No no no no no! I was glued to my kindle at midnight waiting till my pre order uploaded so I could get the final book in this story and now its the cliffy to beat all cliff hangers. AND YOU CANT EVEN TELL ME WHEN THE NEXT BOOK IS COMING OUT!!!! not cool Alexandria. Not cool.
Again, I am a bit disappointed in this series. The first book showed such promise, but the 2nd and 3rd books could have easily been combined without the mental vomit that continually repeats the same things over and over again.
There is also the matter of grammar. As the series moves on, there are more and more mistakes. Words inserted or missing in several places creates a jagged halt in the flow and leaves the reader pondering what they just read rather than moving on.
Despite all that, it still keeps the reader wanting more. I think a good editor should be brought in to clean this up, not just grammar, but the I consistencies as well and then it could be a better series.
For my clean readers: mild violence and violence, romance in the form of kissing.
This book and the 2 previous in this series were very enjoyable. Full of action a great deal of action with a lot of mystery through out the series. This is a 4 book series you should not miss out on. I am waiting for book 4 !
Wow! This book is fantastic! Every installment of this series is even better than the last!
As expected, I read it in one siting and almost died when I read the cliffhanger in the end! I will be counting the days until the next book and final conclusion of this amazing series is released!
I wish I could share my notes on this book. It was somewhat foretelling since the interaction with that Braky long ago, saying “you look just like her”, I am paraphrasing, obviously. But damn, I wish I had my sh*t together. I just finished reading it, and I am furiously writing this down, and the cover on my keyboard has fled the scene.
Honestly, I still remember how the previous book ended, and the one before it… J, how I hate her dad, probably the character that made me go for it in the speed of light, cause I wanted him dead. Well, not so fast. You will be disappointed if you are expecting that in this volume. Oomph… where to start?
After her brother’s betrayal and the escape back to Unfaih, Sloane is left worried about both worlds colliding, and struggling to understand how her father and brother knew about the Liftsal. Oh well… remember my comment a while back? That’s how. Without trying NOT to be super spoiler-y, when the first rift was severed a few millennia ago, a girl was left on Earth. My mind believes it to be Sloane and Rowena’s mother, grandma, great-grandma — of one of the Elders' daughter or wife (who am I kidding, it said on the book but you have to read it!). Argh. Damn, I am phrasing this whole thing wrong… I am still high as a kite from this volume alone. Can’t I just go ahead and comment, “Your hatred for the dad AND brother will make it worthwhile… you will finish this series in no-time!”. It can’t right? Here’s what’s next for this review: the next paragraph will try to deliver this review in a composed fashion way...
The Oblivion Stone will deliver hope on helping defeat the humans planning to attack Rhyn’s world. With everyone helping each other (one world and the other), the stone will somewhat reborn (won’t tell you how they found it, you get to read it), and the battle will issue, truths will come to light, and a shocking stabbing will make you hit “buy next” to see how everything ends. The battle has been won, but there are too many enemies roaming about, and the war has just begun
