This is my first time reading a Jessica Coulter Smith aka Harley Wylde's book ... I really enjoyed her writing style as well as the characters she created in "Torch."
Hero, Torch was the President of Dixie Reaper MC and he was 'given' heroine, Isabella to be his ol' lady. Because she was only 17 years old at the time her father, Casper 'gave' her to him, he stamp her, kiss her ever so sweetly and waited for her to finish out her senior year & to also spend time with relatives. Isabella decides to run not even knowing that Torch had someone watching her all along! Three years later and almost 21 years old, she come home and Torch accepts her regardless of her delay and claims her as his own.
I know, I know, I should have read "Venom" the first book of the Dixie Reapers MC but for some strange reason, I have always preferred reading the the true leader/president's story of these MC books- weird I know but also since Torch and Isabella's story had that Mafia/cartel backstory going on, I just couldn't put it down!

All Grown Up
Torch and Isabella have decades separating their age. I appreciate that when she was underaged and being inked as his that he was repulsed by his reaction to her and did nothing more than kiss her to seal the deal. When she returns to him legally an adult? Oh, honey, all bets are off!
I love the sizzle and sparks and I love how possessive he is. I also enjoyed the entanglement her father finds himself in, when he's not being shot at. 😂🎉
I enjoyed the narrator, Ada Sinclair. She does a good job with the various characters. Even though she's solo, I didn't mind it like I normally might.

He jerked me off the stool and backhanded me across the face. My knees nearly gave out, but he still gripped my arm tight. I could feel him bruising my skin even as pain radiated across my cheek.
“Yeah, Tank. Why don’t you show him what happens when you lay your hands on a woman. Especially my fucking woman.”
The room grew so damn quiet I could have heard a pin drop
“Sit on the edge of the bed and lie back,” he said.
I nodded and moved over to the big bed. I sat on the edge, then lay back against the cool bedding.
Torch moved closer, his gaze caressing me from head to toe.
“Spread your legs,” he demanded. “I want to see what’s mine.”
I was so excited to see that Venom and Ridley made an appearance in this book!
Ridley was trying not to laugh. “You haven’t figured it out yet, have you?”
Isabella shook her head.
“You’re getting married!” Ridley squealed and bounced on her toes.
“Woman, stop bouncing before you knock my kid out there,” Venom said.

Great addition to the series. I loved it. I love that he was faithful even with her gone for 3 years. She does catch him with a naked woman sitting on his lap when she returns, but it says he was faithful and never did anything with a woman since kissing her. Great read. Safety: there was a sentence or 2 about the h being attacked before the H, but wasn't descriptive and wasn't raped. Just like to mention it if it's there.

Damn, this was so freaking good! Maybe even better than book 1. I'm not sure, I can't choose, really. But I loved this. Isabella was awesome. Really sweet. And Torch so damn sexy! And he was so sweet with Isabella.
This book was insanely hot and weirdly sweet. And thankfully drama free. There was some potential drama/danger but got solved pretty soon.
And now I'm so freaking curious to read Casper's story. Seriously, tell me there's a short novella of how he got married and of his honeymoon.

A good, quick and hot read!

it's a ⏭ fast-paced romance💃with 💕instalove/lust💞 but it stays reasonable and enjoyable. ✌There wasn't much drama or angst. 🔥the sex was hot, but not as dirty and scorching as it was in book one.
🙈There is a big age gap between Isabella (20) and Torch (50 something) but somehow it didn't shock me all that much because they kind of knew each other already, had a connection and in the biker world I doubt something like an age gap between partners is much of a taboo.🙊
🔫🚬🍺Torch was a great character. He accepted Isabella's need to run away for a bit and secretly kept an eye on her for three years knowing she needed time and would eventually come back. When she finally came back he welcomed her back openly and with understanding. He didn't try to "cage" her like her father had, and he wasn't overly protective lime Venom was, he allowed her more freedom and I appreciate that.
🕊👢💍Isabella was a good character, nothing much stood out about her but she was a likable character.
Contrary to the previous book, here they talk a bit about having kids and about contraception (even if they already had unprotected sex by then). Just like all the heroines in this series, Isabella was a virgin and with no surprise she ended up pregnant like all the other heroines. Since they already agreed on letting nature takes its course regarding kids, I wasn't as much put out when she ended up pregnant (unlike Ridley in the first book).
however I'll be taking a break from this series. Most of the sex scenes in the other biker books I've read contained safe sex with contraception but in this series I learned that every heroine is going to be a young virgin that'll end up pregnant before the end of their book. Everytime! So yeah, this series kind of lost a bit of my interest now that I know there isn't much originality when it comes the heroines and the fact that the men went to get their women pregnant basically right away wether they've talked about or not. And pregnancies are just not my thing honestly... especially when the couple have barely been together for a few weeks or months and the heroines are so young.

Hard on the outside, soft on the inside

THIS TORCH IS LIT!
This is Torch and Isabella's story. Torch is the President of the Dixie Reaper's MC and even though he's a big mean bad@ss biker who would kill to protect his family but when it comes to Isabella she brings him to his knees, you see a big bad@ss biker with a heart of gold filled with love and WOW! does he rock her world. These two are so hot together I think my kindle started to get warm. Lol. Isabella may be young enough to be Torch's daughter they're perfect for each other. When Isabella's father shows up wouldn't you know it, so does trouble. This book is full of suspense, excitement, lots of smokin hot sex and a few laughs along the way. If all the men of the Dixie Reaper's MC are alike then prepare for you panties to catch on fire. I love that Isabella and Ridley have become friends. Being around all that testosterone they need each other. As hard-core as Venom is I thought it was funny that he and Ridley had a little girl and another one on the way. I could just picture this big bad@ss alpha biker holding a little girl. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

If you read the first book in the series, “Venom” then you are aware of Isabella and Torch. Isabella’s daddy, Casper, is one man you don’t want to mess with. He wants Torch to protect his daughter and bring her into the folds of Dixie Reapers. Torch agrees. When he first met Isabella, she was 17 going on 18. She was so young and innocent. He didn’t think he would come to care greatly for her, but it hits him like a sledge hammer. After she was marked as Torches old lady, she went back to school to finish up. But returned 3 yrs later. Now she is ready to take on a man like Torch.
Torch aka Connor was one hottie. The way he took Bella, WOW. But then her father had to come a screw it up. It wasn’t really his fault. He had bad blood with the Cartel and they wanted his. But thank goodness he fixed, we hope. Bella was so happy to see Ridley and her daughter Farrah. This series is hot and cute. I love that regardless of the age, love always stands. And it is true. They may be May-December but it still is hot.

Book 2 in Wylde's Dixie Reapers MC. An age-gap, MC romance read / listen.
This is Torch and Isabella's story. Torch is the prez of this MC and was committed to Isabella before she was even of legal age...three years later was she worth the wait?!? A quick, fast paced romance. Well written, and narrated. I liked the balance of steam along with storyline. I also love a bad boy who has a softness for women - especially a particular woman who's capture their heart...
Looking forward to more steamy, sweet and rough MC romances in this series!

Bought on Kindle and Audible. Short read only 3-4 hours on Audible. Not dual narration which would make it better, but each read their own chapters.
AGE GAP, dominant vs virgin trope. Done well thoguh. Both characters are well developed throughout and likeable, Isabella has spent a few years away before coming home - or well, back to Torch - and she has much more maturity about her, although still very niave compared to him.
Just like Venom, there is a swift sexual relationship, and it is undoubtably hot... before a baby, cute family moment etc, and in this one even a wedding!

Torch and Isabella were forced together in a deal ad to top it all off she was underage at the time. She was given time to finish school, but she took three years to get it together. Torch made a promise that he kept. Now she is with him in all ways, but her father has come visiting and with him came trouble by way of the cartel. Will Torch be able to keep her safe so that her father can take care of his problems, so they don't lead to Isabella? This story will draw you in and have you all caught up in Torch's and Isabella's drama?

Isabella is now 20 and is finally coming to Torch to be claimed. This story is short sexy dirty story with some humor. Overall I enjoyed it, it had alittle more depth than Venom and I liked Wylde included the characters from book one(Venom) in this story. Happy Reading!!!

Don't let the silver hair fool you or Torch's age. He is one bad ass dude and is ruthless and lethal when he needs to be. He'll protect his club any way he can even if it is an arranged marriage to an assassin. Torch and Isabella's story may start out as a marriage of convience but it grows into something neither of them expected. When Isabella is a target, Torch will stop at nothing to make her safe even if it means blood on his hands. Torch is a great read.

When she comes back, she knows what she is in for and reminds her that once it's done...she is his and only his. And...nothing will come between them. She is down...he is 51 and she is almost 21...so huge age gap peeps. He has the body of 20yr old tho...even better than the party boys in Europe! LOL

This book is just about the same as the last book, meet the girl young wait until she is 18 & up to put his ink on her. Story line is pretty much the same with a different twist to it, even read some sentence's that were the same from book 1, and then once again at the end the girl ends up pg. So not worth what I spend on the second book, wont be reading the rest unless I can get them free or on unlimited kindle.

I listened to this on audiobook. It’s only a couple of hours long and it’s narrated by Ava Sinclair, who is good, but she’s no Umi Markkanen. The premise of this book is that Casper VanHorne trades his daughter to Torch, president of the Dixie Reapers, in order to ensure her safety. I enjoyed the story.

Loved it, I was expecting a harsh commanding H, and a submissive h, but while Torch is a hard badass, he’s so unbelievably sweet to Isabelle, tender, loving and devoted. And while she’s an innocent and letting him lead the way in the bedroom, she’s very much her own woman. These two are perfect together.
