This Love Inspired story had depth and some difficult issues to overcome for individuals and veterans. Kayla was escaping from domestic violence by her ex, her precious child was scared of others and veterans were adjusting to returning home. Redemption Ranch provided services for veterans with dogs and the small town individuals accepting all into their services and events. The story will tug at your heart as the hero, heroine and others heal from their past but are present to assist others no matter the cost.

This was a used book purchased at our library sale, thus a review was not required. I have expressed my own opinion.

Kayla and Leo are trying to find a safe place to live. When Kayla showed up at the ranch about the job Finn isn’t sure about hiring her. Finn is struggling with his past life and fighting his feelings for Kayla and Leo. The veterans at the ranch love having Kayla and Leo around. The characters in this book are all very special people. You will feel God working throughout this whole book. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could. You won’t be able to stop reading this book.

This was the cutest 70 cent book from Mckays a gal could have bought. It melded all of the Nicholas Sparks books into one. Yes, you knew what was going to happen, but it still was a good read. Kayla and her son show up at a dog kennel that is looking for a job. Finn is hesitant to hire this unknown woman, especially bc he is still grieving a loss and she reminds him of it. What will happen when they start spending time together? What will happen when What Kayla is running from finds her in the small town?

Finn is looking for help as a rescue-dog caretaker and Kayla is there for the job. He doesn't want her there for long he got his demons to deal with and Kayla and her son are bringing up some awful memories. Its clear that Kayla is running from something but what could that be? The longer she sticks around the harder it becomes to stay away.

If you are looking for a romance book that clean and heart warming this maybe the book for you. It was tough getting to know both of their backstories and why they made certain choices but after getting to know them it was understandable why they did certain things. I loved seeing Kayla open up to those around her and seeing the two being welcoming towards her and her son. I loved how supportive people around her as well. This is a clean christian contemporary romance and if your into that sorta thing then you might want to get your hands on this book. I know that I really enjoyed this book and recommend you lovely readers to check it out.

The Soldier's Redemption is a book that truly highlights the fact that regardless of what has happened in your life, there is always a chance for hope and redemption.

Redemption Ranch is a place where veterans can come and seek help and peace. The ranch rescues animals and the vets get to work with the animals while they are there. It is a place of refuge. Finn Gallagher is a veteran that has been working at the ranch. When he advertised for help he never expected Kayla White to come in. He also never expected her to have a young son with her.

Kayla and Finn begin working at the ranch. Both Kayla and Finn have a painful past. Kayla is still running from her abusive ex husband. She thinks she is far enough from him that their son can finally come out of his shell. At the ranch, both Kayla and her son finally experience peace and they get to adopt Shoney, a dog that needs them as much as they need her. As Kayla and Finn work together, they begin to develop feelings for one another. Kayla and her son begin to open Finn's heart again. Kayla also begins to trust men again because of Finn's consistent gentleness. But danger lurks for Kayla. When her past catches up to her, will Finn be able to protect the woman and child he loves?

I was completely taken with the characters in the book and I enjoyed the plot. Of course a child and a dog combine to make the book even more appealing.

Kayla and her son Leo have been trying to find a safe place where here abusive ex-husband won't find them when Kayla happens to see a job posting for a job at Redemption Ranch and goes to apply. Finn, the head of the ranch tries everything to get Kayla to turn down the job to no avail, so he hires her on a trial basis. Finn is dealing with past issues as well as everyone at the ranch and tries to fight his feelings for Kayla and Leo will another tragedy almost happens. Will Finn overcome this almost tragedy that brings back memories, will he push Kayla and Leo to the edge to leave, many obstacles need to be overcome. This is a book that you can see God working in many different ways and a book that will be hard to put down until finished. Truly an amazing book.

The Soldier's Redemption is a story of just that - a soldier's redemption. A place where soldiers could go for peace - where animals go to the ranch for healing by vets - it is a place of refuge. This is Blessed by GOD - shouldn't it be? They are doing GOD's work. Kayla has gone through some horrific things and has gone to Finn's ranch for a job - Finn is surprised - will he give her a job? Even after their past? Will Kayla be safe? Will Kayla find the Peace that the ranch has to offer? I really enjoyed reading this book. Its a book about second chances and letting go. In this story I got to meet Finn Gallagher and Kayla White with her son Leo. Its a story about forgiving yourself for mistakes made and accepting of self. Its an interesting story that will have you turning the pages to see what is happening next. It also deals with a issue that can be difficult in away that is well done for its a complicated issue. To find out what this issue is you will have to read the book. Lee covers issues dealing with veterans well and what Kayla is dealing with also very well. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to someone.

Kayla and Leo's story kept me up late reading. It was so much more than a love story. This story had loads of heart and substance. We saw not only their story, but that of her little boy, and several veterans who play a role in it. And dogs. We can't forget the dogs. Being a fan of dog rescues, I loved that part. Redemption does indeed play a big part in the lives of these people, as do hope and new beginnings. A feel-good read that'll leave you wanting more.

This book really held my interest from the first page to the last. Both Finn and Kayla were “broken” and in need of healing. I liked how they were each able to eventually work through their past and start the healing process. I also liked the concept of a ranch where veterans and senior dogs could get together and help each other. This was a great book and I would recommend it.
