She will fight for what is hers. When Katerina unlocks her secret power and sets the entire royal army ablaze, the stakes to an already dangerous game soar even higher. As her brother gathers his bannermen to destroy her once and for all, the princess must appeal to the people themselves.
And not just the people. If she wants to take back the throne, she’ll need the entire supernatural community by her side.
In a race against time, Katerina and her friends scour the countryside. Forging new alliances and making new enemies at the same time. Their path is dangerous enough, without the dark wizard working against them, and Katerina soon discovers that things aren’t always as they seem.
Can the princess rally the support of her people? Can she reconcile the girl she once was, with the queen she must become? With all the odds stacked against her…
…can she ever take back the throne?
Be careful who you trust. Even the devil was once an angel.
The Queen's Alpha Series: Eternal Everlasting Unceasing Evermore Forever
Wanita May grew up in the fruit belt of Ontario - St.Catharines. Crazy-happy childhood, she always has had a vivid imagination and loads of energy.
The youngest of six -- four older brothers, and a sister -- taught her at a young age to be competitive in all aspects of life.
At sixteen, she began competing in athletics (track and field) and before she turned seventeen, she was representing Canada in high jump. She continued to compete, breaking Canada's JR High Jump record (1.92m - 6' 3 1/2" for those metric-ly challenged). She attented University of Toronto, and Kansas State University - winning CIAU's and becoming All-American 6x - NCAA Indoors Runner Up + more.
But you're not interested in her athletic career - unless of course you're curious to know she stands 1.70m (5'7") and has jumped 20cm over her head on more than one occassion. She's represented Canada at the World Championships, World Jrs., won Francophone Games, and loved every minute of every competition. From the grueling workouts, the crazy weights she lifted on her back, the days she thought her lungs were going to spit out of her mouth for lack of oxygen, the travelling around the world and the opportunity to read - her favourite past time.
Life continued with her husband (a distance runner from Liverpool, UK, who she met at KSU) and then their first, then second and finally third child. Their house became full of more imagination and stories.
Wanita and her husband run an online business, dealing in antiques and collectables - particularly jewelry and porcelain (one of the business' website: www.wadeincanada.com ).
After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.
Her first book, Rae of Hope - from the Chronicles of Kerrigan - will be available October 2011 by kNight Romance Publishing.
She is currently represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency. Wanita is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.
Unlike the previous books in this series this one doesn't have much personal growth for our heroin. At the end of Unceasing we discover she's not just a princess, she's a dragon! But alas theres not much of her dragon in this book, I gather from subtext she fears she wont be able to shift into it again early on. There is however a lot of growth for our hero Dylan, W.J has done an excellent job opening him up to Katerina about his past with Cassiel's sister, something that changed him dramatically. Another member has been added to the group & while I'm still uncertian about her, I believe she may have value later on in the series. And then we have the rebel camp Pora, this was an excellent twist; allowing Kat yet another insight into how her people have lived under her father rule. Petra is kinda scary & I for one would love to know how she came to be a rebel leader. Adian a vampire is sent with the group as her emissary & already we've seen that he has a pure heart, while his species isn't much of a strong point it makes you wonder how he ended up this way. I mean he saves lives where we are lead to believe most vampire will just take them. Again were left with a cliff hanger, but this one makes me wonder why, what happened for this to be the way Evermore ends? Theres are just so many questions I'm hoping W.J May will answer in Forever..
I really like this series, but I'm also slightly irritated at the whole "let's have a drink", "let's get whiskey", "four hours later we had already drunk 6 bottles". Oh and also, as usual I hate whiny heroines. There's always a point where I lose interest in a series. And right now at the end of book 4 this is the case. She transforms into a dragon, but can only do it when she's calm or wait, no, just before it was mentioned that she needs strong emotions. But then she's paralyzed with fear and she can't do nothing, blablabla. For me this series starts to have too many inconsistencies. And there's typos in the 3€ Kindle versions I bought on Amazon. And there are changes of places and situations without introduction. It all seems kind of unfinished?
I won't continue this series unfortunately. I also start to realise that there are so many books in this series, each around 200 pages (which is a short story for me), and it feels like a rip off. Apologies to say so. There's not enough in these 200 pages that holds me captivated to continue.

Oh hellll yeah a vampire is in the party now ???? Time for me to be EVEN MORE INVESTEDD.. I like Rose don't get me wrong. But why does it feel like she's forreal trying to get everyone killed LOLLL. The scene where Kat was high was rlly funny though idc. Aummmmmm I enjoyed the part at Pora even though i forgot the baddie's name (it's been a very stressful week in my life),,, the ending was a shock and super excited. It was a good book, I have been having a lot of fun with this series :).
You got to know that when everything is out to get you that no matter how much you plan it's all going to go up in smoke. And our poor clan of friends has had their share of crap situations. Let alone where they get left off at the end of the book! I just have to get back to reading :)
I LOVED THIS SERIES! My ONLY critique is that I wish she hadn't mentioned twinkling eyes so much my. I read this book and series very quickly many of them in one sitting, and found myself dreaming of it's characters, yelling at them or for them, laughing, crying, I just got complete caught up on each book.
So the adventure continues and we learn loads more about Kat’s boyfriend. This is where the author starts stepping up. More action and the stakes are higher. The story is getting better and better. I think this adventure is good for 15 and older.
First off, I want to say that I really like the covers of all 4 books its what made me stop and check out this series. That being said I am not continuing with it. I very much enjoyed the first 4 books, it has a very good story line but it is way to YA/NA for me.
Think I'm sold on this series, really enjoying it but still feel they would be a more promient series in the market if the two fo the books were merged to make less books in teh series but they are chunkier. Saying that, just a personal preference, doesn't detract from the story.
I am very much enjoying the story, the adventure, the characters! It is very good. I have come across several contradictory parts, typos, and misspells but the story is worth it.
I can’t get enough of these characters and this plot line. I’m absolutely hooked. It’s written very well with a brilliant performance from Zac, it’s a must for all paranormal lovers.
Rolicing fantasy with beautiful princesses, bold rangers, and magical shape shifters. Dubious literary value, but fun, fast moving tale. A great escape!
It's a highly addictive, thrilling series full of adventure. It's easy to get lost into the story and the atmosphere of this world. Highly recommend!!!
This book was a great read but did move a little slower than the previous books in the series. More political. In this book, Kat is building relationships in order to usurp her brother and take back her kingdom. Great fast read.
