“The Stable uncovers a dramatic story of eleven extraordinary events that surrounded the arrival of God’s Messiah. If you thought you knew the story by heart you will be pleasantly surprised at all you had missed. The novel is historically accurate, emotionally stirring, faith inspiring and hard to put down.”
This book, even though amateurish, ended up being enjoyable. Parts were cheesy, but in the end, I can’t help but love the birth of Jesus story. This was an imaginative historical fiction of how the early marriage of Mary and Joseph could have looked. The dialogue in particular can be tiresome and juvenile, but the overall story was good. A particularly well written part is near the end when Mary realizes what Jesus’ fate will probably be according to scripture. Emotional!
