In the mysterious land of witchcraft and magic, a passage through ghosts and trolls in an unpredictable land - Iceland. A hidden abode of vikings which still speaks the language of vikings, lives on the edges, bathing in the volcanic lakes, and believing in the ghosts. The land where roads just seem to disappear and reappear from nowhere, leaving one virtually nowhere. A journey which takes to the 'Game of thrones' turning the traveller into a viking himself.

लेखक ने अपने आइसलैंड की यात्रा का वर्णन किया है। संभवतः आइसलैंड को पहले के लोग भुतहा जगह मानते हों और लेखक को भूतों (की कहानी) में रूचि हो इसलिए आइसलैंड की घुमक्कड़ी में दिखे नज़ारों को वहां विगत में प्रचालित तंत्र विद्या और भूत-प्रेत-डायन की कहानियों से थोड़े मज़ाकिया लहजे में जोड़ते हुए दिखाया है। कुछ जगह कुछ प्राकृतिक दृश्यों, जिन्हें पहले के लोग भुतहा समझते थे और अब पर्यटक लुभाने की कहानी की तरह यूज़ते हैं, के पीछे का वैज्ञानिक कारण भी एक्सप्लेना है।

मेरे जैसे कुएँ के मेंढक को किताब से ही सही आइसलैंड की थोड़ी जानकारी हुई।

लिखने का अंदाज "फेसबुक की मस्ती" लेखन टाइप ही है।

समय काटने को एक बार पढ़ सकते हैं।

This book gives you lots of information about Iceland in humorous way. It was a fun journey to travel the Iceland with this book. The land which changes in every half an hour. It is full of ice and extraordinary situations. Besides continuous earthquakes and volcanos life is here so interesting. This land is called land of ghosts and the author explained it in very funny way. Author talks about the ancient language, culture, food, roads and continuous changing situation cause of earthquakes and volcanos. It's a nice ride. Give it a shot.

डॉ प्रवीण झा द्वारा लिखी यह किताब एक अच्छा यात्रा वृतांत है इसे जरूर पढ़ा जाना चाहिए। किताब रोचक शैली में लिखी गई है। किताब एक थीम को लेकर आगे बढ़ती है जो वहां के परिवेश और पुरातन विश्वासों से हमारा परिचय कराती है। किताब कि मुझे यह अच्छी बात लगती है कि यह व्यर्थ में लंबी नहीं खींची गई है।

The book was very entertaining. I learned a lot more about Iceland than I did the ghosts, which is what I was interested in. I could hardly believe the narrator was AI generated. He was good! I haven’t said that about any other AI voice on Audible. Usually they keep me from enjoying the book.

शुक्रिया भूतों के देश की सैर करवाने के लिए

बेहतरीन यात्रा संस्मरण लिखा डॉ. साहब आपने। यात्रा संस्मरण में भी एक किस्सागोई नज़र आई। जब आपकी यह पुस्तक किंडल पर रिलीस हुई थी, तभी इसे खरीद लिया था पर पढ़ने का मौका आज मिला क्योंकि इस नार सफर के लिए मैं कोई प्रिंटेड पुस्तक साथ नहीं लाया था। जब पढ़ना शुरू किया तो खत्म करके ही माना। वो एक कहावत है - छोटा पैकेट बड़ा धमाका। दिल्ली में इस बार दीवाली पर कोई आतिशबाजी तो नही की मैंने लेकिन इस किताब को पढ़ कर, इस यात्रा संस्मरण को पढ़कर, उस आतिशबाजी को रूबरू महसूस कर लिया। आपकी अगली पुस्तक का बेसब्री से इंतजार रहेगा।
