The public house or PUB has always been common ground a place where every person in town could come together, have a few drinks, discuss ideas, and hash out their disagreements. It is no secret the paranormal field is plagued by controversy, conflict, and confusion. Because of this I ve established Pub Paranormal. Within its walls the spirits are flowing, spirits are high, and the topic of spirits (among other things) is explored without judgment or ridicule. This book is a collection of cocktails created in the bars I ve worked at and frequented over the past two decades. I ve paired them with my experiences and theories about ghosts, aliens, psychic powers, investigation practices, mythical creatures, and mysterious sites found on this and other planets. This is not a field guide or a How-to ghost hunt book. Don t expect answers. All you ll find here are ideas and opinions to ignite conversation. There s room for everyone, so grab a seat, order a round, and let s raise our glasses to the paranormal.
My storytelling career started at a young age on the east coast. After college I, much like the gold prospectors of 1849, packed up all my belongings and drove across country in search of riches. What I discovered were a wealth of stories. When I'm not working on the next adventure in the Edgar Font series (Rothko Press, LA), I spend my time exploring ancient sites, traveling to places with names we can’t pronounce, and meeting interesting people with great tales to tell.
If my face looks familiar you might have seen me as the lead paranormal investigator on the Syfy hit show, "Ghost Mine," as the host of Reelz Channel's "Behind the Screams," or on my new show "Man vs The Paranormal," which is premiering in 2017.
