seems tame. If raw language and almost every form of sex described in detail isn’t your thing, then you may want to skip this book. There weren’t enough laughs for me to overlook all the offensive, impossible scenarios to deal with. The only redeeming factor was the enduring love Lock had for Sammi. I hung in to the end of the book to give a complete review book but I had to do that in installments because I was shaking my head so much over the raw scenes and offensive language, in the book. If this book was written for shock value, then the authors have accomplished what they set out for.
A Long Courtship For Sammi There should be a warning with this book that it is seriously funny! Sammi is one feisty young lady who is about to be married to someone called Eggbert(!?!) and she's having her hen party a few days early in Bancock and they are most assuredly sticking to ONE drink only! However, one thing leads to another and... The next day Sammi finds herself in bed with Locke who is one of her colleagues and has been secretly in love with her for over three years and really doesn't want her to marry anyone but him. All her other friends have had similarly embarrassing and awkward moments with other people. Using their phones they try to piece together what happened the night before but they're no help. This story will make you laugh and should serve as a reason why you shouldn't get rip-roaring drunk as you're never too sure about what you will or won't do. With plenty of passion to heat you up and twists and turns that could make you dizzy, The Marriage Mistake is one book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end and keep you remembering and smiling for quite some time to come. I thought this was a very clever story with unexpected twists and the consistent mischievous smile of Locke that drives Sammi wild ;) Get yourself a copy and enjoy! Sammi and her girl friends go to Bangkok ahead of the groom to celebrate before the wedding. There was supposed to be a one drink limit so they didn't get into trouble like they did last time. However once they start partying the rules go out the window. They go on a wild ride only to awake the next morning with little to no memory of what happened the night before. Sammi tosses Lock out without any of his clothes and finds her friends in different crazy ways. Becky and Liam with a monkey, Percy is handcuffed to the toilet and Misti is passed outside with a stranger. After they gather for breakfast they attempt to piece their night together with their cell phones but that doesn't help much. Can they discover what they did the night before? Will Sammi get married?
This is a crazy story where everyone is trying to find out what exactly they did they night before. You will be laughing not stop while reading this story. This is a well written and very entertaining book. All of the character make this story amazing not just the lead characters. The chemistry between Lock and Sammi is electrifying. I can't wait to read more by these authors.
I enjoyed this book so much I bought my own copy.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book from Booksprout Speechless....absolutely speechless, but in a good way. This has to be the most funniest, craziest, madcap, erotic story I have ever read. Where do I start!!!!!!! Sammi Brighton is getting married to the most idiotic man ever Eggbert!!!!!yes Eggbert, who names their child that and that’s just for starters . Off to Bangkok with her girl friends ( Percy, Becky and husband Liam and Mysti May) who are totally madcap anyway, the fun starts like you can’t even imagine. The one person she doesn’t want to see there is him..Lachlan Williams (Lock), Work colleague and a person she can’t stand ever , ever, ever...well not unless she has had tequila the the fireworks start. I have never laughed so much reading a story as I did with this one. It’s kind of like a sexy carry on film but better. Lock is just perfect and he does love Sammi but it’s getting her realise she loves him back. All I can say is, you won’t ever be disappointed reading it and the chemistry between Lock and Sammi....PHEW. VOLCANIC.
A funny & erotic story The storyline is funny, erotic & fast paced. I know it doesn’t sound possible but it is the craziest set of events that any one character to get into in one storyline. The main characters Samira, Sammi, and Lachlan, Lock, have a great dynamic. The story is set in Bangkok, Thailand. The two main characters are marine biologists. Sammi is in Bangkok to get married but a lot happens to her in the 24 hours before her wedding day. She doesn’t end up married to her original fiancé! Her and her bridal party plus Lock have some wild escapades. Lock and Sammi have some wild sexy times all over Bangkok plus there is an HEA!
Woohoo! Yet another seriously WILD ride from Natalie Knight and Daphne Dawn! Think Hangover 2. This book is off the rails and you will double over in laughter with tears streaming down your face. I absolutley loved it. Pink oubes, a humping monkey, ladyboys, off the charts sex and oh so much more!! Do not miss this book or you will kick yourself later. Too fun to pass up! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Lock = 5/5 Heroine, Sammi = 5/5 Chemistry = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 4/5 Mystery = 3/5 Action = 2/5 Darkness = 1/5 Humor = 5/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
I'm revising this a bit from what I originally posted here. This book is a train wreck. This is my first book by this author and will probably be my last. I originally quit about halfway, fed up. But like a wreck, I wanted to know how things worked out. But upon finishing this story, I'm only at 12% (there seem to be 8 other books tacked onto the end).
Sammi and her friends all get blackout drunk. Really? 5 people, all supposedly adults, getting so drunk that no one remembers what happened the night before. Lock, the only one who does remember, gets kicked out of the "orgy" hotel room buck naked, and nonchalantly walks naked back to his hotel? Granted they are in another country, still find it hard to believe. Lock seems like a nice guy, but Sammi is a bitch and there is not one thing I like about her. Or really any of her friends. And EVERYONE seems to have a penchant for public sex. I'm not a prude and love steamy sex scenes, but I don't think there was a non-public one until the very end. Outdoors, in businesses, in front of others... Not my cup of tea.
And while the alternating point of view isn't an issue for me, the constant time line flip-flop drove me nuts. Almost the entire book takes place over 2 days, while I can understand some, this was a hit much. And this could do with a bit of editing. Pick a name spelling and stick with it. And somehow Lock rips two different panties from Sammi on the same night. Cute book for the most part. I still don't like Sammi or any of her friends. And I highly doubt I will ever read another book by this author. Editing errors are my biggest pet peeve.
*4 "Christ, maybe I’ve always loved him. Maybe soulmates really do exist and fate is real, everything happens for a reason and all of this—every hateful, infuriating, insane chaotic moment—maybe all of it was building to this from the start." stars*
Okay, when I read the synopsis I had a different idea about the plot. But it still surprised me. It was a quick, witty/funny read with great characters, secondary characters and their shenanigans. Nevertheless I really enjoyed it. Loved that it was told in dual POVs, that writing just flowed and that we learned what happened that fateful night through Sammi's eyes and together with her. I love the situations the characters got themselves into.
The chemistry between Sammi and Lock was amazing. I loved their push and pull; a little enemies to lovers romance they had. The banter and interaction were incredible. Lock was perfect and I liked how he was fighting for Sammi and how Sammi in the end realized she loves him back. I loved these two together. Such a perfect match.
If you need a relaxing book this is the one for you.
Can you imagine getting drunk enough not to remember the night before and you are supposed to be marrying some guy with a really weird name. This story was hilarious it is more like a comedy that leaves you wondering what craziness will happen next. Sammi the heroine is a riot and she likes her alcohol a little too much. I swear no one in this party could hold their liquor. Not one of them knew what happened and tried to piece together the events of that night. Locke seems like the only one that seems to somewhat know what happened and he also did something crazy.and the crazy thing is Locke is secretly in love with Sammi.
Will Sammi get married to her Fiancé or did Sammi get herself into another predicament? There is also some danger with a mafia will Sammi be able to get out of this.
A great story if you are looking for a good romantic comedy with some sexiness.
I voluntarily received an arc copy through Booksprout for my honest review.
I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in this funny series about a group of friends. In this book, Sammi and Lock find themselves married after a strange night in Bangkok. After their wild night in Las Vegas in the first book which saw Becky and Liam married, the gang gather in Bangkok for Sammi's wedding to Egg. When Sammi catches Egg cheating, she turns to tequila and soon can't remember a thing. The next morning, Sammi awakes to find Lock naked in their hotel room, and her friends each in their own strange circumstance. They have to try and trace their steps and remember what happened. Lock is the only one who does remember anything, but he wants Sammi to remember on her own. This was a funny book that keeps getting stranger as it goes on. I think the best part was the monkey. Although it did get a little too silly to believe in parts, it did make for a strange read. Entertaining and not to be taken too seriously.
4 stars I have read other stories by these authors and this is not one of my favorites. It took a while to get into the storyline as it is a slow read. Sammi is in Bangkok to receive an award and get married. She and her friends along with the groom and his friends come to celebrate before the wedding. However, after partying a little too hard, Sammi wakes up with no recollection of what transpired. So, she and her friends set out to relive the previous night to get some answers. What ensues is a comedy of errors as the friends learn what they went through the night before. However, there is a secret that they may not want to uncover as it could put them in jeopardy. This story was cute. Always drink enough to never remember leads to a love she doesn't want to admit to herself. Reading about her adventures to realizing she's been missing out on the best nights of her life was a true adventure. While stories in this book were just as wonderful, one was almost painful to read. I don't remember the title, but the characters were a mafia princess and the bodyguard. The plot was undefined, and many of the surroundings changed from one chapter to another. For example, they head into a man's mansion with a well manicured lawn, only later when they escape it his apartment.
The gang is back and this time they are in Bangkok! This story is hilarious and hot! This group gets themselves in more trouble for being drunk, high and oh so irresponsible. They wake up a lot like they did when they were all in Vegas. And bit by bit, the memories of the night returned but not without drama and danger!!
I did enjoy this book, but for me, it was too much like the Vegas book. It was funny and yes, it was very erotic. The pieces of the puzzle are slowly fed to the reader and that keeps you on the edge.
The first story in the bbn book was not bad. The 7 additional stories almost made me remove the book multiple times. Simple mistakes that any one who proof read or even edited should have found. In one of the stories, they pull up to his house, but in the morning she wakes up to the view in his penthouse. Another she pulls her hands out of his c**k🤔 Another she throws on jeans and a shirt, but when he starts to undress her a page later she's wearing a pencil skirt. It made it really hard to enjoy the stories.
wow I absolutely loved this book could not stop reading it the book had me hooked from the very first page until the last page and it never lost me great writing job really a wonderful book to read and if anyone is looking for a great book to read then add this one to your list you will not be disappointed I wasn't I really loved the book
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. loved it great read
I could not finish this!!! The characters suck....I mean what's the point of reading something that makes you want immediate character changes!! Just not my cup of tea!! Both characters are way over the top and if your in to that then good for you but if you like characters who don't come off as a bunch of narcissistic, egotistical baffoons then don't waste your time here!!
This is the second book about the four friends. It was ok. Too much sex and no real feelings for the main characters too me. The ending comes too fast and to me they have not really talked about what happened. It was over the top craziness. I hope Percy's wedding week/weekend is more mature and not crazy wild. Respect for the places of worship that are listed in these stories would be nice.
I haven't laughed this hard since I read the first book in this series. It's awesome, the characters are great, the story line is a hoot and the bad guys are really bad guys.
Thanks for the awesome read and I can't wait for the next book in the series!
Wow. The heat in this book is off the charts but it's topped by the hilariousness of the situation. Loch and Sammi are the hilarious couple that gets married but she can't remember anything and goes on the trek to find out.

Lock is... a romantic. Sammi is... a wild drunk girl in a marine biologist mask? If you considet the essence of the story, it's pretty romantic. But there are cringy moments here and there, questionable events. Well, at least it ends well. Considering I want to smack all of the characters from time to time.
Wild passionate partying an huge hangovers results in marrying the right person meant for you .
A weekend in Bangkok for a wedding turns into a adventure of a lifetime as the group try to remember what really happened that night an how the bride weds a different man than the man she was suppose to marry .
Let’s just say this is an almost all female packed hen party version of Hangover the movie. Except add Liam since he’s not leaving his wife. And add Locke whose not leaving the women he loves who is not sure she wants more then the physical from him yet...
It’s funny, provocative, and omg did that happen dramatic.
I had some major problems with this book: -my usually dormant grammar nazi woke up with all the typos in the texts -the constant time switches made reading difficult -crude language and that they want at it every 3 chapters -it was supposed to be a billionaire romance but it didn't feel like one -the story is done at 14% and the rest is adds
This is a fun read. A cute, steam filled storyline grabs and keeps your interest. Characters are likable and have really good chemistry. The banter between these two is sharp and witty. Enjoyable and entertaining. I'm posting a totally voluntary, honest review after reading this book.
Interesting book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.
