I received an ARC for my honest review.
This is book 2 in the dirty justice trilogy. You must read book 1 in order to understand what is going on in the book. This book blew me away!!! I've been a huge fan of NE Henderson since more than lies. she is amazing at wild twists in books. This book is no different. There were a few really interesting twists, we were introduced to some new characters. I really couldnt tell if I loved or hates Drago until the very end of this book. I can't say much without giving it away but the twist at the end is incredible! this is by far my favorite NE Henderson book to date. incredible! I can't wait for th final book in the trilogy. So many unanswered questions! Ahhh amazing

Five CAPTIVATING stars!!!
I was kept hanging on the edge of my seat when Dirty Blue ended, and I have been patiently waiting for this book. Dirty War picks up right where Dirty Blue ended and each page is captivating. The chemistry between Brianna and Drago is off the charts!! My mind was blown with the twist and turns of this story took me on. And let me tell you, I did not see that twist at the end coming!! N.E Henderson has once again let her talent for story telling and writing shine through. Well done Nancy. I wish I could give this book 10 stars.

Audio Review:
N E Henderson is a relatively new author to me although I have listened to narrator Charley Ongel before. This is a trilogy and NOT a stand alone, so be prepared for it to end on a cliffhanger. You will need to have read, book one Dirty Blue before listening to this one and also listen or read book three Dirty Sin to get the conclusion.
Another raw, gripping suspense story that was just as captivating as the first book in the series. There is plenty of action, twists and turns which will have you reeling along with passion and romance as Bri and Drago are torn apart by circumstance.
This book was well written, emotional and at times was a roller coaster of a listen. I cannot wait to listen to the conclusion to see what NE Henderson has in store.

Dirty War is the second book in the Dirty Justice Series.
This book is so well written and so full of emotions it will take you on a journey that's heartbreaking, gutwrenching, nail biting, suspenseful, loving and I even wanted to kick a few asses a time or two. Bri is one tuff detective and a woman on a mission to bring back Gabriel a little boy whom she has grown to love who was kidnapped by a drug lord. She will stop at nothing to rescue him and get revenge for her loss. Drago and Bri's relationship comes out and complicates things for them and her job. Just when you think you know who the players are in the story and what and how they act and why WHAM ....NE Henderson ups and changes things. Bravo absolutely loved this book can't wait to see what happens next. Five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Dirty War is book 2 in the dirty justice series and it is so so good I read it in one sitting! This book is a page turner filled with mystery and suspense with a little heartache and lots of secrets. While I love both Bri and Drago, they both drove me crazy with their choices and actions. I was on a constant emotional rollercoaster ride with these two! I think what I loved the most about this book was the unexpected twists and turns and the huge bomb that was dropped at the end! I loved the direction this second book took and can not wait to find out what happens next!!!

I have been waiting for this book since I finished with Dirty Blue, the first Dirty Justice book. And book one does have to be read first so that you know what is going on. This book picks up where the first one left off and we get to see the full repercussions of Bri’s attack. But the secrets don’t stop there. When reading you are going to be faced with a roller coaster of emotions brought on by the danger, betrayals and loss surrounding this story.
Bri and Draco have formed a relationship on the pile of secrets that surround them and even with everything we do know, there is still so much left to be exposed. While dealing with the fallout of her injuries, and secrets revealed they also have to find a way to get Gabriel back and it’s starting to look like it’s all one sided.
Now with a new assignment and a new mission to get her through Bri has to deal with more losses than she prepared for. But when the mutual enemy steps up his game, they must decide to go all in or go separate ways.
This may seem like this is their HEA but this story isn’t done yet! I can’t wait for the conclusion of this series and fall can not come soon enough!

WOW
I read Dirty War in just a few hours. I sat down for a few minutes to just relax and read a few pages but here it is, a few hours later, and a finished book.
This book grabs you from the start. The previous book, dirty blue, leaves you on edge with a cliffhanger.
Dirty War picks up where it ended. It’s fast paced and action packed.
It mixes suspense, romance, and true love all into one story and grabs you and you can’t put it down

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 Emotional Stars!
Dirty War is book two in the Dirty Justice Trilogy. Book one ‘Dirty Blue’ must be read first to fully experience this captivating, heart wrenching and beautifully written story.
This book was full of action, steam and mystery.
We immediately pick up where Dirty Blue left off and this is where my heart stuttered, broke and slowly began to heal.
Brianna our fierce, independent and strong detective gets out through the ringer in this book. She looses Gabe, Drago and experiences a miscarriage.
Drago our strong, loyal and bossy but swoon worthy ‘bad guy’ finally learns the secret Bri has been hiding but will she discover his? He’s even more determined now to keep the people he loves protected at all cost, even if it means giving up his son and Bri forever.
Nothing is black and white anymore, all they have now is grey.
I really enjoyed this second part of their story and I applaud the author for how she wrote and handled the miscarriage scene. She really takes you on a journey as Bri goes through the grieving process. It was written so beautifully and thoughtfully to the point where it made my heart break for the character. I got so emotional!
The only thing that I didn’t like was how Drago behaves during the miscarriage. If you have read this book then I’m sure you know what part I’m talking about.
I highly recommend this trilogy so far and I’m excited to read what happens next!

Drago and Bri are back and burning up the pages in Dirty War, the second installment in the Dirty Justice series. N.E. Henderson does not disappoint in tormenting her characters which makes me love them and her writing more!
If you have not read Dirty Blue, Book 1, stop now and immediately read it! You must read it first to enjoy this one... If you're not a fan of cliffhangers rest assured that Book 2 picks up right where Book 1 leaves off - I am not typically a fan of cliffhangers but don't mind these at all because the part of the story is wrapped up nicely and leaves us hanging on to "To Be Continued" with hope and impatience.
Dirty War introduces us to new characters and plot twists that were not expected. It's like the next episode of your favorite TV show - right from the beginning I was pulled back into the world of Drago and Bri and could not stop reading! I read it in one sitting because it was just so good!
In Dirty War Bri finds herself internally at war between the job she loves and the man and son who have stolen her heart. Gabe is missing and with him a piece of her heart. She will stop at nothing to find him - not even the physical recovery her body needs. I will stop there as to not become a great book spoiler, but I must tell you that the gut wrenching ends with happy relief!

February 11, 2020This is the second installment in this series. They MUST be read in order. This books starts where the first one left us hanging. I had to jump right into this book from the first one. Dirty War is filled with suspense and drama, just like Dirty Blue, but I found it even more heart wrenching. I know there were times I held my breath hoping for someone to rescue me, and Brianna! I found myself hoping for Drago to return, for Brianna to succeed in her mission, and for a happy ending. But the twists and turns left me surprised, and guessing throughout the story. Once again, I am hanging off the edge of a cliff as the story ends. I cannot wait to jump into Dirty Sin and hear more about Brianna and Drago and even little Gabe.
Charley Ongel brings Brianna to life. Ms. Ongel's narration made me feel every emotion, struggle and heart wrenching moment of Brianna's. Ms. Ongel easily narrates all the characters and keeps them distinct and easy to follow. She has a smooth male voice that does not feel forced. This story has so many different moving pieces and Ms. Ongel uses the perfect infliction to bring it all out. I am completely hooked on this series and cannot wait to listen to the next book.

It's got a little of everything! I love a book that makes you think and enjoy it at the same time, and Henderson is masterfully weaving a tale that does just that. This one ends on a complete surprise and now it's important to grab the final installment of the trilogy!

This one is the follow up and starts right off after that killer cliffy nearly made me go crazy.
What happened was so downright horrific and yet to find how miraculously Bri was saved just made me feel so happy.
But now Bri has much more important things to worry about as not only her career is in danger but also the fact that sweet little Gabe is nowhere to be found.
This one truly kept me in hyper mode as the twists just smacked me in the face but what perplexed me more was why Drago was behaving the way he was.
I loved this one more as I felt I was really a delicious, edge of your seat thriller with the chase and run and investigation and quiet searches and everything that was happening made me turn the pages so freaking fast.
I adore Brianna's dedication to find the little one no matter what and especially when she has no support.
But also the fact that she's lost so much and yet is such a strong woman.
The surprise twist when a certain someone joins the search just made this entire ride all the more interesting.
Ahhh...another crazy ending and I so can't really wait even for a sec to dive into the next one. Loved loved this one.

Holy Baby Jesus this book started right where Dirty Blue ended and I was so excited to see what the hell was going on. When I finished the first book I was like WTF with that huge cliffhanger but I was excited to see where this story was going and holy hell I was not disappointed.
I will not ruin this book by saying any spoils but I will say this holy mind eff and twists and turns man I did not know what was going down because so much was happening all at once. Plus Drago I was a little mad at him in this book because he was being a real arse and his behavior was off the chain. He needs to do some serious recon if he thinks Brianna is going to tolerate that mess.
This is a must must read series and I need the third book because yes I will say it again N.E. WTF with that cliffhanger of an ending I mean it was worse than the first book. I was screaming at my kindle and crying because man shizz went down and it was crazy as hell.

Wow!
This is an incredible 5⭐️ read but you must read Book 1 first!
🧡After absolutley loving Dirty Blue where we were first introduced to Brianna and Drago, to say I was excited for this release is an understatement!
And I was far from disappointed, Nancy delivers an excellent folllow up in book 2 of this intense thrilling series!
Being completely engrossed by this story I was unable to put it down so much I devoured it in one sitting!
It’s gripping and exhilarating and I found myself reading the majority of it with Bated Breath! The plot and twists were jaw dropping! And when I got to the ended I had butterflies!
Although this doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, Bri & Drago’s story is not yet complete and I’m so glad because I cannot get enough of them! The release of Dirty Sin cannot come soon enough !

Wow! Just wow! Dirty War was even better than Dirty Blue! After being left reeling from the cliffhanger in Dirty Blue I can promise you it was worth it! While I do love that there’s no cliffhanger in this one, I am so happy there’s one more coming! I can’t get enough of Drago and Bri! This book literally has everything! There is suspense, action, drama, and oh yeah, some very steamy scenes! So many twists, I’m talking draw dropping NEVER could you ever see coming! Being told from Bri’s POV there were so many questions, questions she had, and I loved feeling her emotions as she was going through it. It really added to the suspense, and oh that ending!! I can not wait for Dirty Sin!

Dirty War was another wonderfully written book by Mrs. Henderson. It was a story full of emotion. Right from the start it grabbed hold of me and took my heart for a ride. I guessed the opening surprise but only because it’s easy for me to put myself in Bri’s place. It wasn’t hard for me to imagine what could be one of the most horrible scenarios to happen on top of what already transpired. My heart broke for her.
This segment of Bri and Drago’s story was full of twist, turns and unexpected surprises.
It was definitely a story about forgiveness, healing and justice.
I can’t wait to find out what happens next in their story.

From the beginning to the end, this story is non stop action. Bri and Drago are still dancing around each other and now the hunt is on to find Gabriel and Diaz and figure out who in the department is "dirty". We meet new characters that add an additional level of intrigue to the story and learn more about existing characters. There are moments of heartbreak and joy throughout. There are so many forces and stories spiraling throughout the story that the ending was not what I expected. I can't wait to see what happens in the final installment.

This is the second book in this series by this author. Omg this book is just as good as the first one. I couldn't put this book down till I'd got to the end, then I was left wanting more. This book will grab you from the first page. This is a fast paced action packed read. This book has the perfect mixture of romance, suspense and mystery. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Whew! Now I can relax, that was a stressful edgy storyline. As a mom I had a hard time with parts of the story. As the wife of a law enforcement officer I understand most of what these characters were going through, trust is a huge part of their jobs. My heart bounced around many times as Brianna struggled with finding Gabriel, dealing with the job and her family, and then Drago of course. Love a book that makes me feel! My review was written voluntarily after reading an early copy.

5 stars. This is not a standalone book and the story spans over the three books. Dirty War begins where Dirty Blue ended and WOW! this is a high octane read which has you on the edge of your seat. There are so many twists and turns and you second guess yourself as to who are the good guys and who are the bad. Diving straight into book 3. Highlky recommended series.

Loved this book! Read it hard and lightning fast! I spent most of the book mad at D but in the end I got over that. The surprises and the suspense were awesome! The story wasn’t rushed, and the plot didn’t feel like status quo or as if it was a repeat. Loved that it continued from book 1! Excited to read book 3 and final of the series.

Drago & Bri have a complicated relationship. So many twists & turns I'd get lost. Kept you on your toes wondering what was going to happen next. The love for a little child pulled you in . Family revenge will happen, but how?
