Solid series! It was steady, interesting and memorable. I enjoyed all 3 books and the characters. I would love to check out more work by this author.

This does, your heart pounds, as you turn the pages. It is written by chapters of Casey and Dylan. About a fourth way in, I finally got the rhythm of the story. Of the lives of Brent and Casey as friends.
Then another plot was brought in, toward the last part of book.With a missing girl and Casey wants to find her. E en if she is captured, she wants to find, for her new friends. It was the right thing to do, to end their sorrow.
IF I'M FOUND by Terri Blackstock.Another thriller that catches you from first page. Casey on the run, needs to ditch car, needs sleep. A hotel that's probably not even a one star, dark lot in back for car. Dylan hired to find her, but believes she innocent, lets her slip. Police within 5 states on look out for her. Email lets her know he believes she is innocent, she didn't commit murder. Can she disguise herself enough, while collecting solid evidence, against the murderers. She stumbles upon an abused child, will this destroy her chances of freeing herself. Evil surrounds her, she doesn't know who to trust. Will she even get out alive. A delightful thriller.

She’s been living like a frighten criminal, it will have been worth it, if justice would be served, she feels. Too many deaths, her father’s and Brent; turning over evidence, only to find they were part of the corruption. Evil and hate were their main goals. A powerful story, as you wonder, how Casey, and hopefully with Dylan come out. This has been on going for three books. The tension seems even higher, many surprises. Casey is stronger now, she wasn’t defeated.

I am so glad I bought these books together as a collection so that I could read them consecutively. Wow, this masterfully written series is thrilling. It has been along time since I have read a tale so gripping from beginning to end that every chapter left me feeling addicted for more. I will come back to these books again and again.

If you’ve kept up with our blog this summer, you probably have seen Terri Blackstock’s name come up at least once or twice. After a lull of not finding anything I wanted to read, Meredith encouraged me to try one of Blackstock’s series: If I Run. So I did, and I finished the trilogy in less than three days. I can see why she wanted me to read it!
If I Run (and sequels If I’m Found and If I Live) follows the story of Casey Cox, a young woman accused of brutally murdering a close friend of hers. In an act of desperation – not to mention some sheer panic – Casey flees the murder scene, consequently turning herself into a fugitive from the law. Introduce to the stage Dylan Roberts, a recently discharged army vet who is hired by the victim’s parents to track the alleged murderess down.
While on the run, as she changes identities and hops from location to location, Casey encounters unique individuals and builds extremely impacting relationships. And, while Dylan seeks to get into Casey’s head in order to predict her next moves, he starts to recognize that maybe not everything is as it seems, both with Casey and also with the police involved in her case.
Blackstock weaves together an intriguing, fast-paced thriller trilogy. The action is constant but not overwhelming. The characters are likeable and intelligent but still flawed and realistic. Throughout the three books, we really get to dive into who Casey and Dylan are and how they made it to this point. I really loved how accurate and detail-oriented Blackstock was, especially in Casey’s running from the law (things like changing her identity, exchanging license plates with other cars, not using personal devices, and so on. Things I’d never think of myself for sure!). It’s evident Blackstock put a lot of thought and effort into making Casey’s evasion realistic and not just based on luck.
If I Run deals with some difficult topics – murder, for one. But we also see PTSD, suicide, drugs, sexual abuse, kidnapping, extortion, blackmail, affairs, and more. Blackstock handles each of these things with extreme care and good taste. She is detailed but not graphic. I always appreciate authors who actually deal with the hard topics without using a bunch of cliches, bad language, or offensive terms.
I would love to say more about these books, but I definitely don’t want to spoil the plot for you. So, I’ll just leave it with these concluding thoughts: The If I Run trilogy is not only easy to read but is also a quick read at about 250-300 pages per book. The writing is excellent, the plot is airtight, and the action is always moving forward. It’s a tale of seeking justice, determining right and wrong, pursuing redemption and faith, and finding love and freedom. Definitely check this series out when you have a weekend to devote to reading! You won’t want to put it down.

Christian suspense fiction at its best (5 stars)
This series by Terri Blackstock consists of three suspense thrillers (If I Run, If I’m Found, If I Live) that make up a trilogy. They are high quality page turners and rank among her best.
The three books follow a single main thread that revolves around Casey Cox, who is framed for the murder of her friend Brent, and is forced to flee. She’s pursued and later assisted by Dylan Roberts, a military veteran and former investigator, and they face increasing danger as they uncover layers of corruption.
Even though the main storyline is left unresolved until the end of the third book, each book also has a sub-plot which typically gets resolved to bring some sense of closure, so you can enjoy the trilogy in installments. But the three books don’t stand on their own and do need to be read together; at times it felt like the trilogy was stretched a little to make this work.
Not everything is perfect. At times Casey throws herself too easily in harm’s way. The expected ending to the romance and religion sub-plots is somewhat predictable. But on the whole these books are not overly preachy, and while having religious content that Christians will appreciate, the religious and romantic aspects aren’t the major elements of the storyline, and the plot stands up well on its own. Be aware going in that there are some adult themes (e.g. the sexual abuse of a 7 year old girl) that make this suited to mature readers.
Overall it’s a superb example of quality suspense fiction, and can be highly recommended for Christian adults who enjoy thriller novels.

Preachy. Stupid basic premise. Unbelievably dumb decisions by protagonist.
I absolutely cannot believe all the high star ratings for this attempt to push religious belief off as a murder mystery. The initial premise that she will be suspected of murder because she has so much blood on her after she performs CPR on her best friend that she has no reason to want to murder is totally ludicrous. In her escape she is sidetracked into trying to help find a missing girl, whom she heard calling for help from a basement. She then tells the most incompetent police force in the country where the girl is located and they can't find her because she's in a hidden extra room in a basement behind a "brick wall" that is actually bricks painted on a wooden wall. And not one cop has the intelligence to think there might be a hidden wall here and maybe, just maybe, we should just try knocking on the walls and see if they solid and not brick. And why could the "heroine" hear the girl's baby crying and the police searching could not. There are so many ridiculous situations and decisions in this story that they are too numerous to detail. Don't waste your time and money!

Oh Terri Blackstock, I have MISSED you!!! It has been too long since I read one of her books, and it will NOT be this long again!!!
We are in the process of a little restart with our Book Club, and we wanted to get back to the heart of what we were about. I decided to pick a Terri Blackstock murder mystery, since it had been so long since we read any of hers and I'm so glad I did! The thrill, the nonstop action, the forgiveness, repentence, love, restoration and justice.
Sadly, although we were only supposed to read book 1 in this series, Terri is known for leaving you hanging in all the books until the end. So if you so pick up a book of hers, make sure you wait until the entire series is done or you will go bonkers. Luckily I had purchased the set on my Kindle so I could just trudge on through. Needless to say, I highly recommend this!!

Oh so good
For evil people to succeed, good people just need to do nothing. The question becomes whether to fight the evil even though it may cost your life or freedom. Casey must go on the run to protect herself and her family. While she is hunted she must gather enough evidence to put a stop to crime wave within the police department that is after her. This series is so enthralling that I could hardly put it down.

This is the 1st book by this author that I have read but after finishing I am left wanting. Here was a great story characters that she made seem real and the situations that could really happen in todays world, but then didn't write and ending that leaves you hanging as to what happens next and how the story ends. There is aa book #3 that I will attempt to get but it just doesn't seem like leaving the story as this did is unfair to us readers.

I loved this series. Terri Blackstock is a great author. Her stories are unique, very interesting, and have great characters. It was hard to put these books down, and when I was done with one, I immediately started the next in the series. Blackstock's books that I have read are always clean, Christian novels. I highly recommend this series.

This is a well-written series by an author who never disappoints. It moves along at a rapid pace with good character development, and realistic outcomes. I wonder how Ms. BLACKSTOCK knows so much about police protocol! It was hard to put down. But I had to sleep!

Awesome series
Very well written
Great characters, good and bad are well developed. Casey is in a desperate situation but through it all she learns to trust God and has her happily ever after.

This book catches the readers attention right away. As I read, I tried to discern the outcome, but not with this author! No foreshadowing, lots of twists and turns. Keeping it clean for teenagers. There is a little language and violence, well... I don't want to spoil anything.

I enjoyed this series. I’m glad I stumbled upon Terri Blackstock’s books. I’ve been trying to find an author that doesn’t use gratuitous vulgar language or sex in their stories and she doesn’t disappoint.

I loved this faith based series. The action is on going through all three books.
The character reminds me of the fugitive in the television series, except it is an innocent female running from the police.

I took a chance and read something different than me usual reading. I am so glad I did. This series was exciting, interesting and kept my interest the whole time.
