Just as great as the first one.
This is the third in the series. I loved each and everyone of them. But I have to say I simply adore Tristan. I love how how Alfa he is. How tender and so romantic.

Our characters come together while the rest of the characters are having their own stories. For these two they follow a friendship and keep in communication until it is time for their romance to take off. Cute story with sweet characters.

I enjoyed this title. I liked the characters, and I liked the overall story. I liked that they were together for most of the story, that the setup and the beginning of the relationship happened fairly quickly.
However, there was one part in the plot that I just could not get past. It's hard to detail it without spoilers...but, let me say, at least for me, there is a different in keeping a secret and lying. And, I thought Lauren crossed that, and I had a tough time moving to the other side of this.
The rest of the story, after this event, was actually focused around the lie she told, and the resolution of this lie and the subsequent events around the revelation of her secret. So, while I did enjoy it overall, I was stuck on that. And, I can't lie, it colored my impression of the rest of the story, and it made it difficult for me to relate to Lauren for the rest of the story.
I do recommend this title, especially as the issue I had with it was very likely something that will not bother someone else.
I am looking forward to the next title in the series.

OMG can you say swoon!!! Kaylee Ryan gave me all the feels in this story, and a new book boyfriend in Tristian!!

Tristan can recognize his flaws, “you okay?” I ask. I’m a ***k for not checking on her sooner, but darn, this is all-consuming." Tristan likes to give his woman a head's up on things, "I stick my tongue out at him like a child. “I have plans for that later.” He wags his eyebrows at me." I liked this book, I loved Tristan the man just had a big heart and was mush when it came to his woman.

TRISTIAN! Boy he is so sweet yet when it comes to Lauren he is pure alpha. I loved this book hard and was so happy to see book 3 in the Soul Serenade Series on my kindle!

Kaylee Ryan has done it again with a story that gave me all the feels and a new totally hot book boyfriend in Tristan. In this book we follow Tristan & Lauren’s story in the Soul Serenade series book 3 “Definite”. Lauren and Tristan’s love story is really sweet. In this story, it is hard to miss the love for one another and the intense attraction that they feel for each other. Tristan is a rock star who can be all alpha but he really is just all snuggle bear on the inside, especially when it comes to Lauren. They become fast friends after meeting and then very quickly exchanged phone numbers started calling each other and texting all the time. Tristan knew he met his one but Lauren doesn’t know what to make of quickness of their relationship. She is in disbelief over things. Can Tristan prove how serious he is about her and how badly he wants her in his life? Or will Lauren be the one that gets away ?
All I can say is this is one story that had me swooning and rooting for their HEA. Ms. Ryan has written a sweet and moving love story. Tristan is one true book boyfriend, one any woman would love to have in her life. Lauren is a strong, sweet, sassy woman who didn’t know what to make of the good fortune that had come into her life which caused some issues but made for awesome book reading. I loved the road this book took and cant wait to read more from this author, especially if there is more in the Soul Serenade series..

Kaylee has gotten me again. I finished this in one sitting. Y'all!! Tristan was a dream to read about. This rock star was a complete teddy bear when it came to Lauren. He knew he wanted Lauren and never not told her he was all in.
I was a little annoyed with Lauren in the beginning because of the hard time she was giving Tristan. Maybe I became a little overprotective of him? She got over it, I mean she had to because Tristan wasn’t letting her go anywhere!
And a fairytale it was! Once they got together I couldn’t stop reading because they were absolutely perfect! This gave me all the romance feels that my little heart could take.
Now there was a little bit of suspense that had me clutching my Kindle, but I won't ruin it for you.
All in all, another great book from Kaylee Ryan! Swoony men, a romance that will give you the feels, and I loved it.

This was a super cute and sweet book.
I have not read the first two books in this series, but I didn't feel like I was coming in blind because the way the author introduced the characters. The first time Lauren and Tristan meet at her grandpa's funeral and then a little later for an engagement party and then again at Logan and Kacen's wedding. I felt like I had all the details without reading the first two, but I am definitely ( ha ha get it..DEFINITE-LY) going to go back and read the first two now.
I am not usually a big fan of the super sweet Love fest, but the way the author wrote this book, it worked and kept me interested. I loved how Tristan didn't fail to hold back his feelings, he told her what it was when he realized he was all in. There was zero miscommunication and over the top drama. I am a big fan of no over the top drama!
Lauren was not a doormat female lead and I liked that. This was an easy read, and I really enjoyed it. This is only the second book I have read by this author but I will be checking out her other books for sure.

Drummers do it best!
The Soul Serenade series just gets better with each book. Tristin's story really was amazing. I believe this book is my favorite. You know how they say when you meet the "one" you'll know. For Tristan and Lauren that truly is a fact.

Kathleen Ryan has a way with words that instantly draws you on and keeps you captivated until you read "the end." Tristan and Lauren were a wonderful couple and I LOVED how much her worshipped her. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I love Alpha men who were their hearts on their sleeves. This was an AWESOME, heartwarming story!

I absolutely adored Tristan and Lauren. Definite is one of my favorite types of love stories. They stay together the whole time once they commit and there is no wishy washy second guessing once they get started, I loved it. These two start off as friends and over time they transition from friends to lovers and its done in the best possible way. Ryan definitely hit it out of the park with this one.
Tristan didn’t think love and relationships were for him, until he met Lauren. She drew him in with her sad big brown eyes the first time he saw her and he was hooked. They couldn’t have a conventional relationship in the beginning but it was pretty obvious that they wanted each other. Could he give up his life star as a rocker and get the girl or will he get to keep his love for music and get the girl?
Lauren is a good girl who has no intentions of doing anything with a bad boy. But over time her friendship with Tristan grows and she can’t help but invest her heart even if she thinks he’s not on the same page. Insert turning point and its game on for these two. will his crazy life be too much for these two? or will Lauren go through it all just to keep her once in a life time kind of love?
At times Lauren was wishy washy and it drove me batty, but when I stepped back I completely understood why she was the way she was. Tristan though, he was strong and steady. I loved him hard and his excitement was always undeniable. You also get to enjoy Tristan’s band members. I loved how they really were family and stuck together. I cannot wait for Gavin’s story.

EEEk! I loved Tristian and Lauren!!!!
Going into Definite, I assumed it would be the typical Rocker who's a playboy but I was mistaken. Definite is so much more than your typical run of the mill rock and roll novels and here's why. Tristian is legit a good guy. He starts the novel out as a good guy and ends as an even better guy. I loved how he was always there for Lauren, through it all. And trust me when I say Lauren definitely gave him a run for his money. Lauren is an independent woman who has just found out some life altering news. I loved the angst that came along with Lauren's situation. I felt her struggle. These two make for a very endearing couple.
The only reason I dropped a star was for the fact that this novel was on the fast paced side of the scale. I wanted more from certain scenes. This is just a preference for me. I did really love this novel and the characters. I loved the emotions portrayed, and lets not forget the trope in this novel is my all time favorite!!!!
Definite can totally be read as a standalone, but warning...after you finish Definite you're going to want to read the first two books in the series. I'm intrigued by all of the characters in the Soul Serenade Series. I can't wait to get my hands on these novels.

Lauren and Logan are cousins. Tristan is the drummer for Kacen's band. A chance meeting leads to an instant connection, and shared texts. They become friends, but no one knows.
Lauren assumes that because he is a Rocker, Tristan won't take what they have seriously. It's just one night. She tries her hardest to not get her feelings involved. But hearts don't work that way, and life doesn't always go the way you expect it to.
Tristan doesn't know what he's feeling, or where it's going to lead, but he knows that he wants something with Lauren. However, life doesn't always give you time to figure out exactly what you want or how you want it to play out before its moving too fast to catch up.
I love how Tristan does what he has to do to move Lauren around to his way of thinking. Once he made his mind up about how something was going to be, he just did it, no questions asked! I also loved how supportive, and patient he was with Lauren. SWOON!
This book is one big surprise after another! I loved visiting with the characters from the other books, and catching up with their lives. Along with the surprises, there are a lot of laughs, and more than a few tears. Once again, Kaylee Ryan has given us an emotional read that is going on the top of my reread list!

I’ve read quite a few books from Kaylee Ryan and I’ve really enjoyed all of them. This is the first book I’ve read from this series and I will definitely be going back to read the first two! Tristan and Lauren were fantastic characters and their journey was enthralling.
I loved how down to Earth Tristan, and the rest of the band, was. They were all so sweet and caring. The way they interacted with one another was really special and added so much to the story. In addition to the group dynamics, Tristan and Lauren were perfect. I loved the build from friendship to more.
I don’t want to spoil anything so I am not going into detail, but this story included one of my favorite tropes and Ryan did it so well. I loved how she included an element of suspense too. I do wish this aspect played a bit of a bigger role but the way she did it had us almost forgetting about it until something happened. It made it a bit more of a surprise.
I just one-clicked Emphatic and I’m excited to dive into that one. I’m eager to see where the story began.

Definite by Kaylee Ryan was a nice surprise. This is the first book in her Soul Serenade series I have read and loved it! This can be read a standalone, though I am definitely going back and reading/listening to the first two books in the series as soon as I can.
When Lauren and Tristan met, they exchanged numbers and quickly become friends through calls and texting. But when Tristan wants more, Lauren has a hard time believing it. Lauren cared deeply for Tristan, but second guessed herself a lot. Tristan though was determined, strong and patient. I loved him from the start! He was both a strong alpha man and do damn sweet!
As a drummer of a band, Tristan life did not easily allow for a committed relationship, but once he met Lauren and got to know her, he knew he wanted more. I found Definite to be such a sweet and charming read with all the right feels. I only discovered Kaylee Ryan last year and she has quickly become a must-read author for me.

This was seriously the cutest book ever. I really enjoyed Lauren's character after she got over the fact that Tristan was a rock star. Which thankful wasn't long at all.
I loved Tristan. I loved the fact that he fell so hard for Lauren and she was all he thought about.

This is the third book in the Soul Serenade Series. I absolutely love this story! This is Tristan and Lauren’s story. At first I didn’t like Lauren, but that later changed during the story. He’s a drummer in a band. She is a cousin of a band members wife. They become friends and spend months texting and talking on the phone. Can he convince her that she means more to him? This is a book that I highly recommend. I’m going back soon to read the first two books in this series. I received an advanced reader copy for an honest review.

Fantastic book
Oh my...I absolutely loved this book. The Soul Serenade boys might be heartbreakers in the past, but once they find their girls it’s game over. We’ve seen through the previous books how much Tristan was gone for Lauren but wow he was really taken right from the first time he met her. This book is a journey of love, mistakes and joy. It made laugh and cry. I had my heart nearly breaking at one point! Oh what a fabulous story. I cannot wait for Gavins book now.
Oh my...I absolutely loved this book. The Soul Serenade boys might be heartbreakers in the past, but once they find their girls it’s game over. We’ve seen through the previous books how much Tristan was gone for Lauren but wow he was really taken right from the first time he met her. This book is a journey of love, mistakes and joy. It made laugh and cry. I had my heart nearly breaking at one point! Oh what a fabulous story. I cannot wait for Gavins book now.

Definite by Kaylee Ryan
Definite is book #3 in the Soul Serenade series. I felt like this was a standalone as this is the first book I’ve read by this author. It will not be the last as I want to read the next book which is Gavin’s story and the other ones prior to this as well.
Now where to begin!! Oh my Lanta let me just start with the cover phew eye candy right there! Ok now back to the review, sorry it can be distracting but good distracting haha. The beginning of the story is where Tristan first lays his eyes on Lauren. He is first to start a conversation. Lauren though doesn’t see why he would since he is the drummer, a rock star and she is just a restaurant manager. Lauren’s cousin Logan who is getting married to Kacen who is also a member of the band. At the wedding that is where Lauren and Tristan flirt, dance and filled with laughter- it was a good-time and the two of them keep in touch. All the band members are like family and care for each other which is something I really enjoyed. Will these two be able to have a relationship? One-click this today to find out!!
This story was beautifully well written. It hooked me right in. The characters felt real. The emotions while reading this are real! I was happy, laughing, mad, sad, and even shed a tear or two. Definite is the type of romance story that you want to read about, it’s not all hot and bothered with sexy scenes it’s about two people who care for each other and the passion between them is undeniable!
Parts of the story I liked:
“I don’t know what we are, but it’s definitely more than friends. I can feel it in my bones. No matter how hard I try to tell myself otherwise, I know its there simmering between us.”

I was sooo looking forward to this one - Tristian's story was something I was hanging for and the ever amazing Kaylee Ryan did not disappoint!!!
I love the family connection between Lauren and Logan - I felt that, knowing they were cousins, somehow made the connection between Lauren and Tristian all that more important because really, you aren't going to fool around with someone's family unless you are 110% committed to that person!
I adored how the relationship between Tristian and Lauren started as friendly text banter and then, over time, became so much more!
Don't get me wrong I am all about insta-love as well...I don't judge, I just enjoy... but, it was a sweet change seeing their connection develop over time too!
The way their friendship is kept secret goes such a long way to explaining how serious this could be between them both with neither prepared to jeopardise hurting their family until they are sure!
But...in saying that, some things can't be planning or orchestrated so when life throws you a curve ball - well you really just gotta play the game you're in right?!
Tristian was such a joy to read!
So confidant in his feelings and what he wants - it was refreshingly sweet and beautiful to read!
He had love and support for Lauren in spades and she was such a great character to be on the receiving end of it!
I adored both these two and for me, Definite, was just another prefect instalment into a series that I absolutely love!
Once again, Kaylee Ryan has written a book that so perfectly blends each character from previous book into the storyline seamlessly!
I adore catching up on Kacen and Logan, Cole and Stacey and the way they are written into Tristian and Lauren book was everything!

If I had to label Kaylee Ryan, she would wear the crown and hold the title for "Queen of Fairytales." Her novels are filled with swoon-worthy, stand-up heroes, and sassy heroines. In her third installment of the Soul Serenade Series, Kaylee Ryan delivers another fairytale romance as the playboy drummer falls head over drumsticks for the definite Lauren.
Tristan and Laurens's story was a whirlwind romance. They became friends after a tragic loss on Laurens end, and quickly let their feelings get the best of them; however, that's only the beginning. One thing I adore about this novel was Tristan's strong and steady heart. He loved Lauren and was determined to prove that she was the one for him. He eased every insecurity her mind cooked up and surprised her at every turn. He was a true gentleman.
Even though I did love this book, if you've read my reviews in the past, then you know I'm an angst freak. I live for the angsty build up, the push and pull, and the inevitable heartbreak, and sweet make-up. And while Definite was cute, sweet, and sexy it felt a bit rushed to me; or at least in the beginning. We didn't get to live in the moments where everything was new and delicate, we were just told, and that was a little disappointing on my end and made it hard to connect with the characters.
Overall, I loved this story. It's a sweet and light read that will leave your heart melting.

This is another amazing read from this author, but I expect nothing less! This is the third book in the series but I don’t think it could be read as a standalone. This story follows Tristan and Lauren, Tristan is in a famous band, he meets Lauren at a funeral and is drawn to her instantly. They exchange numbers and keep in touch with texts and late night calls. Lauren doesn’t believe a famous rock god would want to be with her, Tristan has to fight to change her mind. That’s all I’m giving you folks! Tristan is everything I imagined he would be, a few times I wanted to smack Lauren over the head because of some of her decisions but I grew to love her over the course of the book!
This is one of my favourite authors, I would read anything she writes without reading the blurb first, you know that you’re going to get a hot alpha male who turns to mush for his woman! If you haven’t read anything by this author before, do yourself a favour, one click today.

The Soul Serenade series by Kaylee Ryan is back with the third standalone installment and I gotta tell you...this sweet drummer completely stole my heart! Tristan is here y'all and it's guaranteed he's gonna steal your heart. Kaylee is known for having some good guys but I think Tristian might be the swooniest one yet.
He says he's definite. She's not sure she can trust him. One night leads to more than they ever could have imagined.
Definite was so so good. A sexy, sweet, lighter yet at times emotional romance, this book captivated me right from the very start and once I started, I got lost in their story. Lauren and Tristian's journey was full of ups, a few downs, a complication or two, and some great moments but for every moment, every decision, every feeling... it led them to forever.
Grab this series and fall for one guy at the time.
I highly recommend this series.

I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this book and chose to review it.
3.5 stars
I love Kaylee Ryan. She’s one of the few authors I’ve read all of their work, but I feel this book was a little rushed.
I know that Lauren and Tristan have a relationship prior to the start of this book, but we don’t really get to see it. We don’t see the changing of Tristan from a bad boy rocker, to a lovesick guy, which to me is the best bit. We also don’t see the first time they’re together. It’s all very rushed.
I also found Lauren hard to warm up to. She’s so insecure, which I get, but after a while i just wanted to shake her and tell her she got him, quit worrying.
Something I would’ve liked to have seen expanses is the Tracy storyline. I wanted it to be longer, more examples, give me something to truly think about.
That said, it was a solid addition.

Amazing read!
This book had me crying at multiple points through out! Tristan and Lauren were drawn to each other from the start. Tristan never wanted to hide what they were, but Lauren didn't see how a true and lasting relationship was possible. A year later she is still struggling with her feelings for him, just finds out she is pregnant and Tristan (without knowing about the baby) is tired of hiding what they feel for one another. Basically the set up for an emotional rollercoaster.
Kaylee Ryan has done it again, written a story that draws the reader in and allows us to experience all this along side her characters in a way that compells you to keep reading.
This is the third book in the Soul Serenade series, while it is not necessary to read the others in the series to read this one, it is highly recommended to get the full enjoyment out of it.
