She struggled because someone had it out for her at her college job. After achieving her professor position, her phd and presiding her career she was now in limbo. Forced to look for work she applied to the nanny position.
She loved Penny right away and James was an attraction she tried to avoid.
This short story is cute, it has great potential, but it felt incomplete.
Very little dialogue, very little history on what caused her trouble, with a personality like hers it's surprising she didn't have more people to stick up for her. I also think the book needed to show more time passing, it didn't clue in enough. I feel it also needed James pov like the amazon synopsis did.
This is a cute quick read, about 4% of the book. I only read the first story, "Charming Single Dad". While the author gave us an in-depth look into the Teacher/Nanny's life, she neglected to divulge any information about the Single Father/Billionaire. An added chapter on his life would have been great. It could have brought the book together a little better.
