I am a kind of person who always runs away from “romantic” books, I have never thought such books could be this interesting. Weirdly, when I started reading “You are Forever in my Heart”, my first thought was ok, sure, let’s try this genre. It’s not that I haven’t tried reading this category, it’s just that, besides Love Story by Erich Segal, I never really liked any other. This one I liked.

To start with, I was wasn’t really attracted to the Book cover, but I liked the title. It kinda gave away the entire description of the book in a single line. Another thing which I really appreciated is that the story wasn’t being stretched unnecessarily, it was kept nice, short and crisp as a result I could finish the book very easily. The narrative style was another hit for me, it actually kept me hooked on the story.

As per me, if the writing style is simple and smooth, the book automatically becomes a Bestseller and this is what happened here. There weren’t too much of fancy words used, which is easy for any reader, the language used is very simple and it works through the story very smoothly. I liked the entire storyline and this book, truly speaking, a blend of everything…emotions, drama, affection, rejection, care and true love.

Book Review of 'You are forever in my heart' by 'Sanjeev Ranjan'

"Love can leave a memory no one can steal,
Love can leave a pain no one can heal".

If this wont make you miss that person you love the most in your life, then be sure that you had never loved any person in life yet. This will make you realise how much the girl/boy you love means to you. After reading this novel, i realised that the way Sanjeev and Shuchi fall in love and the way both loved each other is awesome. Anybody in the world once in their life must have expected that they too would experience such beautiful feelings.

The book appeared so real because I strongly believe that since it is a true love story and each and every line Sanjeev had narrated was happened so real, was reflected in the book. The author is just way too good in this book. He knew how to connect to the hearts of his readers, but most importantly, he was very honest with his writing as i felt while reading. His tribute to his love would be remembered by everyone forever now.

There are a few similarities between the things happened to me and which are explained in this book. These things helped me to understand feeling of sanjeev. I felt it so real. I felt it so beautiful.

At each and every portion of this book it was happened to me that I was projected my self in sanjeev place and my lover for Shuchi's place. I dont know knowingly or unknowingly I (wanted to try, trying ) tried loving my lover more than before. I will do it full of my life.

I had tears in my eyes after completing it. The next thing i did was swear to my love that ill be there to protect her at all stages of life. If you would complete this book, then you wont be able to stop yourself from calling up your lover and tell her how much she/he means to you.

If you didn't read this book, then read once. The author portrayed emotions well. Its hard to someone write his pains. Narrative is compelling and heart touching. It's well written with voice of heart, love the story, can make you cry if you are emotional, must read for those who were once in love with not perfect ending. Author's lucid and very simple way of expressing his love of journey keeps you fully engrossed and every moment you feel what next, although ending of story is very painful but best love stories never have perfect ending..they are simply immortal.

Cheers to Sanjeev- Shuchis's love-story, which is immortalised now by this novel.

You are forever in my heart

This is the story of love and friendship. The friendship between Sanjeev and Ruchita and The love - story of Sanjeev and Suchi. This was a very beautiful read and I really enjoyed reading it.

The story starts with the heartbroken Sanjeev whose girlfriend Ashima has broken up with him. He finds solace when he meets the girl name Ruchita and they became best friends. Later Ruchita introduces him to a girl named Shuchi who was a fan of his book and they fell in love with each other. Then the story is a romantic journey of them. Read the book to experience this journey of love, emotions, friendship, betrayal, heartbreak and finding the soulmate.

The language of the book is simple and easy to read. This is a good book for the reader of every age even if you are starting to read or in need of light romance. I really loved the cover of the book. The title is appropriate for the book.

Love can leave a memory no one can steal,

Love can leave a pain no one can steal.

This book has an adequate amount of love and affection. But I think the pain exceeded more than I could handle.

You are forever in my heart is a beautiful novel about love, betrayal and broken hearts. The story is about a boy Sanjeev who falls in love with a girl but then she cheats on him and his world falls apart. He cuts himself from the outside world and soon faces depression.

To come over the pain, he decides to write a book about his life and what happened to him. He thought this would help him get over the girl and it does. At least he learns to live with the pain and doesn't keep himself locked at home.

People across the country love his book and can relate to him. And one day he meets one of his reader fan who is a girl and completely in love with his book. They meet and things turn around for both of them. Secrets from the past haunt them both and that's why they find solace in each other's company.

But life wasn't done with them and decides to turn things a little more.

That's pretty much what the book is about. Now, let's get into the things I liked and disliked in this book

Things I Liked: I don't read love stories because I think Indian authors overdo the plot and the characters for no reason at all. But this one is different. The character were good and not unbearable. Trust me when I say they were nice because I literally try to find reasons to hate love stories. But this one is good. The author did a great job with the plot as well. And it didn't take me long to finish it. So, that's a positive point for me. There is no unwanted showcase of love like there is in many other books. It was given whenever necessary.

Things I couldn't get my head around: Now, I cannot be precise here as I don't want to spoil anyone. But something happens when one of the main character does a very stupid thing and while reading it I was like why do have to complicate things for no reason at all.

You know when people assume things and don't talk to the other person to get a clear picture of what ACTUALLY happened. They simply walk out of there and decide to walk out of that person's life too. That is so stupid and I hate it when that happens. And I think the turn of events was a little extreme for the characters. I was really upset in the end and wished the end was a little different.

Overall this is a beautiful love story and I really liked it. You can chose this if you are in mood for a love story with adequate love and normal characters.

Thanks for reading this review.

Hope you liked it.

I usually don’t pick up love story genre as they don’t impress me much. But I often think of giving them a read so as to feed my mind with these stories too and yes! I don’t want to left behind in exploring this genre.
Moreover, such books also have plenty to offer in elucidation and interpretation of human emotions and feelings.
For all the love story books I have read, their blurb tempted me to read them. I would say, I chose this book too due to its blurb.
So, the story is about Sanjeev who has lost his true love and is all dejected and gloomy. He finds it difficult to move on and memories of Ashima still haunts him. One of his friend guides him to socialise with new people and join some refreshing recreational activities to avert his mind from his past. Following his advice, he joins the photography classes and befriends Ruchita.
He happened to meet Shuchi who was an ardent reader of his novel ‘In course of True Love’. After few meet ups, they fell for each other.
But did their love blossomed? Is what you will find out in the book.

What was Good
 Language is facile and straightforward.
 Narration of feelings and emotions is praiseworthy.
 A slight curiosity in the story keeps the reader hooked.

What wasn’t Good
 In beginning of the book, I felt that the accounting of conversations between Sanjeev and Ruchita were immature or infantile.
 I felt there were certain lines and explanations that could be found in every love story book.

Why to read this book
If you want to read a simple and plain love story, then this book will not disappoint you.
It is an endearing read.
I enjoyed reading this book.

This is the first time I read a novel by Sanjeev Ranjan, and I must say he has magic in his pen. I am impressed by his work you may read many stories about love story by many writers if yes then you should take a look at this beautiful book by Sanjeev.

The cover of the book is damn beautiful yellowish colour makes the cover more attractive, the main story revolves around the main protagonist called Sanjeev who loves a girl called Ashima, they both were in a relationship but Ashima decided to break up with Sanjeev (want to know why? Read the boo) and because of this break up Sanjeev have gone through a depression. And to express his feelings he decided to express his feeling by writing a novel which became a bestselling novel. And on the other side, one of his friends suggested joining a photography class to chill and live his life in his way. But destiny decided to bring another girl into Sanjeev’s life and during Photography classes he met Ruchita, and both were enjoyed there company they hang out together, they chill together. On someday, Ruchita Introduces his fan Shuchi who is also struggling with a breakup. Sanjeev and Shuchi narrate their story together. Buth the question is will Sanjeev able to find his true love?

at last, I must say the author did a really great job by penning down this novel, every reader should love this especially those who are suffering from breakups.

” There is no end to grief, there is no end to love.”

This book is a sequel to ” In Course Of True Love”. The story begins with Sanjeev being addressing his readers at his book launch. Then he remembers his story – After being cheated by his love, Sanjeev is heartbroken and lonely. In order to realize his emotions, he writes a novel which turns out to be a bestseller. He being shy and introvert never interacts with his readers. By taking the advise of his friend Gaurav, he starts attending photography classes, where he meets Ruchita. He loves to hang out with her and starts enjoying his life. He is soon introduced to a reader, who is a die hard fan of his novel. The story further narrates their journey together. Will Sanjeev be able to find his true love?

“We collect our experiences and put together our circumstances into stories…..stories we pick up along the way and carry with us.”

This story is so heart touching. I loved how the author was able to describe each and every emotion. The book is beautifully written and has a tinge of suspense too. The language is easy and understandable. This Story is inspired by true events and is based on the love story of the author himself. After reading this book you’ll definitely start loving the couple’s cuteness and romance.

It is a quick and light read. If you love reading Romance Genre then you must read this one.

Sanjeev is heart broken and unable to cope with his break up. He is slowly drowning in an abyss of memories. His life is distraught and full of despair.

His black days go on and on, till one day he meets Guarav who advises him to get a grip and learn a new passion. This idea fills him with a sense of purpose and he decides to join a photography class.

There he meets Ruchita, a happy-go-lucky girl who loves life and  they become friends. Through Ruchita he meets Shuchi, who is a fan of his work and is undergoing the same trauma as him.

Things become better for both of them as both souls find recluse in each other. Love creeps up their hearts and fills it completely.

Everything is beautiful and fairytale like but then a bundle of letters arrive at his doorstep.
Will Sanjeev finally find love or does destiny have other plans for him?

A semi- autobiographical novel, Ranjan has explored love and its various forms. Though it is inspired by real life events, it comes across as a typical Bollywood movie. There are certain events and lines which tend to be repetitive. You are Forever in My Heart is a sweet love story about a person's need to love and how love can stitch you up and tear you apart.

True love survives in every heart.

This story redefined the meaning of friendship, love, rejection, loss, pain and death.Based on real life incidents one can easily relate to all the characters. Sanjeev loved Ashima with his heart but she ditched him for someone else. This incident left him bereft of any will to live his life.He was drowned in sea of despair and pain. Gaurav egged him to come out of his shell and do something he loves. In the photography class he meet the bubbly Ruchita who infused his life with new joy. Life gives him another chance he falls in love with Shuchi. They complete each other like pieces of jigsaw. They embark on a beautiful journey together.

Blurb of the book and the title are interesting but gives out most of the story. The narration is quite engaging and the language used is simple ,easy to understand. While reading the book I got completely absorbed in the story visualizing every events of Sanjeev's life unfolding in front of my eyes. The plot is good and the story is kept short and crisp. The ending is quite unexpected and leaves you in deep thought.

I would recommend it to anyone who love short emotional love story. I want to thank the publisher for the review copy and the author for writing such a lovely story.

I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. The story revolves around Protagonist Sanjeev who after his break up with Ashima, becomes stressed to that extent that he forgets to live his life. His friend also advice him to to write his feelings and learn to love again. Sanjeev tries his best to come out from this painful situation. Then he meets his ardent fan Shuchi who admires his writing a lot. To know what happens next you will have to grab this book. I really loved the cute love story of Shuchi and Sanjeev. The novel is quite lucid and one can zap through the novel in an hour or two. I would recommend that one read this book in a single sitting.

What initially seemed like a light read to me caught up pace quicker than I could imagine. Few pages down and I was hooked to the story. I could relate to the feelings of the author. Being an author of a moderately successful book, I could understand the initial shyness of a newbie author. That's what got me going.

The fact that author didn't use a pseudo name to portray his story made it all the more appealing to me.

Sanjeev a normal being gets to meet up fate's fate.
It is a demure girl who wants to live with him forever but instead ends up with a tragedic ending
Sanjeev has a callous time choosing his past and the future. It is up to him to be with the same old dominating worthless woman who ruined his life by giving him terrible and unforgettable trauma or with the woman who changed his lame life into colorful life.

Alos I finished this book at two sittings!!

You Are Forever In My Heart is the story of Sanjeev, how he loses his love, and his entire process of getting a new way of life.

Title - You Are Forever In My Heart is the best suited title for the book. Sanjeev's story has been told in the book.

Cover - The beautiful yellow cover with a couple's picture and the name of the novel has been designed brilliantly.

Storyline - Sanjeev was in love with Ashima, who left her alone in course of life. He is in depression and unable to overcome it. He finds some good friends and tries to smile again. He falls for a girl, and what happens later is something worth reading.

Language and writing skills - The author's knowledge of English and his writing skills are appreciable. He has done the work beautifully.

I did not find any negative points about it.

Best lines -

Love had come into my life after much waiting. The way they showed in the movie, love seemed like a beautiful thing, an adorable feeling. It makes your life complete; accept your life and gives you inspiration to live. The feeling which can't be measured, but can only be felt.

Love is the best thing, yes, but until things go wrong. Once things go off track, love hurts, tortures and makes you cry. Just like love is the best feeling, the pain that comes with it is the worst. It's as if the world around starts falling up on you. So much that your dreams, emotions, feelings, everything shutters irreparably.

Books became my companions in those days. I realised that the world of books could open the door for me through which I could not only recreate and imagine comma but also explore the world created by others.

Dreams come to your mind because memories occupy your subconscious mind. You really need to change the thoughts in your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is everything. It records everything - the way you think, behave and do your activities. So until you change the way you think, your thoughts won't change and it would keep coming to you in the form of dreams. It's your life and you are the true master of your happiness.

Life is too short to feel sorry for yourself.

Sometimes what we make for ourselves in years shatters in seconds; what we are left with is a debris of memories, dreams and emotions. It's quite tough to forget it. These things received slowly and that too when you keep yourself busy. Memories work this way only.

It's said that when the to Soulmates find each other, there is an unspoken understanding, they feel unified and would lie with each other in unity and would know no greater joy than that.

The the greatest tragedy in human life is when your heart longs for love and there is no one around to love you.

Love love happens when you both don't need to compromise for each other and feel comfortable in front of each other in any situation. You don't need to demand anything; if the other is not giving it freely, it's not worth it.

True love true love is when you feel the other's pain as your own and fill their broken heart with your love, but a true relationship is when the other person also feels the same for you and fills up your broken heart with love. Something that you have logged for so many years.

One incident can change everything. Especially if it's about the past. It takes months and months, sometimes more than a year to move on, but one silly incident that can take you back to the past and will remind you of everything again.

If if a guy holds your hand and your heart beats faster, and there are butterflies in your stomach, run away from him. He won't be the best partner for you. But if a guy holds your hand and you feel warm, secure and strong, he is the right person for you.

I realized a few good things because of this episode - life always goes on and no one cares about you anymore, except those few people who have always loved you. And that there will be always some people who will love you. I realized that infatuation is a powerful feeling that can make the wisest of people go blind to other aspects of life.
