WHEN EVIL IS THE ENEMY, POWER IS A GIRL’S BEST FRIEND.Book 2 of 3 in the Soulkeepers Reborn TrilogyNow that she’s fully accepted her role, Hope takes up the mantle of Healer to lead a new team of untrained Soulkeepers. Repurposing Revelations to be a training ground won’t be easy, not when the source of its power has been disrupted, and the only woman who knows the island’s secrets is on her deathbed.

Time isn’t on Hope’s side. Lucifer is on the move, injured and unable to return to Hell. He’s found a way to amass power by consuming human souls. Worse, if he grows strong enough to get his hands on an ancient weapon before Hope does, everything the Soulkeepers fought for could be undone.

Sinister plots, unlikely allies, and old temptations plague the new team. Can Hope’s promise lead them to victory? Or will her inexperience doom them all?

Hope has accepted her role as the Healer and leader of their group of Soulkeepers. She is hoping to adapt Revelations into a training ground for her group and runs into trouble when the power that keeps the island going is disrupted.

Lucifer wants to take over the world but is unable to access his power from Hell. Instead, he finds another way to consume souls, stay off the radar and build his power. Both teams are looking for a weapon that could tip the balance of power their way.

The second book in this trilogy brings about some new friendships and tests some old ones. Ching does a wonderful job of connecting the original Soulkeepers series with this new band of misfits. Each youth brings something to the table that you hope you have within yourself. Look for the final book in the trilogy, Lucifer’s Pride to see how it all ends.

Twist and Turns

In true soul keeper fashion you never know what will happen or where you will go. You think you know this is what will happen and you got it figured out then the next thing you know you are a 180 degrees from where you thought. With all of GP Ching’s book they are all addictive and suck you in to the worlds she creates from the SoulKeepers, to the Grounded Trilogy, and now SoulKeepers Reborn and Roots and Wings. I can’t wait to read the next book in the SoulKeepers reborn Lucifer’s Pride

Another must read for Soulkeepers fans.
There are a lot of unexpected plot twists and turns which keep readers guessing.
Overall a good addition to the Soulkeepers series of books.
Some of the characters have been given far more involved storylines than the previous book & the battle between dark and light is far from won.

Looking forward to the next book to see how things progress.

Best in Series so far!

The first book in this series was tough to get through as it seemed the whole book was the set up too this book. Now this book was full of action and suspense just the other Soulkeepers series. If you loved the original series you will love this book.

I am a huge Soulkeeper fan. I’ve read most of GP Ching’s books and have really enjoyed her writing style. That said, I enjoyed this book. When Liam was introduced things really heated up. I was constantly trying to figure him out, thinking “Ah! I’m onto you” only to realize I was incredibly wrong. The whole time! The writer did a great job keeping me on my toes, in turn, holding my interest. I loved the preview of book 3 and am glad it’s coming so soon after book 2.
