If ever I needed Amazon to allow more than 5 stars IT IS NOW!!! Okay, I just need to stop hyperventilating and then I can write this review. But, I REALLY NEED more than five little stars, Amazon! Elicit is EVERYTHING a "final" book in a series should be! And just for the record - I did not feel like the fourth book NEEDED another one to tie up loose ends. I felt that Elicit was more of an "icing on the cake" sort of book, rather than a story that was sorely needed to say things that were left unsaid. Now, on to Elicit! I thoroughly enjoyed, loved, obsessed over, (whatever verb you want to put in there) Jett and London's (or "Sugar's") love story in this book. I have to be honest and say that throughout this series I was not THAT into Jett and London - either separately or as a couple. I was not NOT into them. It was just that for me, Kayne and Ellie were so much more consuming. I thought it was cool that in Book Four "Lie With Me", the relationship between the foursome was fleshed out much more. One of the beautiful things about Elicit is that I was able to know Jett so much better, as well as learning about London's history. M. Never wrote a truly riveting and intense story. Somehow though, the developing relationship between Jett and London was portrayed as a beautiful and natural result of the incredible attraction that both felt toward the other. I have never really gushed so hard over a book before, but M. Never - you are my queen! I have read everything I can get my hands on that you have written! I am a FAN FOR LIFE!! Thank you so incredibly much for writing this awesome series, AND for giving us Jet & London's love story. It is real. It is intense. And it is absolutely beautiful!!!!

Unfortunately I hate "sharing" tropes, when the alpha male is so in love with the heroine, he has to share her with his best friend, and every walking living breathing thing🙃

This was my first M. Never book and boy was I in for a surprise.

Elicit is a dark erotic romance containing, scenes of sex slavery,BDSM, f&f and fmf sexual acts.
I think due to the nature of the plot I couldn't connect to the characters there was very little warmth or romance not that I expected any, I normally love dark reads but it was mainly sex based.
You only find out Jett's true investment in the sex mansion at the end but even when Jett falls for London there's still sex with others and It just wasn't my kind of read.
With what London had been through as a sex slave, I would of liked to see her get justice and a complete turn around and I didn't feel enough was emphasised on that, not in a satisfactory sense.
Elicit is told in dual pov's and does lead to a hea. There are very graffic sex scenes so lovers of sizzling hot erotic scenes containing all that I stated above would enjoy but this wasn't my taste at all, my star rating is due to writing style and flow which I couldn’t fault and cannot score lower just because it's not my taste in a read.

Utterly happy!!
After reading jetts book makes me want to read the whole series again. I loved jett and Kayne. London and Ellie also become my favourites as well. What I was always dying to know more about jett. And now that I know I couldn't be happier with the end result. Jett and Kayne both are God's. They hero's and such good men. I loved and adored this whole series thank you M never you deserve a good medal for this whole series great job!!!

London's past is filled with things that true nightmares are made of. Her scars are deep, her soul hollow, and a tough nut to break. Not very many people notice the darkness in her eyes, but Jett is slowly breaking down her walls, no matter how much she tries to keep him out. But girls like her never get happily ever afters, so it's hard for her to believe any man would love anything about her. Will Jett be able to keep her safe when the crap hits the fan, and will London ever forgive him for the secrets he kept from her?
Oh M. Never, you sexy sexy beast! This has been one of my all time favorite dark series, and in fact, this is the series that freed my dark and twisty self while opening my addiction for the dark reads. I wish I could tell you that my hard outer shell is still intact, but alas, every dramatic girly girl emotions that I've ever had, and some I haven't, are flying in every direction, long after I finished this story. The character development is fantastic, with a powerful cast of secondaries that only added to the intense emotions. I loved Jett in the books before, so I was so excited about finally reading his story, that every time I saw the sign ups, I panicked thinking I didn't sign up, so I may or may not have signed up more than once. Of course the sexy, alpha Dom falling for a woman made for some serious flammable chemistry, which EXPLODED FIERY FLAMES of sexy scene goodness all over the place, and no pair of panties is safe! M. Never's diabolically brilliant writing style never fails to bring me to my knees, and Elicit is absolutely NO EXCEPTION! In earlier books, I read about Jett and London, as secondaries, but there's nothing like them telling their story to make my eyes leak on more than one occasion. She wrote London's feelings so powerfully well, that the pain physically hurt my heart. Of course the twists and turns never fail to have f-bombs dropping everywhere, and her serious topic isn't glorified, but realistically written! I'm so glad the day I was recommended this author, because even though she's high on the list of authors trying to kill me, she's become one of my all time favorites! No matter how badly you may want to turn away from a dark read, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Elicit, and the whole series so the true victims have a voice!

Holy freakin shit balls batman! First of all if you haven't read the Decadence After dark series stop reading this now. There will possibly be some spoilers from those characters. This book does take place during those time's. I knew Jett would be kinky fucker. I knew I'd end up loving him even more than I did in the first books. But I did not know I would freakin love him this much more!!! Sweet baby Jesus this man is killer on some panties.
London is truly a broken bird. She's been through hell and back more than once. But this only makes her stronger. If you've read the other books you know how things turn out for her. But you don't know her past. Her past makes me love her even more. Her past does not define who she is! She's overcame those obstacles and made herself better. Stronger. Fierce. Not only is she beautiful on the outside she's beautiful on the inside as well. Reading her story made me cry on more than one occasion. Jett is her savior. He is her everything. When you read this you will know why.
Jett.... good lord this man. I freakin loved him in the other books. But this book... his book. He melted my heart. Not only is he super kinky and sweet he's romantic and funny. He's the glue that hold's everyone together. Kayne. Ellie. London. They all depend on Jett. Does this man cower with all the pressure? Fuck no! He takes it and owns that shit. I couldn't stop reading. His POV is amazing.
M completwly out did herself with this book. I love these characters so much. Maybe that's why I've read this entire series numerous times. And it still feels like the first. Now having Jett and Londons book makes things feel complete. I love them hardcore. If you want a wet Panty one handed read you've found it. Jett makes everything all better! ;)

MNever never disappoints! She birthed Kayne and Ellie, nurtured their story, loved the supporting characters enough to hint at their personal stories throughout the series, and effortlessly and successfully captured our hearts and minds.
I fell in love with Jett in Owned. He successfully balanced his loyalty to Kayne and his empathy for Ellie without betraying either throughout their three books. I knew he had a story and oh what a story! I'm uber proud of this guy! He's saved so many and ultimately saved himself. Elicit is Jett and London's story.
London has suffered endlessly. She was betrayed by those whose love should have been unconditional. She is broken. And rightly so. But not beyond repair. Jett is exactly what London's brokenness needed. She knew it. She fought it. She capitulated. What a ride though! From the moment she walked into Jett's establishment it was a battle. Drama meant for tv! Sex scenes meant for adult shows (get those highlighters ready). The monster who started London's descent into blackness is revealed in Elicit and oh what a shit storm it is, readers! There is a story there and I sincerely hope it's up next!
I don't have to tell you this story is super dark, raw, and gritty. MNever's fans are well aware of her style and appreciate honest and raw intensity. If you're new to the game, back up and start with book one- Owned. Popping your MNever cherry with Elicit is the equivalent of a vegetarian eating steak for the first time ever......sensory overload! Consume slowly and in pieces. Pace yourself. Once you're on the Decadence train, you're not leaving. Ever!

In theory, you can read this book as a standalone. However, I strongly encourage you to read at least the first two books in the series, Owned and Claimed. I truly believe that you will miss out on the initial introduction of Jett and it really does play into the story of him and London.
I admit that I had not read this series but this week and once again, I question what I was thinking. M. Never was new to me this year when I read Moto and I can honestly say that I have really enjoyed everything I've read so far. So I was super excited to jump into this series. I admit that I started late but I'm so glad that I read it.
Jett has a major secret in his life. One that he knows is for the best for the time being. However, all it takes is one particular redhead to show up in his life and cause him to really want to open up for the first time. All his life, he's been able to capture the heart of any woman he wants. Yet he's never really wanted to give his heart to any of them. His secret causes him to be in a very delicate balance of honesty and deceit. Will he be able to hold on to the one woman that he knows is made for him or will he end up losing her?
I fell for Jett so hard. He has this way with him that just draws you to him. He's charismatic but overall, he's just a huge softy with a big heart.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and the journey that Jett and London endured. It certainly wasn't always pretty but it was something to fight for. Don't miss out on this series. M. Never is quickly becoming one of my must read authors!

Oh wow, I absolutely loved Jett and Skye's story!
If you've read the first 4 books in this series, you'll recognise lots of the characters and as this books overlaps with another in timeframe, the scene too.
If you haven't read the first four books, I urge you to, otherwise you'll be missing some information when it comes to this story.
We met Jett earlier in the series and just as he did then, he intrigued me. He's had a different upbringing but things are not always as they seem.
Skye has no idea how she's landed where she is but even though she's closed herself off, she knows things could be worse....so much worse.
This book is beautifully written. The relationship, not only between Jett and Skye but all the other characters in the book is palpable.
I enjoyed it so much that it made me want to re-read Kayne's story.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable book....you won't regret taking this journey with M Never.

We met Jett earlier in the series and just as he did then, he intrigued me. He's had a different upbringing but things are not always as they seem.
Skye has no idea how she's landed where she is but even though she's closed herself off, she knows things could be worse....so much worse.
This book is beautifully written. The relationship, not only between Jett and Skye but all the other characters in the book is palpable.
I enjoyed it so much that it made me want to re-read Kayne's story.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable book....you won't regret taking this journey with M Never.

🔥 Favorite of the series 💥
After reading Kayne and Ellie's crazy and wild ride to the finish line in books 1-3, one person stood out in the crowd like a beam of warm sunshine in every book..Jett Fox! If you've read M. Never's Decandance After Dark Series, perhaps you know what I mean. Whew, he is H.O.T., super sexy and I was completely dying to know EVERYTHING else about him. This was my favorite book of the series with book 3 being a close second.
Jett- smart, protective, mysterious, gorgeous with a kind but firm soothing nature, a dirty sense of humor and the ability to drop an enemy like a rock if needed, in a heartbeat. He's hypnotic, irresistible, knows all the 'tricks' to make his 'ladies' shine as the most beautiful women in the building and then knock their socks off with his own personal brand of kink behind closed doors. Yes, he is definitely unconventional but to me...Wow, what a different type of anti hero he turned out to be in this unusual romance setting of an upscale brothel where Jett himself was the man in charge of the madness. But of course, everything may not be as it seems and that was a huge part of the excitement, wondering about the hidden details.
Seeing Jett and London's POVs after reading Kayne and Ellie's during the same time frame at the 'Mansion', added a different perspective and a whole new feel to this last (?) published book in the series at this point... I loved every page. No cliffhanger here, just me wishing for more about these very different characters whose stories I've come to love and enjoy. Even the hard to absorb beginnings of London's horrible story, the atrocities she endured in her life and how she came to be in the right place, with the perfect person to care for her unconditionally. M. Never still managed to shock and surprise this reader multiple times, tossing in some unexpected twists into a story that I thought had already been told. Some parts of this series are not for the faint of heart but for lovers of dark and dangerous romance, it's a tale that will keep you hanging off the edge of your seat and chewing your fingernails while your Kindle explodes and catches fire (hey, brothel setting..steamy is putting it mildly!).
I'm finding myself drawn to many of her stories and loving the dark and suspenseful elements waiting for me to discover in her books. I'll have to see if Ms. Never can top this one and have lots of fun finding out!

I've been waiting for Jett's book for a while now, as this series and group of characters have been wonderful to follow for these five books. I'm presuming this will be the final instalment, and I admit I feel slightly emotional at that fact.
This final instalment goes back to before the beginning of Owned, overlaps it slightly and finishes at around the same point. I enjoyed seeing Kayne, Ellie and Juice come in and out of this novel, without any of it seeming forced at all, which can happen fairly often with interlinked standalones.
In some respects, I was hoping for something a bit darker. Although it started off that way, the darkness petered out fairly quickly, and then it became about healing through the comfort Jett and London found in one another. The sex scenes were, as ever, nice and dirty, but it would have been nice to have had a bit more of the kink found in the other instalments that we know Jett and London are so capable of.
Although I did really enjoy reading this, I couldn't help but feel like I was left just a little disappointed. My enjoyment stemmed mainly from the fact that Jett is my favourite character in the series, but I found that I actually liked him more when he was in a supporting role. The character didn't quite seem so consistent to me with this - and the same would go for London, but I feel like her journey was deeper and more emotional, more poignant, so the difference in character is more understandable.
A welcome addition to the Decadence After Dark series, Elicit is an enjoyable, hot read but suffers from a familiar plot explored earlier in the series. This felt, to me, like a decent example of having had too much of a good thing. But I'm looking forward to whatever direction M. Never goes in from here.

How complicated this woman is. How embroiled and tangled. I want to know every puzzling piece of her intimately, starting with how she sounds when she comes.

When M announces she's releasing a new book I sit like a puppy waiting on it's next meal. Seriously, I first fell in love with the Decadence After Dark series and M's writing last year and ever since my first dive into the dark erotic world of Kayne, Ellie, Jett, and London I've been waiting for this book.
It's no secret I'm completely and utterly #OwnedByKayne, but as soon as I opened Elicit something clicked and I was thrown into Jett and London's story. Reading this will take you through a range of emotions both wild and erotic, but also dark and romantic. It's like drinking a rich red wine while eating a dark chocolate. Sweet and sinful.
Jett is everything you have been waiting for and more. Yes, I'm #KaynesKitten, but Jett loves to share and I wouldn't mind that particular sandwich.
London is like a sister/best friend you want to have. She's strong, beautiful, and she crashes into Jett's life, turning the demanding Alpha into a puppy dog, and it's oh so good.
I lived and breathed their story and I never wanted to leave. You definitely need to read Owned, Claimed, and Ruined first. M's magical story telling is just as hot, sinful, and sexy as the first books and this is nothing short of amazing.
Five stars does not do this justice because it's so much more. One click this story and let Jett and London take you into the dark world of Mansion and the decadent toys and scorching scenes that will leave you panting for more.

Holy shit balls batman! First of all if you haven't read the Decadence After dark series stop reading this now. There will possibly be some spoilers from those characters. This book does take place during those time's. I knew Jett would be kinky fucker. I knew I'd end up loving him even more than I did in the first books. But I did not know I would love him this much more!!! Sweet baby Jesus this man is killer on some panties.
London is truly a broken bird. She's been through hell and back more than once. But this only makes her stronger. If you've read the other books you know how things turn out for her. But you don't know her past. Her past makes me love her even more. Her past does not define who she is! She's overcame those obstacles and made herself better. Stronger. Fierce. Not only is she beautiful on the outside she's beautiful on the inside as well. Reading her story made me cry on more than one occasion. Jett is her savior. He is her everything. When you read this you will know why.
Jett.... good lord this man. I loved him in the other books. But this book... his book. He melted my heart. Not only is he super kinky and sweet he's romantic and funny. He's the glue that hold's everyone together. Kayne. Ellie. London. They all depend on Jett. Does this man cower with all the pressure? Fuck no! He takes it and owns that shit. I couldn't stop reading. His POV is amazing.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I was totally blown away. Without reading the books before this one I was still able to pick up on who everyone was and what their role was in this story. Now I'm sitting here in book hangover and will be one clicking the other 4 books to get to know the other characters stories.
From the first word to the last I wasn't able to put it down. The author has away with captivating your attention and not letting you go. You will feel so many emotions from the start and they don't even end when the book is finished.
Jett and London story will captivate your heart. Your heart will bleed for their love and for the people who stands beside them through their journey.
If you haven't pick up this series then it's a must. I know I will definitely be reading them all.

Well ... I'm not sure what happened, but Elicit and I didn't mesh well. The storyline was fine, but the story to sex ratio was a little putt off balance for me. I'm not against a lot of sex, but it made out hard to follow the plot. And it seemed to be used as a way to fill holes instead of coming about naturally.
I appreciate that the H&h were secure enough to share, but I'm not sure exactly how that happened. London was awfully calm and accepting considering she was supposed to be on guard and petrified half the time. Her actions and thoughts weren't consistent and I got very confused. Jett's character was a little easier to follow, which made me like him more.
The sex scenes though ... OMG if those don't get you ready I don't know what will.

Ever since reading the first three books in the Decadence series, I wanted to read more about Jett & London. When I heard M. Never was finally writing their book, I had to jump on it. I am sorry to hear that the series is over but my fingers are crossed that we may get a novella for Alistar and Amber.

Yes, it’s official, as most fans of the Decadence Series and M Never’s #cupcakeclub Jett & London have stolen my heart!
I loved Jett from the first time he appeared in Owend and he is definitely high up there on my book boyfriend list! He is the kinkiest bad boy for me but also the most adorable! Do I want a Jett? Hell yes, please!!!!
Elicit is the 5th book of the Decadence series and is written in Jett & London´s POV. London is a broken woman and believes she is worth nothing when she appears on Jett´s doorstep. Jett is hard set on breaking her walls and gaining her trust. He´ll do anything for his little Sugar Bird.
I am in love with their love, the sizzling sexy steam between them and their much deserved HEA.
I also loved that we got to revisit parts of Kayne and Ellie’s story. This book had me weeping and on the edge of my seat with anxiety. Job well done again.
Still cannot get enough of Jett & Kanye’s bromance but equally still disdain the likes of Javier very much!
