Nearly two dozen girls are found dead in a shipping container on the shores of New York City. No one knows where they came from or how they got there. But one man is compelled to find out why they died, no matter the cost...

Ex-NYPD Detective Damien Drake has no business meddling in a police case, especially with what happened on the last one.

True story: I used to cut up bodies. No, not for fun, you sickos–for work. After reaching the age of majority and fleeing the clutches of an overprotective mother, I went to university like a good boy.

More than a decade later and an alphabet soup of letters after my name, I found myself looking down the double-chamber of a microscope at an eyeball. Feeling ironically introspective, I decided that it was time for a change.

After seventy plus novels and more than a million copies sold, I’ve found my true calling, one that also includes a plethora of letters. Hopefully you see something in my catalog that you like, something to feast your eyes on.

I also have two spooky podcasts that are appropriate for ALL ages, so long as you like to be scared: P.T. Logan's Five Minutes of Terror and Camp Fear. Both are FREE and available on all podcast platforms. For MATURE audiences, I've created two fiction podcasts, Nightmare Residue and Bad Priest.

Wild Ride!!

Oh my WOW! This was a wild ride with Drake and it seems like it is just the beginning! What I love about Drake is his love for the people of NYC. He wants to get the bad guys doing the really bad things. The police should be someone you trust and can call for help. He knows that isn’t happening.

Too many dirty in NYPD and you can’t trust many. If you don’t play for Ken you will be gone. Drake put a big dent into things but everything catches up. But he has more friends on his side than when he was kicked out. Veronica was amazing and she kicked ass! She knew Drake was coming!! Drake isn’t going to quit but I hope he starts taking better care of himself!

I love Beckett…..the M.E. that murders lol. I find such humor in him. I’m like cheering him on…..am I crazy haha!

Patrick Logan has an amazing and creative way to tell his stories about these characters. I’m so hooked!

Get ready for the fifth installment in the bestselling Detective Damien Drake series!
The body of a young girl is found, her body so stuffed with heroin that she's more of a drug sausage than a drug mule.

Triple D Investigations has no business meddling in a police case, especially with what happened with the last one. But when the victim's sister shows up at their doorstep with a horrific tale of drug smuggling, human trafficking, and links to a dangerous cartel, there's no way they can turn her down... can they?

Notes: I always look forward to the Damien Drake Series, each installment gets better and better. A must read, one that you won't be able to put down.

Human Trafficking

This Damien Drake book touches on a very relevant subject in today's society. Ex NYPD detective Damien Drake becomes embroiled in helping a young girl find the people who left her "fellow" sisters to die in a storage container. We are reunited with call girl Victoria who adds her help to find these people. Poor Drake just can't catch a break, he means well but he's rather like a bull in a China shop. I've read all the books about Drake and I can't wait to see how he gets out of the next big jam.

I love this series!!!

I love Damien Drake. He pretty much has a heart of gold and wants nothing but justice and good for everyone. He may stumble a lot because he's a bit graceless and archaic, but he always gets the job done. I can't help but love him and feel sorry for him as his world continues to crumble around him as he avenges those who have been wronged. I could read this series forever.

So good I finished in just a few hours!

This is one of the top three best thriller series I have ever read, and I'm so glad I found them. I am onto the next, and then the second in Chase Adams series. Ya see I started with the first book in Chase's series, and then read all of Drake's because I needed to know how it all began.

Can’t stop reading this series

This author is now one of my favorite and the stories just keep getting better. I keep hoping Drake will catch a break somewhere along the way but I guess we will just have to wait and see I also hope Drake puts an end to the snakes eating the eyeball too. I highly recommend this book.

Human Traffic

Patrick, you keep writing and I'll keep reading. As were all the other books in this series, this is another example of the great writing of Patrick Logan. Another must read and that's all I am going to say except start reading ASAP.

Human Traffic

This is a great series . It's a shame you have to wait to find out what happens. This is the only bad part about series that doesn't have an end to them. You have to wait to find out the end . Only downside.

Drake

When you have an alcoholic former detective that only tries to do his best, that is Drake. His only focus is getting the bad guys. He does a great job of it. I recommend this series. See you I am off to read the next book.

Very much enjoy the Drake series. Keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next, even though you know he will either get beat up or beat someone else. Can't wait for the next book in the series!

Very exciting and unpredictable

I started with the Chase Adams series then went to the Damien Drake series to see how her character started. Now I'm hooked on both.

Loved the book but hated all the grammatical errors! Wish the proofreaders did a better job editing Patrick’s books because they all suffer from way to many errors.

Detective Drake

As many of Patrick Logan's characters, Drake is an extremely damaged individual. But the story is interesting and well told

This one does the job it needs to do, which is move the characters along in their development and individual arcs, but the plot in which they were set was... Meh.

What happens when you find out that good friends may not be good people? What do you do when the lines between good and evil start to overlap?
