This vol was sorta boring as well hope the next vol picks up

With the White Whale aka Gluttony taking Rem in the last volume Subaru pushes on to warn everyone of the dangers to come and discovers it was as if she didn't exist in the first place as though the whale wiped her from existence completely. Desperation takes Subaru as he decides to warn Emilia regardless of the danger to him. However with the increasing darkness within him an unexpected reaction form the curse happens ultimately leading to another lesson from Puck before learning his final lesson from Rem after he returns to life after Puck froze him and the madness creeped into Subaru.
Now free of the influence of the White Whale in the past Subaru breaks down to Rem breaks down to Rem whom he thought he lost after know one could remember her after confronting the whale. I can see why so many people fall in love with Rem as she explains to Subaru that regardless of all the faults in himself that she saw his many good aspects and she would continue to remind him for he was her hero and wished to see him smile once more regardless of the crushing pain he had recently felt as all his plans failed. The message by the end of the volume gives me hope that things will start turning for the better at this point but only time will tell if Rem will be able to truly be able to save Subaru and in turn that he can save the others with his sinful power.
An interesting part of the volume would have to be Beatrice sending Subaru away when he asks her to kill him knowing time will restart once more. She shows regret at the request and mentions something about her mother after sending him away to die on his own if he chooses to do so. Whoever is the mother of Beatrice is I hope will lead into something interesting in the future. :)

Some plates are masterfully gloomy. I hope the amnesia that affects some characters when Subaru returns is clarified. Beatrice is hiding something. Rem is really sweet and has an incredible spirit of self-sacrifice. If I were Rem, I would have punched Subaru!
