Margaret, a former IT Consultant, loves living in Bath UK, playing with her grandsons, researching family history and writing.
She derives her joie de vivre playing with her grandchildren, researching family history, writing and traveling.
Traveling gives her great inspiration to write. The stimulus of the new helps her creativity.
But, while doing research, she finds being at home, is best.
Her inspiration to write came after her mother died, in 2008. This created a desire to find out more, about her German émigré family.
She discovered her family came to London circa 1860. The archive records revealed an unusual family history that has inspired her books.
Her style of writing mashes the genre; a mixture of memoir, historical novel and family saga.

Currently, Margaret is working on her third book, Stealing the Rainbow. This is a moving and brave story, chronicling everyday life during World War Two.
