Adam Renner owes his life to his best friend, Mateo. At 19 years old, he was nearly killed in combat during his time with the U. S. military in Afghanistan. RENNER’s RULES is another steamy addition to K. Webster’s Taboo World, which is a compilation of novellas that were written to satisfy her reader’s naughty fantasies. I swear each book gets even more provocative but always ends with a sugary sweet HEA. I do love a good student/teacher romance and this one happens to include a very sexy High School Principal who also happens to be the father’s best friend—definitely the makings of a good forbidden romance.




Adam Renner gets a call from his old army buddy who he hasn’t heard from much in over sixteen years. His friend just lost his wife to cancer and has been having a hard time parenting his teenage daughter. She’s starting to rebel and hanging out with the wrong crowd. He begs Adam to take her in and help get her back on the right path. Adam’s not thrilled at the prospect of having to deal with yet another rebellious teenager but he owes his friend his life, so he agrees to his friend’s request.






From the moment Adam and Elma meet they both feel an insane attraction for each other. This alarms Adam because he knows that it’s all kinds of wrong. He does his best to keep his desires in check but little by little Elma breaks down his resistance. Soon the two are throwing caution to the wind and taking huge chances by sneaking sexy times in Adam’s office at the High School.






This is a completely far-fetched story as we know just like in every previous novella that the couple ends up living happily ever after. They always seem to avoid being crucified for their taboo relationships, and yet I can’t deny how much fun these are to read!

Because Karelma (Elma) is far from being a little girl. She’s a sexy 18-year-old knockout that Renner can’t stop thinking about. C’mon, the guy’s walking around with a constant hard-on for the girl. He’s the principal. She’s a student. Legal or not, it would be wrong to give in… right?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was short but had quite a bit of meat to it. Renner came home from the war with more than just the physical scars of his ordeal. Dealing with PTSD, I liked the way the author wove it into his personality. It didn’t get too deep but added depth to his character. I really liked that although Elma was young, she wasn’t totally innocent, which worked with the whole older man/younger woman dynamic that was going on. If you like the touch of something dirty to go with your romance, this taboo treat may be just what you’re looking for!

I felt myself slowly going into a book slump, and My go to so K.Webster to get me out of it. I swear if I had any teacher or principal like Renner, I would make sure I was always in the principal's office.

Adam Renner, 35 years of age, principal, and ex-military. Tall and handsome as hell. He takes In his friend's 18-year-old daughter to live with him and attend his school. Elma is coping with the loss of her mother and her father, who has pulled away and is acting out. There is an instant attraction when they first each other. The last time Adam saw Elma is was one year of age, and now she is an exotic beauty.

The sexual chemistry between the two is steamy, and Adam is one hot, grumpy principle. Now I need to read about the coach, and who thinks Zane was after? I believe that there were more teacher/student affairs then want was lead on.

This was a short story about a forbidden love affair between a Principal and his student.
Not only was Elma his student though, she was his best friends daughter.
When Adam Renner was in the military years ago, he was almost killed...his friend and fellow soldier; Mateo, saved his life. Fast forward 19 years ahead, to when Mateo asks a huge favor of his friend...he needs Adam to take care of his 18 year old daughter, and hopefully set her on the right track.

You can imagine where this story goes from here. Or maybe you can't? Bottom line, this is a smutty story about two people who really shouldn't have crossed the boundary that they did. I took this book with a grain of salt. I expected it to be smutty, and that is what I felt it was. I was somewhat disappointed that Adam and Elma didn't really get into much trouble when their affair became known.

This story reminded me of one that Alexa Riley would write, and since that is what I expected I wasn't let down. It was a quick read, and one that probably in a year's time I won't remember very well...but I enjoyed it enough while I was reading it!

A decent and quick paced taboo romance. Adam and Elma's story was smutty and cliché. I don't have high expectations on the conflict because it's rushed and uneventful. Nothing crazy happened. Principal Adam Renner was sexy though haha.

First read of 2021!

Color me surprised with this one. Of course, it wasn’t all good because the book was very short and it seemed very fast-paced. But, for 200 pages I’ll take it, it was good.

This book left me wanting more; I would’ve loved to see more of their relationship, of the conflict and how complex it must be for a high school student to be dating her principal. But just for that, and for not feeling like I had to finish the book, I decided to give it three stars. Going forward I would love to read more of this author.

Give it a try if you’re looking for a cute, sometimes hot, quick, easy read.

Adam once had a promising young military career but he ended up injured, by was saved by Elma father. So he really owes that man his life or a big favor. So years later when his friend asked him to take on his daughter by letting her stay with him and attend the school that he is a Principle at he of course agrees to it. Adam had met Elma once when she was two years old and he a young man but now she is 18 years old and almost at of school. Elma has fallen into a bad ground at her old school and her father sent her to Adam so he could keep an eye on her at school. But Adam is finding it very hard to keep a distance approach to Elma and Elma if find the older Principal not to be so old.
Really enjoyed this book....could not put it down~~

Complice il clamore che si era creato tempo fa nei confronti di questa autrice, mi sono subito tuffata di testa nel suo primo libro tradotto in italiano, ma le mie aspettative sono state deluse, perché purtroppo il problema delle alte aspettative è che il 90% delle volte vengono disattese.
Parto col dire che gli elementi essenziali per una trama col botto c'erano davvero tutti, lui trentacinquenne ex militare ed amico del padre di lei diciottenne problematica dopo la morte della madre, ma a mio parere non è stata proprio sviluppata una storia verosimile.
E' tutto troppo campato in aria per risultare solo lontanamente credibile, almeno qui in Italia le cose non funzionano così, ed in più non c'è quasi praticamente accenno alla psicologia o ai sentimenti dei protagonisti...io ci ho trovato solo una fortissima carica sessuale ed attrazione un pò di attrazione fatale..lo definirei un romanzo erotico punto. Francamente, visto il tema trattato e la grandissima differenza di età che c'è tra i protagonisti, mi sarei aspettata almeno un pò di introspezione invece mi è risultato tutto molto squallido. Insomma, un romanzo da leggere senza troppe pretese in un momento di fregola ormonale.

Phew! And this is why I am so ravenous when it comes to K. Webster's books. From her full length one's to the taboo treats, she never failed to deliver a read worthy to be savoured and enjoyed. Renner's Rule is no different. This treat fed my addiction to all things taboo and I love it from start to finish.

Renner's Rule had me from the very beginning and I say so myself, this is one hell of a short ride I would love to reread and wont get bored. It was no traditional romance but K's words made me achingly need to satiate my desire and addiction. Adam Renner and Elma's journey was quick and steamy. But what more can you ask for with this treat? A naughty principal and an 18-year old rebel-ish daughter of his best friend. Gah! Smoking hot to the zenith. It was dirty, blunt and beautifuly crafted that even how taboo it was, I couldn't help but crave it even more. It did not help that it was my cuppa, but even that, I have my requirement. I just don't need some porn-ish material. I want a scorchingly-forbidden, smexy read that has class written all over it and that's Renner's Rule for me.

As always, you deliver and you did not disappoint.

Yikes this is an awesome read. This author is an auto 1-click for me. She is faultless and everything I’ve read by her has been awesome. This is no different. It’s a quick taboo story about a teacher(well school principle) and his student.

I loved the storyline. These two characters are so good together. Principal Adam Renner doesn’t know what he’s let himself in for when he agrees to his friends daughter Elma stay with him for a while to sort herself out. As soon as Adam sees Elma he knows he’s going to have to be strong to fight his feelings. But can he?

Thoroughly enjoyed this taboo read. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

What can I say?
I love me these little #TabooTreats. They are a quick read filled with smexy, kinky goodness, characters that I end up becoming absolutely fascinated with and good dose of heart tossed into the mix that pull out all the feels.

Renner and Elma’s journey was quick, dirty and sweet and I really liked them together. Yes, there is an age difference and the whole principal/student thing (she is 18 btw) but there was that ...thing...that connection between them that made them work. Renner needed her sweetness and Elma needed his alpha-ness. They start off quite rocky, but they see beyond the facade and that’s when things start to heat up and well…they find their HEA in the end.

As I said in the beginning, this was a fun read! Then again I’ve found all of these novellas to be, so it’s not much of a surprise on that front. This one does deal with a couple of heavy topics, outside of the obvious ‘taboo’ but they are handled well. And as always, my interest has been peaked about what will happen with some of the other characters we meet in this one and as I found out in my last read, these are all loosely interconnected, so I’ll be checking out the list to see who I may have missed. If they aren’t there, well, I’ll just be doing my best to wait patiently for that little treat to be released!

Soooo what do we have here.

Renner and Adam are best friends who fought in Afghanistan where Adam saved Renner's life.
Renner owed him one.

“But seriously, though, thank you. I don’t know how else to help her.”
“We’ll get her straightened out,” I vow. “I promise.”
“I knew I could count on you.”

A couple decades later Adam calls Renner to ask him if he can let his daughter stay at his place and at his school for the last school year because Elma got bitter and troublesome after her mother's death.
Because Adam saved his life Renner said yes to it.

I’d briefly imagined what her flesh would look like there if I sucked her skin. Purple and bruised, no doubt.
I groan at the thought of parting her sweet thighs and inhaling what’s between them.

And we now have principal Renner getting a boner for Elma who is an 18 year old🥰

Elma's friend tells her father that she slept with around 8 guys and that she was doing drugs when the actual truth was that the drugs were not hers and she was a virgin.
