The Wild Hunt

Rate this book
Zoey has more than one serious problem in the town she calls home. A Wendigo is loose and the human authorities don't have a clue as how to stop it. It's one thing to be half fairy and have the entire town think you're touched in the head because you talk to yourself all the time but it's another to be needed by law enforcement. If a crazy monster wasn't enough she's spotted members of the Wild Hunt in town. Fae warriors and humans do not mix well together. No one else has the power or the means to make a lick of difference in the coming battle.

It's her town.

She going to protect it or die trying!

Unique fantasy

Half fairy and half human makes you unique in Salem. All I want to do is run my herb shop, take care of my father who is in a nursing home, the sheriff, the town, and those who work in my shop. I have a pixie who lives in my necklace named Gramps, who knows that he is in charge of my life. I inherited Gramps when my mother left when I was three from my mother. When a windego and a wild hunt comes to town, the children are endanger. Great characterization for sheriff, witch, pixie and humans. Great for all readers of Harry Potter.

A nicely written. Tale of the fay

This tale has updated the world of the wee folks, the day and their interaction with this realm. There are many possibilities opening with this story, tieing it into the world of the Federal witch.

Just sad its over :((

Lots of material left to hear about especially Jinx, Ash, Oliver and Joel! Gramps is adorable and funny. But too much left unsaid like who is the protagonist's mom??

Ol-i-ver to the rescue

What a great addition to the Federal Witch series.
Follow the characters as they deal with creatures thought extinct and Fairies with a grudge.

Intriguing story from the federal witch series

This is another author that contributes to the federal witch series. Zoey is a half human/half fairy; who's lives in Salem, Washington; and who's grandfather is a pixie that lives in anamulet around her neck. She tried to keep Supernatural element from being exposed. Joel is the sheriff of Salem whose father was killed by a supernatural being and know Jack Dalton from the magical Bureau.

Zoey, her grandfather, and Joel Ark trying to keep children from disappearing during the wild Hunt. A wild Hunt is where fairies takes children.

The characters are introduced in the story as relatable, magical, and heroic with a bit of romantic interest between Joel and Zoey. The plot has twists that is fast paced and somewhat confusing until the end.

The influx of various new stories by new authors create more stories involving the intriguing Federal witch series.

A tough cookie

The main character is still struggling to keep her father in care, her businesses afloat, protect her city and maintain her few friendships. She's kind of awesome but she doesn't get many breaks. I've been rooting for her since the first Fairy Locket book. I think that it's almost impossible to not.

The nastiness of the fairy world becomes clearer and the dangers are greater than the MC had imagined. It's an intense story about a very cool character in a very dangerous position. It's a fast read but a good one.

She is my favorite character from the Federal Witch series.
