"An and , scorching hot suspenseful BDSM Romance!"
the storyline is so scorching hot and suspenseful. That it will keep you glued to it's pages! You will love and hate Valentine.
For years Grace thought herself asexual. This was until she meets the sexy Dom Valentine. Her best friend Lina took Grace to the BDSM club she played at. There she met Valentine he was the first man or even a woman. Grace had ever been attracted to. This is why Grace was still a virgin at the age of twenty-two. OMG what can I say about this book. It was exciting frustrating sexy hot temptation action emotional and so much more. Grace and Valentine were so hot together. I really hope that we get to read more of these characters maybe make this into a duology because I want to see where it goes. That ending had me stunned I didn't expect that at all. It was so shocking that I was crying a little.

Way to go Michelle! This is a 👍 bdsm book. The interaction between the two is fantastic. I have read everyone of her books and this is my favorite. I loved the ending too. I volunteered read this for a honest review

Valentine is my first read by Michelle Hughes and damn is it hot! Valentine is soooo much more than the BDSM read I was expecting, it was dark, hot, and full of suspense!
The attraction between Grace and Dimitri was so hot and so damn intense!
Loved how this story was more than your regular BDSM book and not just about sex. The twists and turns in this story will definitely keep you glued to the pages.
This may have been my first read from this author, but it will not be my last.

My second Michelle Hughes book, and this was nothing like the first! Valentine is a billionaire sadist. Grace is young, fresh out of college and his new employee. There is a spark of recognition between them after first seeing each other before, but is it enough to ignite? I was expecting a regular contemporary romance, but this took me completely by surprise. It's very well written, a plot that is full of steam, passion and suspense. The characters are smart and the plot takes a turn I didn't see coming. Some BDSM, a terrorist attack and a love that borders on real, we get to take this journey and see if the rich, dangerous man can get the stubborn, beautiful girl to submit. Hughes has a winner with this book.
Melissa Stiletto gives another great performance. She has good, concise voicing for her characters and she is able to emote every feeling precisely. I love her narration and it kept me hanging til the very end.

Valentine wasn’t what I expected, Michelle’s Hughes blew any assumptions I had prior to reading and blew them all out the water...
A highly addictive read, it has everything you would expect and more in a billionaire romance and that’s what sets it apart from other books of the similar genre.
The intense attraction between both main characters (Valentine & Grace) was evident from the moment they set eyes on one another, and Valentine sure does get under Grace’s skin...even if she does try to reject his advances at the start.
Hughes manages to take you on a journey of romance, suspense, erotic moments and plot twists that will leave you shocked!!
I was not expecting where this story ended...but I loved it!!!
I will definitely be reading and following Michelle Hughes’s work from this moment on.

Well, I was really loving this until the last 30-45 minutes... I HATED the twist, it ruined so much of it for me and it makes me so, so sad. I don’t love the confusion that I was left with at the end. What was real, what wasn’t. Did she actually go to the club and see Valentine there? I am guessing she did because they said everything happened after her interview. But now I am just questioning everything. I don’t think the twist was necessary. AND if you are going to do that to us, why end it so abruptly. There was no epilogue or anything and now I don’t what happened, if they were able to make things work or not. 😭

Absolutely LOVED this book. I cant even begin to say all the things I love about it, there are so many things!!! Michelle has the ability to build up a detailed and believable world and then shatter it completely and I love her writing creativity. If you are looking for a book that will stay with DAYS & DAYS after you finish it, you need to pick this up right now. I couldn't sleep through the night after finishing up this book but the books that get your blood pumping and make you think of everything you thought you knew are the best types. This book is completely on par with everything you think you know you want in a romance novel but at the end, you will think again.

I liked the book (the bdsm and kink was well done) but I did not like the ending. I am all about the fairy tale so this was a little dark for my taste. I believe there is a audience for every book and my rating is mine alone and readers that are looking for suspense and a added dark twist will probably love this book and give it a higher rating. Michelle Hughes has written several books that are on my favorites list like "1/2 Cocked & Church".

When I first started listening to this audible book, I thought ok its your typical Alpha Dom, see’s an unexpected innocent and teaches her his ways and it started playing out that way, with some suspense and intrigue thrown in. Then pow we reach a twist that throws you off guard and it’s like wow wasn’t expecting that one. All in all I have to say this is a different story from your typical BDSM read.
The narrator did a nice job, but my thought was a younger voice would have been better.

I absolutely refuse to accept this as the end to their story. I don’t want to give anything away but just when I thought I was comfortable in the story things got flipped on the head. I’ve refreshed my goodreads page a dozen times hoping it will magically change and this will become a series. Michelle if you read this please take pity on me and give me more!
I would recommend this to people who like bdsm/ steamy romance but feel like you’ve read it all. This was a fresh twist and I am so here for it!

"Intense and Suspenseful"
Michelle Hughes did an excellent job in writing "Valentine." It was suspenseful, intriguing with mystery and you would have never guessed what had happened at the end. I would love to listen to other books of hers because I'm riding on a high from this one.
Melissa Stiletto did an AMAZING job with the characters. She captured each one individually and made them their own person and I just loved it. I definitely recommend this book and I give it 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 gladly.

This story was okay for me. However at 75% through the story I still didn’t feel a connection between the main characters. It felt like there was hardly any dialogue between them. Truly I felt like they knew nothing about each other. The twist I did not see coming. The ending was ehh for me. Some sort of epilogue for futuretake probably would have helped. I listened to this via audible and can say the narrator did a great job. I received this for free for my honest review from audiounleashed.

This book was a lot more than another rip-off of Fifty Shades. I went in thinking, here we go again, but my mind was quickly changed. Okay maybe not quickly, because it starts like your average billionaire (is there an average billionaire?) and virgin romance, but when the plot takes a twist it was the biggest surprise I've ever had in a novel before. In the end I loved it, but my mind was seriously taken on a trip. Literary genius, because I wasn't expecting what happened and I had to stop for a minute and let it sink in. When a book throws me for a loop and I still love it, that's a win.

An intensely wicked and arousing bdsm read. I thought the characters were well written and believable. I was surprised with how the novel ends and as for myself, I didn't really like it. But, that is only my opinion and I'm sure that other readers will be fine with it. It doesn't take away from Ms. Hughes' exceptional words and I will be reading more of her books in the future.

I love your other books
I love HEA as anyone else does, but I was disappointed with this one. They went through so much suffering, loss and heartache for… There’s no conclusion, no resolution. It’s a anticlimactic. I was curious. I’m sorry but this is it for me.

What a twist! I thought this book was great but the twist at the end makes it amazing! Wow. Writing is done beautifully and the narration just as good. I need more!
