Has your peace been stolen? Dreams crushed? Hope lost? Life has a way of not turning out the way we want.

Not so much a study but a work of introspection. The questions are almost like journaling, and for me, it was good because it made me think about issues and things I hadn't thought of in a long time. It wasn't so much dredging up the past as it was an inspection of my walk with God from its beginning to today. It was not difficult and not about having the right answers but allowing the participant to write down how they feel about the topics from false teachers to God's overall control of the earth and everything in it.

I had started this awhile ago and never finished it as I started s couple other studies fir groups I'm in. I found it this week and finished up the last couple lessons. Great reminders that God is always in control and can be trusted. Thankful for Max Lucado's straightforward teachings and thoughtful questions.

Completed this book as a study guide for our Sunday School class bible study. It was a very good book for our discussion with many applications for today’s living. A light study with much to offer. I recommend this book and I suppose others in the study series by Lucado for small group studies. It could also be used in discipleship relationships. Good book!

Thank goodness we’re finally done with this one. Just to clarify, 1 and 2 Peter get 5 stars. Zero stars for whichever Mac Lucado intern was assigned to copy and paste completely irrelevant excerpts from his other books. Cash grab if I’ve ever seen one.
