Samantha Cole has just given me the best feeling in the world. You know the one...that little zip of excitement when you find a new author, and they've got the magical "thing" that makes you want to devour their back list... It's epic, right? Believe me, you will not want to put this woman's stuff down. She's one of the most remarkable new voices I've read in the world of romantic suspense and military Doms, blending smart, sexy romance with a riveting plot and unforgettable secondary characters. Though this book is the 3rd in the series, it completely stands on its own as a fantastic second-chance-at-love tale, featuring a beautiful tortured hero and the woman who never left his heart and soul. While Kat and Boomer's love story is the heart of the book, there's a suspense story woven in that definitely keeps one turning the pages. I'll definitely be one-clickin' the rest of this series!

I have said it before and I will say it again, I Love the men of Trident Security!
The men of Trident Security are all ex navy seals and protection is one of their specialties, but usually Ben " Boomer"
Michaelson is not the one to meet new clients first; that usually falls to Ian or Devon . Which is why Boomer is more than curious as to why a women he does not know "Kate Zimmerman" asked for him specifically. The shock to Boomers system when he realizes who she is causes this big bad seal to do something he did not even do when injured by an RPGs , faint dead away !
Coming to consciousness to Ian's face has him questioning if he really saw her, it could not be his Katerina, she has been dead for twelve years ! Shock leads to anger that. The women he has loved since before the seals, his best friends sister Katerina Maier is alive.
Katerina and her father had been in witness protection, that his best freind , Alex and their mother were actually killed in the car accident , as it turned out her father had been working as an accountant and aomeofhis customers turned out to be involved in criminal ventures but one that he could not turn a blind eye to, abduction of young women and selling them into slavery.
Katerina has come to them now because her father passed away from cancer but now , her apartment has been broken into and ransacked, then the feeling of being followed. Though Boomer may be angry at Katerina , he is determined token his women safe, and the simple fact that he is thinking of her as his again is telling, he never stopped loving her.
Katerina, feels horrible for just showing up in Benny's life again, but she never stopped loving him , hell no man ever measured up. Leaving her still a virgin in her late twenties and hoping once Benny is over his anger and she is out of danger they can start over again.
The road ahead for these two is filled with danger , and re- discovery , Ben is not the boy he was twelve years ago,he is not even sure how she will react to his lifestyle , him being a Dom, it is an important part of his life but if she cannot accept it , he will make changes, he feels that much for her!
Luckily for him his kitten is willing to be adventurous! Which leads to us readers having one hot spicy book to read!

Hot military men, feisty females, Dom and submissive' s, danger and sexy times wrapped up in amazing stories make this a 4.5 star box set. If any or all the above interest you, then checkout this new author I found and enjoy some romantic suspense filled books.

This story is the 3rd installment into the Trident Security series. It can be read by itself, but is recommended to be read in order for reader enjoyment.
Ben Michaelson AKA "Boomer" used to be best friends with Alex. Over a decade ago, he was also in love with his best friends sister. He has never moved on, since no other woman has made him feel like she did.
Katerina Maier, Alex's younger sister was completely in love with Ben. Only he believed her entire family died in a fatal car accident. Only she and her father were alive, and in witness protection.
When she walks back into Ben's life and Trident Security asking for his help, he cannot believe it is her there before him. It is like a dream literally coming true to have the love of his life - come back to life.
Getting to know one another all over again as the grown up adults they now are proves to be quite the challenge. A challenge Ben welcomes as he is excited to have her back. This book has something for everyone. I loved the banter, and the gang from Trident is back! Such a fun read.

I am a fan of Samantha A Cole's Trident Security Series. The Sexy Six Pack men have won my heart. They are so strong, sensitive and loving. They protect their own and those of their brothers as well. Who wouldn't feel safe and loved in their presence. Katerina may have lost everything at one time but she never forgot her 1st love and when she has no one to turn to after being in the Witness Protection Program she goes in search of help from Ben. Ben has never found another love, he is shocked when Katerina shows up. He still has feelings for her, but he is not the same man he was when she disappeared. He may not be the man she needs but he can't fight his need to claim her and the life he wants. Will they be able to remain safe and keep her out of danger? A must read. Can't wait for the rest of the series.

Wow! This is the third book in this series. Ben ‘Boomer’ Michaelson is another guy in the Sexy Six Pack. Boy does Boomer gets an surprise of his life when the Trident's new client walks in. Katerina knew Boomer when they was teenagers. There was an accident that Boomer thought she that was gone. Now Kat needs Boomers help to survive. This story will have you hooked with every page you turn. Can they put the past to rest and move forward with their life? This is a MUST READ!!! Keep up the awesome work! Can't wait to read your next book.

There is so much gendered language in these books and a whole thing about how women crying is basically so cringey for men and I don’t like any of the characters and everyone is written like a caricature. The ONE thing I liked in this book is when the sexually inexperienced FMC gives the MMC a blow job for the first time and does not enjoy swallowing and spits it back out. That was surprisingly realistically written. Other than that, I didn’t much care for anything else.

After having the fantastic opportunity to read book 1 in the Trident Security series, I've jumped at and loved the following 2. Each book is a stand alone and introduces us to a different member or this extremely hot group of men, affectionately known as the sexy six pack. So this time it is Benjamin, Ben, Boomer, Benny Michaelson story. I have to admit after following Devon and Ian, Ben had some serious shoes to fill and I have to say, he exceeded my expectations gaining him and Waiting for Him a very well deserved 5 stars.
Ben had his world shattered 12 years ago, when his best friend Alex, and his family were all killed in a horrible car accident. Not only did he lise hus best friend but Alex's little sister, whom had stolen Ben's heart only hours earlier. Katerina Maier had all but given herself to Ben, but with his impending Armed forces training, he asks her to wait for him. 32 hours later everything changed.
Now Ben is a team member of Trident Security, and former Navy Seal he uses his skills for all sorts of security jobs. Along with Trident, he is a Dom at "The Covenant" a very private club in the confines of the compound. While on the job he is set up for a meeting with a Kate Zimmerman, thinking she is a past sexual conquest, Ian sits in on his meeting with the strange woman to find out what she really wants from Ben. Ben never imagined walking into the room and seeing a ghost.... It litterally knocks him out.
Katerina (Kat) Maier, was removed from civilization when her mother and brother were killed in a car accident. Her father and herself were saved and placed into witness protection. She lost her real love that day, but she had never forgotten Benny, her Benny. Now 12 yrs on, her father has passed away for real this time, and she is in danger once again. Not knowing who to turn to, she goes to the one man she can trust, Benjamin Michaelson. Never expecting Ben's response to her returning from the dead, she certainly didn't expect his anger towards her. Knowing Ben will have to let Kat go again after her life is no longer in danger, he uses all of his power to stay away from het, but she is so sexy now, and it is only a matter of time before they give into their attraction, but not before Ben explains who he really is now. Very quickly a quick fuck is not going to cut it, real feelings return for both Ben and Kat and they declare their love for each other.
But this will only work if Ben and his Trident team along with "holy crap hotness" Carter & any hi flying FBI team members they must find who wants Kat dead and why. This begins the start of a jigsaw puzzle of Kat's 2 lives, and her father's greed or stupidity, jury is still out on that one. Discovering it is a drug cartel tracking her down to get what her father stole from them, when it is clear, they will stop at nothing to get what they want and removing Kat permanently is not a problem either. Ben and his team must take everything on to save this woman, Ben's woman.
This is where I really enjoy Samantha Cole's writing, she has the power of extremely hot male leads, headstrong female's and some hot damn melt your panties sex.. but she has the talent of creating a who dunnit with just enough mystery to keep you page turning.
While contending with returning to her former life and showing up at family's homes as the ghost they never expected, can Ben and the Trident team, save her and remove the threat permanently and can Ben and Kat return to lovers and get that happy ever after that was taken away so abruptly years before?
This was beyond all my expectations, I'm now a huge Samantha Cole and Trident Security fan... I'm excited to see Devon and Kristen and Ian and Angie come back into the story along with the other Trident boys, and one that only deserves his own introduction - Master Carter, this man is hot as hell... he'll set you on fire, his presence during the story is so extremely sizzling. But not out doing Ben, and his dominant nature the whole team and setup is awesome. Loved it!

With the arrival of a ghost from his past, Boomer finds himself face to face with the woman who held his heart many years ago. But when she reveals the reason why she's seeking the help of the security company, in particularly Benjy's, he will have to face those emotions which he thought were buried, hoping this time he can save the girl in more ways that one.
A gripping and emotional story, full of romance and passion, it has all the trades we have come to know and love of this exceptional writer.

I binge read all of the Trident books, I couldn't put them down! Complex characters, well-researched plot lines, and fantastic writing makes for a dynamic excellent series!

What does it take to make a hardcore former Navy Seal faint? Have the woman that he loved come back from the dead.
That's what happens when Kate Zimmerman aka Katerina comes back into his life after she was supposed to have died with the rest of her family 12 years earlier.
In this instance, love was a strong wrong for me because they were just becoming when she "died" and love wasn't necessarily a part of that. If it was it was unacknowledged love. Then once Boomer gets over being lied to, like she had a choice, he's still in love with her and she him and they embark on this mission and sexual awakening (of her, since she is a 29 year old virgin).
Anyway, Kat needs help trying to figure out who is after her and Trident Security is up to bat. Really at the end of the day it should be Carter Security, because he always manages to come in and save everyone's asses one way or another.
Now, I'm waiting for one of these men to actually fall for a woman already in the lifestyle. They've all been "lucky" to find their SOs and have them be curious enough to give BDSM a chance, but that wouldn't always be the case. Either someone needs to fall for a woman who is already a part of the BDSM community or someone needs to fall for someone who is not as easily swayed to give this a go. That part of it has just been too perfect, which makes it a bit unbelievable to me.

However twelve years later a ghost showed at his work requesting a meeting with him, and Ben finds out that Kat has been alive this whole time!
Kat has been forced into hiding for the last twelve years. Now it seems like witness protection no longer protects her and kat knew there is only one man who can protect her, the only man she has ever loved. Ben.
While trying to figure out what secret her father hides Kat and Ben find themselves rebuilding their relationship and falling in love once again. Only this time the stakes are much higher.
I adored Kat and Ben's relationship. From how they got together when they were teens, to Ben's reaction's when he found put Kat was alive (hilarious!), and the way they tried to build their relationship and fell in love with each other.
The mystery aspect also added a thrilling part to the book and overall it was a lovely and hot ride!

I first read this series years ago and I've enjoyed re-reading the stories and getting to know these characters all over again. This is a second chance romance where Boomer thought his first love was dead, when truly, Kat was in Witness Protection the whole time. They've both gotten older, but while she stayed quiet and under the radar, Boomer became something else entirely. They're reunited due to danger to Kat and once he got over the deception, he's all in to protect her. But he doesn't know if he's good enough for her or that she can accept who he is now. I loved that these two knew each other before, but truly got to know each other in a whole new way. And you have to wonder if they would have stayed together before (young love and all that), but now they're both more mature and totally different people, but ultimately what drew them together is still there. Lots of action and spice and a great HEA.

However, Ben discovers that all that was a lie, and that Kat and her father had been in Witness Protection all this time. 4.5 per questo terzo capitolo della Trident Security! Non vedevo l'ora di leggerlo per scoprire qualcosa in più sui personaggi che compongono questa grande e allargata famiglia. Non sono rimasta per niente delusa, anche se ammetto di aver sentito la mancanza di quel brio che avrebbe potuto rendere perfetto il romanzo. Ben & Kat sono stati comunque qualcosa di unico.

OMG with boomer he is just to hot to handle a true gentleman .. i love how he is so gentle and sexy at the same time and his love for his kitten is breathtaking i also love the way they love eacheother how they interact.. their chemistry .. i just have to say this series is one of my favorite the Doms are truely hot and all of them are true gentleman's the story is very captivating ... i like Kat she really is a very nice lady not a drama queen.. and there is no cliffhanger .. plus the BDSM is truly real samatha knows what she writing ...

Even though I enjoyed Ben and Kat's story, it didn't quite catch me like book 1 and 2 did in this series.
I don't really know what was bugging me but there was something different about this book.
Nevertheless, I totally enjoyed reading it and dove into the next book right away.

Do I even need to give this stars? Seriously you all know by now how much I flip my lid over this group of men. More than men; flipping bad ass sniper shooting, SEAL team, rescue me any day orgasmic MEN. Seriously, Samantha has the women in Tampa searching for this “compound” Im sure. Heck Im down if anyone wants to jump in the car and drive. I’ve got night vision goggles and plenty of SO equipment so lets move out anytime.
So the first two books gave us Devon “Devil Dog” Sawyer and Ian Sawyers stories. You don’t necessarily need to read the first two books as Samantha gives you plenty of insight into who is who and why they are gathered as they are but you are insane if you don’t. In Waiting For Him we get Ben “Boomer” Michaelson’s story. If you did read His Angel – Book 2 at the end you were given some insight into a meeting with a new client that leaves Boomer flat on his ass passed the hell out; which has NEVER happened EVER before in his life.
A few days before Ben was to head out to basic his best friend Alex Maier was killed. His entire family was taken in a horrific car accident. Not only had his best friend lost his life but also Alex’s sister Katerina. Just the night prior Katerina and Ben had turned a corner and gone where they never had intentions of going. She was Alex’s sister … off limits but Ben and she had decided they were meant to be together. Ben attended her entire family’s funeral. He had never fully recovered. Ben’s heart was demolished that day so why in the hell was Katerina sitting at the conference table in Trident’s office and where had she been all these years?
Katerina didn’t know where else to go. She had someone watching Ben all those years she was gone so he knew where he worked and what he did. She knew the man he was and how he had served his country proud. Alone she had no one else to turn to. Seeing Ben and his reaction to her maybe she made a mistake.
This is a wham bam packed thriller ladies. Im not going to say that Ben is overly pleased to see Katerina but Im not going to tell you that the sparks don’t fly either. I LOVED this book simply because well. one its Trident and two we get to meet Ben’s parents. It was so awesome getting to connect a family unit with the boys especially because of who Ben’s dad is. You will have to read that. Im not telling if you don’t already know but he is a key player in all of these guys lives. Along with the story line of course there are so many small things Samantha writes into her pages. Things like Beau; Ian’s dog and his role in this release; an insight into Ben’s parent’s relationship upon having a conversation with Katerina concerning what their future could have been or what they were pondering if things had turned out different. Those are real life situations; real life events that every military family endures. I LOVE THAT for so many personal reasons.
Samantha not only having her background but also does her research making her stories the most realistic as she can. And yes I can 100 percent say she does this. Mixing all of this together you get a brilliant series that is not only exciting in “sexy time” but also suspense and climatic (heh heh) explosions firing right off the pages into your hands.
If you haven’t picked these up you need to. This is hands down one of the best series out there. And yes … CARTER .. HE’S BACCCCCKKKKKKKK! Boom baby!
Go grab it up – all of them if you haven’t because the next releases are going to be even more smokin’ in the panty department. Samantha is the devil though. She teases us with Nick and a few others that are still hanging on the sidelines waiting to come into Trident. Dang you all … I would read a book center on Beau the dog from this woman. This series .. there is still Carter, Brody, Marco, Jake, Mitch, Mike; yeah Im putting Mike in there; so see I could make this go on for another several rounds of installments …. I don’t know who is next but I do know eventually Carter will come swooping in I believe in the last installment. Samantha correct me if Im wrong. And hey .. give a girl a clue … next up … ????? ….. Trident fan girls go click it up …

This is the third book in the Trident Security Series and it can be read as a stand alone. The author does recap some of the first two books, but this reader would still recommend you read the books in order so you can fully understand the sexy six-pack’s connections. This book focuses on Ben “Boomer” Michaelson from this team. Not only is this a hot and steamy romantic suspense novel, it is a story of second chances.
At Boomer's good-bye party because he was leaving for boot camp in a week, his friendship with his best friend’s sister, Katerina Maier, changes from friendship to so much more. Katerina has had feelings for Boomer for many years and it wasn’t until he takes her to prom that he realises he has the same for her. Being this is his best friend’s sister he doesn’t say anything until his good-bye party when they both confess that they love each other. Kat promises to wait for him. Then just a couple of days later, Boomer’s world is shattered when the entire Maier family dies in a car crash.
After his years of service as a Navy Seal and a knee injury, he finds himself joining the Trident Security firm. Now twelve years later, Boomer has moved on with his life, but has never found anyone that has held his heart like his Katerina. His latest case is a major shock and one that has him seeing ghosts. The way the author writes this is great, from Boomer’s reaction to how the past and present are blended together make you understand their emotional reactions to the shock of their reunion.
Katerina has no one else in her life that she can trust and has been spending the last twelve years in Witness Protection. Everyone that she loved and trusted is dead, except for Boomer, so she turns to him and his team for help. Boomer and the team set out to find out who is trying to kill Katerina. Will Boomer and Kat survive and will they be able to have a life together like they dreamed of twelve years ago ? Will she accept Boomer and how he has changed ?
Yes, we discover early on who is after Kat, but to find what they think Kat knows is a mystery and there is involvement with others outside the team. They traveled out of Tampa to other states in their search for answers to this mystery. The focus was on the team and the assignment of protecting the client, Kat. Also, I loved how Boomer's parents were involved in this. The intervention was a great event. Of course, there are the typical mistakes that couples like Kat or Boomer make. It has you yelling at them, but then there are the times you are on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. There were things that Kat personally had going on that was focused on, but the issues seem to be left unanswered.
This book did pull me in quicker than the first two books and I found it hard to put it down, so I’m disappointed I was not able to give it a 5 star rating. It could be just this reader who felt that there was a part of the story that was left unanswered and there are a few errors like extra or incorrect words in sentences which was distracting. I enjoyed that the theme seemed to be that the members of the Trident Security firm were more than pretty faces. They took their assignments seriously. All in all it is as if Boomer and Kat need a novella to finish their story. It was great seeing the team working together again and I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series and to meet the rest of the team.

O.M.G!! It's the first thought that comes to my mind for typing this review. How does Samantha Cole do it?! What an amazing author. I started reading this series and with this being book #3, I just can't believe Ms. Cole can still have me hooked! From the beginning to the end there's always something going on. Never a dull moment. This book has a great story-line with details, sexy men, romance and steamy-hot sex scenes. Samantha Cole also writes with emotion. I smile , make a sad face, and sometimes I just want to jump right into my kindle and have fun too ;)

When Ben sees Kat standing there, he faints. So Ben and his teammates help he out. Ben realizes that he loves Kat with all his heart and he would do anything including stop his lifestyle, but he saw her reading Kristen's book and she had some interest in the BDSM lifestyle. So one day he showed her The Convent. Ben calls Kat- Kitten. Then the story continues and the plot gets better so your going to have to one-click this book to find out as I don't want to spoil it.

"Kitten, there is nothing about you I would change. Your eyes are so expressive, sometimes I can't stop looking at them, especially when you laugh."

Ben "Boomer" Michaelson is not the settling down type. When he was in high school he thought he found the girl of his dreams but her and her family died in a car crash and part of Boomer has never gotten over her. When he receives a request to have a meeting with Kate Zimmerman at Trident he is baffled to who that is.
Kate Zimmerman, aka Katerina Maier, never knew the trouble her dad was in when their car was forced off the road and her life changed forever. When she knows someone is after her she goes to the only person she believes can help her - Ben Michaelson.
Ben vows to try and figure out who is after Kat and why. His heart still belongs to her but he has changed so much since she has been gone and is not sure if Kat will like the new him. When the Russians strike will Kat be able to forgive herself for the events or will she push everyone away and run?
This has been my favorite story so far! I love the back story on these two and how they are going about trying to figure out why the Russians are after Kat. I also loved that the story was really realistic with the sex and not just jumping into the BDSM.
I really liked Boomer in the previous books and this one definitely shows us how much he truly cares about Kat and the strong relationship he has with his team and with his parents. Although he is strong we definitely get to see a vulnerable side, especially towards the end.
Kat is so strong with everything she has been through and I can't imagine what she had to go through only to discover that it wasn't over. She is vulnerable and I can understand her reluctance to get involved with many people with not really knowing who to trust. I completely get her actions at the end and I can't say that I wouldn't do the same thing.
Carter is my hero and I really need the author to write a book on him!! His character has been growing on me since the very first book and now I believe he could be one of my favorites. I love his attitude, swagger and knack for being at the right place at the right time. I can't wait to read about the woman who is able to tame him down!
This series is very well developed and I love the continuation of the story so that we are never leaving a character behind and are really getting to know them! I can't wait to read the next one!

I enjoyed this story it grip me more than the others as benny grieved for the lost of kat when she died 12yrs earlier then boom shes in his office after the shock he finds out whats happen and agrees to help her, hes also fighting the feelings that never left him he never replaced her never really moved on so all the feelings are still there. Again this is from both point of veiws and the feeling kat had for benny are also still there.
As normal theres bdsm, love and a good plot which adds to the excitement.
Another brilliant book to the collection.

This was a great read! This is the first book I read in the Trident Series and I absolutely loved it! I loved the suspense, banter, second chances and everything else!
This book is Ben Michaelson AKA “Boomer” story. When he was in high school he had found the love of his life, Katrina Maier. His best friend is also her brother, Alex Maier. Katrina and Ben were so in love and Ben was about to leave for basic training after graduation. Kat promises to wait for him when he returns.
3 days later Ben’s life is turned upside down. Katrina and her family were in a fatal car wreck. Heartbroken and devastated Ben has no choice but to go through life keeping his love of his life and his best friend kept in his heart forever.
Several years pass and Ben and his friends have a company Trident Security as well as a hot, sexy, BDSM, VIP club. Ben is at work discussing stuff with his boss when his next client walks in.
She walks in and he faints…
What happens when you see a ghost? Or see the love of your life staring back at you? WTH???
This is when the book takes off and you can’t put it down! Ben is feeling conflicted. There is so many questions and feelings he’s not sure of. He’s mad, sad, surprised, relieved and so much more. Before Ben and Kat can hash it out, she is there because she needs Ben’s help and protection.
I don’t want to get too much into the storyline because you MUST read it to experience it. I will say watching these two after 12 years was explosive. Picking up where they left off and new experiences too. It was hot! I loved the banter between these two. I also can’t forget all his brothers at Trident Security. Not only are they HOT, SEXY and ALPHA they are freaking funny. But not everything is so sweet and pretty. There are challenges and loose ends that happen that keep you on the edge of your seat.
I definitely recommend this book and I now have to go read the other books in this series. The writing is great and I loved all the characters. I was able to connect with them and I’m looking forward to the next book!

The fabulous Trident Security series continues with Boomer's story in Waiting For Him. If you read the previous book in the series you will know that he was understandably shocked when his long 'dead' high school girlfriend turned up in the team's office asking for their help. Twelve years ago Kat and her father had to go into hiding when her father's dodgy dealings led to the deaths of her mother and brother. Believing that the whole family had died, Boomer never really recovered from the loss of the girl he loved. Fast forward to the present day and Kat's life is in danger, and she needs the help of Boomer and his ex-seal teammates. What follows is a roller coaster ride of ups and downs as the sexy six pack try to find out who wants Kat dead.
This is another outstanding story from Samantha Cole, who has become one of my all time favourite authors. Waiting for Him was a real page turner, the suspense part of the storyline had me on the edge of my seat, and the romance was both hot and heartwarming. I've really come to care for this sexy group of Doms and their sassy subs, and Kat and Boomer are no exception. Kat had been through so much, I really don't know how she came out of it so strong. And Boomer was just dreamy - caring, protective, dominant and tough but also charmingly vulnerable. Their story was sweet and touching but also scorching hot! As always the author's BDSM scenes were very well written and extremely sexy.
I do love the Trident Security team, the banter between them is always hilarious, and you can really see how much they care for each other. I must admit though that my favourite Dom is not part of the Trident team, but is the super hot black ops spy, Carter. Please Ms Cole can we have Carter's story soon?! I don't know when the next book in this series is out, but I really hope it's soon as I'm absolutely addicted to the Trident Security team! Five stars!
