A USA Today bestseller! Dad the good, the bad, and the terrible ― the perfect funny Christmas gift for dads and pun-lovers alike! With over 600 knee-slappers, head-shakers, and groan-makers, Dad Jokes is packed with enough witty quips and cheesy-but-grate jokes for even the most embarrassing of dads. Perfect for the father experts, new dads, grandpas, and all the fathers-to-be, this bestselling joke book is the ideal laugh-out-loud gift from any daughter, son, wife, or partner that celebrates how great (and terrible) their jokes truly are! But remember―you don't have to be a dad to tell dad jokes! Be prepared for the obvious, silly, and awkward in this massive collection of the best groan-worthy dad jokes around, including clever quips, overly literal dialogue, and punny one-liners. A great holiday stocking stuffer, white elephant gag gift, or gift for Father's Day, birthdays, and more! These jokes may be on porpoise, but they whale definitely make you I used to hate facial hair, but then it started growing on me. "Dad, can you put my shoes on?" "No, I don't think they'll fit me." I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. It's impossible to put down! What's the hardest thing about learning to ride a bicycle? The road.
Dad jokes galore! If you have young kids (3rd grade or below), this book has plenty of knee-slapping material to make them smile or giggle. But for older kids and adults, the jokes seem a bit too cringe-worthy. Typical jokes in this book run along the lines of, "I used to be a member of a secret cooking society, but they kicked me out for spilling the beans." Many others are just silly puns (which are groaners at best), such as "You can't keep secrets in a bank because there are too many tellers."
Bottom line... this book is perfect for anyone in need of silly material to entertain small kiddos, but not the best other audiences.
This is going to sound odd concerning a book of Dad jokes: Meh.
I mean, they were perfect Dad jokes, don't get me wrong, best sipped, not taken en masse. But when the best one is a retread of a joke from UHF, which was probably a retread of a joke from somewhere else?
This made such a fun stocking stuffer for my husband and was very fitting as he was going through a "Dad Joke" phase. He is not a reader at all and loved this book! He would spend his time reading the jokes and pocketing them for later!
Verdict: A fun collection of lame jokes, many I hadn't heard before, and many I'm saving for just the right opportunity to get eye-rolly groans from the kiddos.

Each week, we establish a theme for our family Zoom meeting. Last week's theme: Bad Jokes. Hubs and I killed it with the help of this great little book!
Absolutely terrible. Really, really awful. Exactly what I was looking for as a gift for my nephew, a "faux pa" who tells the corniest jokes. Hahaha! I think I am really, really going to regret giving it to him.
I thought about a dozen of these were funny enough to get a laugh, quite a few were funny enough for a smile but most were pretty dull. I think my daughter is regretting getting me this
When it comes to dad jokes... this book hits the mark (not sure if that's a good thing, lol). My son got me this book for Father's Day in 2018 and I marked it as read on his birthday in 2019. I love and miss that kid.
