While the first meet between Micah and Julian might have been funny (in a twisted way since she's having a really bad day at work and now finds herself covered in mud), ultimately I just didn't like these characters enough to continue the story.

Micah and Julian , oh my I love a good enemies to lovers tale and Boyfrenemy was that and so much more.
Micah is a gal that has lived most of her life in the big city. She has now found herself working in small town government in a little place where everyone knows anyone! She has the power and knowledge to grant the expansions of small town business in this little town. She is a rule follower with a brilliant business sense and will not be swayed by a handsome face or back down from an argument. Although she have just met the most infuriating man on the planet and he wants his plans for a new barn put though to heck with polices and procedures.
Julian has been helping to run the family farm his entire life. When the plan he submits to expand and stay afloat is shot down he knows he is ready for a fight. He can wait to get his hands on the new zoning officer ...little does he know is that he will want more than his hands on her!
Mistaken identity turns theses two strangers into enemies powered by strong words and insults. He soon realizes that this sassy gal will not back down and Julian begins to take off the kids gloves and get down and dirty. Their is a fine line between love and hate and these two are about to fall right over it! They are explosive together their witty banter is sexually charged and fabulously funny

Julian and Micah always seem to rub each other the wrong way. To bad they need each other to reach their individual goals. They need to learn to put aside their differences to achieve what they want, or in the end will what they want is each other?
Julian and Micah are true opposites but are a perfect example of why opposites attract. These two can't seem to be in the same space without fireworks going off. This story is mix of undeniable attraction between two of the most stubborn people, add in a lot of hurled insults with snappy comebacks and that makes for a very entertaining journey to a love that can't be denied. The dysfunctional family dynamics and quirky towns folk makes this story that much more enjoyable. This is book 2 in the Payne siblings series, and I can't wait to see who's up next.

What happens when an uptight City girl has the say over whether a country farm boy can move forward with his family's farm renovations? Well of course they hop in the sack together. Some crazy antics, towns folk and family are all thrown in to this whirlwind of a story. You also get a glimpse at each of the siblings to find out what their personalities are and make you hungry to read their story.

It's a thin line between, love, hate and lust. Boyfrenemy goes beyond toeing that line. Julian and Micah are hotter than an inferno. Their battles are epic, the attraction is nuclear and the consequences are fatal. To the heart of course. The war was never the draw. That comes from watching the mighty fall. Humorous, hearty fun.

Micah Robinson💋💃 works for the city, in building permits and zoning . She attempts to contact Julian Payne🐺🍆🌋, a land owner whose barn has burned down.
She has determined he cannot rebuild without permits because he waited too long after the barn burned,🔥 so he lost his grandfathered rights. Plus the barn, if rebuilt in the same place, is encroaching on the property line.
Micah💋💃 goes out to talk to him because he won't come to her office. She's a girly girl💋💃, and also a stickler for rules and regulations.
The first thing that happens, is she falls in the muddy driveway, ruining her expensive shoes and her dress, even her designer 👛purse gets coated.
Julian🐺🍆🌋 gives no quarter, and at the end of their shouting match, Micah💋💃 tells him, he'll never get his permits because he's a big jerk!

When Julian meets the person who stands in his way of rebuilding his barn (his dreams), he doesn't expect her to be a beautiful, mud covered woman. Let's just say their meeting wasn't exactly solicitous, but soon enough the two are rolling around in bed and knocking Micah up. Oops! And when Julian realizes he has feelings for the contrary pain in his rear end, how does Micah react? Not well unfortunately. Thank God Julian has a plan to get his woman back!
Boyfrenemy is that perfect kind of enemies to lovers story. It's super sexy and the snark and the banter between Micah and Julian is spot on - deliciously sharp and cutting, but never veering over the line into just plain mean. The added benefit of a surprise pregnancy ups the ante and the two really don't know what to do with each other, making the tension between them all the more engaging. Can't wait for the next Payne brother's story!

Boyfrenemy is the second book in the Payne brothers series but can be read as a standalone.
Micah and Julian's story is an absolute fantastic book about enemies that turn into something so right but has a LOT of interesting things happen in between.
I think this is my new favourite Sosie Frost book.
I could feel her emotions written in her words and sense everything had gone into writing this book.
LG was credited in this book for inspiration,I would like to thank LG and Sosie for giving us a fantastic book that had me laughing out loud numerous times,shouting at my kindle when Julian and Micah were being pig headed and for giving her readers some fantastic banter and incredible chemistry between these two characters.
I absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend you one click it straight away.

Micah is a woman who lives by rules and regulations. She must make sure every I is dotted and T is crossed. She has a life plan and nothing is going to get in her way. Especially a dirty talking, rule breaking cowboy with a broke down farm and a barn to build. Julian wants to make his farm work but he needs a barn. The barn goes again code and his only access is Micah. There first meeting is less than stellar but pretty funny. The start out hating each other but also are insanely attracted to each other. The story just becomes more fun and wacky as it goes. Sexy and fun; two things that make this story great. Loved the characters and the story line. Enjoyed the entire book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series

Boyfrenemy by Sosie Frost a funny and compelling five-star read, this is the second book in the Payne brothers series but they can be read as stand-alone, I have read and loved both so I may be bias. As I would say read both but I love a series. The chemistry and friction between the main characters Michah and Julian they really are straddling the line between love and hate and its not a little white picket version. I love a enemies to lovers story and this was a very good example, the writing flowed and the relationships were witty and believable. This book will be one FINE Payne in your behind that you wont want to get rid of easily.

I thought this was okay. I didn't like this one as much as the first one in this series. Julian and Micah have good chemistry in the bedroom, but I'm not sure that I like them as a couple out of it. Julian is a jerk to Micah from the start. He doesn't really see anyone else's point of view, and doesn't care to. I kept waiting for him to get better, but I really didn't feel it. I really want this family to start getting along again, but I'm not sure what it's going to take. I want to find out what happens with the other brothers, so I will be reading the next book in this series.

Enemies to lovers, stubborn fear and arrogance abound
Boyfrenemy by Sosie Frost is a classic case of opposites attracting, stubborn refusal and fear-driven decisions.
This book is literally half hilarious back and forth sexually charged insults and half hilarious grudgingly accepting the sexually charged attraction.
Julian Payne, the town’s favored son, is arrogant, frustrating, condescending and then eventually sweet (subtly) and protective. Micah, a head-strong, fiercely independent and driven by fear to be compulsively organized and cannot deal with deviations to her life plan.
Julian and Micah need each other for multiple reasons while neither truly sees or accepts what truly brings them together repeatedly. As they spend time together, their individual problems and concerns are explored and are significant to the storyline and plot.
Boyfrenemy has more going on than just Julian and Micah and Sosie Frost has set this book up nicely for a series (Payne siblings!).
Sosie Frost truly has a knack for writing authentic dialogue! She had me doubting that Julian and Micah would EVER interact in any way other than insults and ambivalence. They eventually get there and there is an HEA (Phew!).
Overall, a very well-written book that will grab your attention and keep it to the very end.

laughed so much
Sosie, Sosie, Sosie.
This book was way funnier then Babyjacked. I loved the chemistry and the dialogue between Rem and Cassi, But Jules and Micah story started with a Bang Literally(So much Mud 😆😆😆) These two had me laughing So hard I almost fell off my bed. I truly enjoyed the back in forth of thier little Sexual interplay with each other. Especially when she was trying to tell him she was pregnant. Your corn dog... and my funnel cake accidentally deep fried an Oreo🤔🤔,.And his reply: when did you figure out I fried your chicken 😂😂😂😂. And the two old people when she lost her panties and knew they were in the town's meeting 😆😆😆😆. And then the two older people in the meeting about the Fair was way TOO HILARIOUS she asked about Bridge and the other commented with she said she is having a Affair🤣🤣🤣🤣. OMG almost used the bathroom on myself. Sosie this was a Freaking Sepctular, Awesome story love. If the these two books are any indication on Excellent the Payne brothers stories are, I can't wait to read the next Chapter in thier Life. Things don't always go as planned!
That is what Micah Robinson and Julian Payne found out fast and in a hurry. Their first meeting was less than stellar and everything that could go wrong did. Even their second chance meeting in the local bar went the same way, but that third time in Micah's office was explosive and set the stage for the rest of their lives. They could not stand each other and at the same time they were sooooooo unexplainably drawn to each other. Jules found himself doing everything he could to help Micah so he could get the variance for the barn rebuild he needed for the family farm.
The author wrote a cute and funny rom com about two people trying to understand their unexplainable attraction to each other along with their own family dysfunctions. Their tit for tat banter with each other was so funny and imaginative. It was nice to see the mention of Jules' sister Cassie Payne and her love interest Rem Marshall from Babyjacked.
In the end, Micah and Jules worked through the situations that were keeping them apart from their HEA and Jules was able to repair the relationships with his warring brothers.
If you like rom coms, this is the story for you.

1.50 Stars. This story is awful. Awful. Awful. This is not a story about the reacquaintance of long ago adverseres nor ‘insta-hate’ between newly introduced strangers; it is errand slap stick comedy-period. Micah Robinson meets Julian Payne when she comes to his family’s farm in her capicity as the county auditor to advise him of what is needed in order for him to be grant a permit to rebuild the barn that was burned down in the first book of this series. She’s a bougie kind of girl and he’s a down and dirty county hick kind of guy and it is from these points of view that the relentless insults and snarky banter eninate. She gets stuck in the mud ruining her expensive clothes, he jumps in to help and they then spend the rest of the story tripping and falling and deliberately spilling drinks and her socking him in the jaw or kneeing him in the groin; if that’s not enough, add continuous snarky banter during sex to the daily dose of snark in public. There’s plenty of crappy lust; but romantic chemistry and love, non existent. Awful story-as I said earlier. KUB # 11

Plan on Falling in Love
I just love the way the battling so hard they made holes in the walls and broke the shelves brothers came together to hold onto their home, and build their family. A baby can't make people love, but a baby can enhance a love that is there, and the Paynes love each other. They may not know how to Express their feelings, share their hurts, or confess their fears, but they know how to be there when it counts. The Paynes are exactly the family Micah needs. She had the character, she tried to do what was right, and schedule everything. Julian taught her how to live, and accept her happiness. I'm really loving the Ironfield crew but the Js have it because this far, Jack and Julian are my favorites

Hate to love
This is the second book in the Payne brother series and it was a fun read. I would recommend reading the first book before this one because it sets up the story and if you don't read you will miss out on understanding the characters emotions and reasons for doing certain things. We have Julian and Micah in this story and omg the banter between these 2 was fun to read. While the banter is funny this book still makes you feel up and downs and keeps you wanting to know who it will all turn out. The end of the book really surprised me and I can't wait to see where the next book takes us!!!

When is the movie coming out. Wow. I want tickets
I read the first book babyjacked and fell in love with the characters. But with Boyfrenemy...WOW. There was not one part I didn't enjoy. I was taken to several different emotions. The passion was raw and real. The confrontational conversation between the to main characters Micah and Julian had me laughing in tears. And the the conversation with the PAYNE sibling hurt my sides. I could even try to sneak and read at work because of laughing so damn hard. Looking forward to reading book 3. You are a fabulous writer and I enjoy you passion tremendously.

A Good Good Time Was Had!
Every time I read something from this writer I know it's going to be an adventure!Th is such a good story you are going to be immediately captured.The writer as usual weaves such a wonderful story that you are going to hate that it has to end.All the parts of a good old-fashioned romance is at work and you get every bit of the sizzling heat that jumps from the pages.The comedic timing is so spot on the you are j y st going to bust a gut and cry a few tears.This is good solid writing and a wonderful way to spend your reading time.

I know I don't care for "enemies to lovers" but that's generally what Sosie Frost writes and I've liked Frosts books - and I didn't get far but it was just too much.
Like... the heroine is ALWAYS so ridiculous TSTL in so many Frost books; and if you know me/my reading you know EVERY detail gets my attention, so WTF was with this 6" of mud that she had to "crawl through to get out of" - and it went to her knees.
Like ... I'm a shorty and my knees are well above 6" off the ground.
And then with the "hero" and ... just nope. *sigh*

It's Baf
This is in some ways a typical, bad boy falls for uptight heroine. It is too extreme for me though. This is supposed to be a hate to love, only their first physical encounter is clearly all hate and no consent involved. The hero has not realistic plans for income and the heroine is chastised for having a career and some plans around it. She's supposed to be well organized and a planner but she comes off as irrational and hysterical most of the time. It was not enjoyable.

The Payne’s
Such a thin line between love and hate! I laughed through this entire book. I’m not a big fan of a bunch of stories in one titled book but this was so enjoyable. All the stories were pretty darn good. I borrowed this and bought it midway. The Payne boys had me giggling. I know it’s only going to get a lil worse first. I enjoyed the third story It was also a good lil read. I really liked the HEA and I’m looking forward to the next book, series etc.

Kiss and then Kill and then Kiss Some More
It's an enemies-to-lovers story, where Micah the zoning officer, clashes with Payne patriarch and former football player, Julian-- and they clash over, and over, again. Both characters are utterly ridiculous stereotypes at the beginning, and the banter is more awkwardly fast, than witty. But as they both even out a bit, and more is revealed, it gets easier to root for them getting a happy ending.

Difficult
I was unable to finish this title considering that we are now in the day of the "Me Too" movement. The main male character was a despicable, sexist, albeit humorous, chauvinist pig who relentlessly sexually harassed the female heroine. There was nothing romantic about how he pursued this woman. I think authors of this genre need to bear in mind that sexual
harassment is not to be taken lightly, even in fiction.

Finally!!!
Julian is a typical Payne man. They all have to accept they are only responsible for a fraction of what they think is wrong with their farm and family. This book started with the Julian and Micah interaction. The writing seemed forced at the start. The story got better and the depth of the plot grew. There are a few surprises that fueled the flames and build the heat level. This book is a good read that you will definitely enjoy!

Love love love the Payne brothers
This book is amazing. You get all the feels when reading it. The part where he thinks she is a hooker is probably a favor part for me. There really aren't words to tell you how good this book is. You just have to read it and thank the book God's that you did. Love Sosie Frost's work
