My c0ck a doodle doo is on strike.

Yeah I know, I can’t believe it either. Years of perfect performance and now this traitor decides to get picky. And the only woman who gets him going is my co-worker. Rival, she-devil and my competition for the biggest ad account this side of the Atlantic.

If we want to win over the hottest wedding designer in the world, we have to prove we understand his business. Love. Passion. Marriage. But it turns out Mya isn’t familiar with any of the above. When I find out she’s never taken a trip to O-town, we make a little wager. Not only will I win the client, but I’ll prove to her that multiple O’s are not a myth.

We work together all day and fight between the sheets all night. But somewhere along the way I discover that winning isn’t enough.

I don’t just want to win.
I don’t just want her body.
I want her to … beg me.

BEG ME is a standalone romantic comedy that will make you look at inter-office relations in a whole new way!

I absolutely love this book. I read this book a while ago when M. Malone first published it and I enjoyed it, but the updated version of this book is spectacular!! I laughed so hard during certain scenes of this book that I cried. Beg Me is such a fun and enjoyable read about two characters who totally meant to be together. Milo and Mya are absolutely perfect together. Not only are they sexy, but they are absolutely hysterical with strong doses of sarcasm mixed in! If you want to read a book that is just fun, enjoyable, and romantic...well, BEG ME is that book!!

Maybe I'm the problem because when I try to read lighthearted romance to distract myself from the stress of the holidays, I get even more stressed thinking how unfunny and unlikely things happening here are.

I received a copy of this book to review from the author/publisher.

Oh my goodness I can not remember the last time I have laughed so hard reading a book. I really had fun reading this book. If ever two characters belong together it is Milo and Mya. I don't want to say to much about this book because I went in blind and loved it that way. Sometimes I love a book to surprise me and this one sure did in spade. You will be rolling but I do remember a tear or two at at time or two. I swear M. Malone is becoming one of my favorite authors to read. If your looking for a break from the normal romance and need a bit of laughter in your life you do not want to miss this book. The banter between these two characters is simply amazing.

Am I the only one who is going to write that this book was not hilarious like everyone else did?? I have read some other reviews and have questioned my sense of humour. There we no laugh out loud moments, not even a chuckle. The storyline was predictable and I seem to be the only one who picked up on the discrepancies in this book...there were a few "hang on a minute" moments where I had to flick back and double check that I wasn't reading wrong. If you want a quick read of a carbon copy storyline of other books out there then this is for you.

I love a good comedy read ...This was a hilarious read ... I've seen many books by M. Malone not read one so far ...this is my 1st I think? Gotta check to be sure ... love the humor ... the idea ... had a clue where she would take the book ... such a fun hilarious read ... took me less than a day to read ... but I did stretch a bit 'cause I could not sit down for that long ... had a live to lead ... wish we could just read all the time ... but life calls ... a fun get away and I loved her style of writing. Must read. I can't wait to see what else I can find to read by this author. Loved it!! ( ;

"I received a complimentary copy of this book and have volunteered to leave a review."

Don't judge it before you see it working! Don't make fun of it because you might going to beg of it in the process. M. Malone's new book is a fresh aura to rom-com stories with hilarious 'private' tête-à-têtes and a couple to fell in love with hard.

He is a womaniser. He is a pleaser. He is the delivery man of multiple Os. Until he wasn't anymore. Milo's storyline begins with him working his talent in a bar's bathroom. Well, kind of! Unfortunately, his 'doodle' can't work his way up...again. The reason is that his mind is to someone else. His co-worker Mya. While the feelings are mutual, are also complicated. As the story unfolds, Milo and Mya are in front of a challenge at work. They need to cooperate for a new advertising account which is going to take one of them closer to the partnership field. Strong feels, sizzling hot moments, too many suspicions and a secret ready to take them down. From here M. Malone do her magic. And the end comes with a double HEA...just to keep things simple and interesting!. You'll see!!

What I like about Beg Me is how lively and real the heroes felt; From the author's way to reveal each one of them characteristics to the type of communication and dialogues they were interacted, I could connect with them. It's what I like most in M. Malone's stories after all. However, I think that Beg Me isn't her best work to date this time. Firstly, because I didn't see the title fitting even if it is very catchy. (lame reason but what can I say) Secondly, I was craving for the suspense I well-know that M. Malone always delivers. Yes, it was there but not on the same level. That's it! Despite the above reasons, the story is flawless. Fast paced, beautifully well written, charming. The most awaited sensuality is in there and off the charts...again. And OMG, the dose of humour was also off the charts. I couldn't stop laughing (soundly) which earned me many to count side-eyeing or eye-rolling from my hubs. ...What can I say! Once again, M. Malone talent shines through a story which isn't only charming but is also an addictive one.

Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

Mya and Milo may be adversaries at work but once they put that aside the chemistry that flares between them is sizzling hot! Milo always knew it would be like this if Mya would just give them a chance. Now they are working together to get an account for their agency and competing against each other by day but at night they are tearing up the sheets. When Mya thinks Milo has double crossed her everything is at risk!

Lots of steam and banter make this one a sexy fun read you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.

Malone just gave me another reason to love her. Beg Me is a side of M. Malone seldom seen, but no less enjoyable. Milo and Mya bring on the cheese, yet never scrimp on the spirit. Milo takes a hit right where it hurts. His ego. Now, Mr. Ladies Man is fighting a losing battle with his hormones and his heart. With saucy dialogue, a feisty heroine and a frustrating hero, Ms. Malone allows her sense of humor to take center stage and spice up the pages while lightening the mood.

this was not funny or cute don’t let the reviews fool you. it was extremely basic and the plot was so thin. enemies to lovers but they get together 6 chapters in?? zero chemistry and tension. as soon as they got together it became so cringe and Mya lost all her supposed no nonsense personality. I also didn’t understand the climax breaking point, it was just so silly. do women not have their own minds?

Milo & Mya💗💗

I love this story! I love reading about enemies to lovers romance. Milo is good at what he does. He's smart, good looking, funny and very charming. Milo have a crush on his friend turned enemy and is currently cramping his style as a playboy. When things go bad at work, he comes up with a plan that may not be good. Mya is a go getter. She is smart, beautiful, sassy and sweet. She is dealing with some personal issues. Mya can't stand her co worker Milo and she has the hots for him. These two are hilarious with their witty banter and sexual tension. They are also competitors at the jobs which makes it even more fun. The writing was done amazing and captivating. I devour this book in two days since it was so good. I haven't read from the authors before but I love the work on this ebook. Amazing work M. Malone and Minx Malone!

This book was funny, hot, and sweet. The characters had an established relationship for years and originally were friends but the guy had no idea why they stopped being friends. He was genuine, sincere, and despite sometimes chickening out of saying how he felt, he was actually more forthcoming than most of the men I read in these books. I don't understand the negative reviews, I mean his preDICKament, while being an opening comic point, is about his struggle with coming to terms with being vulnerable especially emotionally and wanting the girl he's been crazy about for years but having no idea how to go about it. Maybe I'm just not so uptight that I really care about whether there's another chick briefly in the beginning or not since it isn't like he had been saving his sexual prowess until he scores with the heroine, to think his dick has never been in another woman's hands is just naive lol. I do wish the story was a bit longer though!

With great intro written with free-floating, humorous language this book is regretfully not for me... instead of offering escape from reality it's some boring story about corpo-rats competing for clients with some standard sex scenes as embellishment.
There's no real action and the plot is quite predicable...

Original review: https://myshelfbooks.wordpress.com/20...

must admit that I’m an easy catch for Romance Books: a cute/hot cover, a funny blurb or, in this case, a first sentence that makes me re-read it several times in order to make sure I read it properly. Yes, almost any bait works with me. I was pretty curious about this book after reading the blurb and M. Malone is a new writer for me, so I had no idea what I was going to find. Well, I had suspicions… but I was SO wrong.

This s the story of a couple of co-workers in the advertisement campaign industry: Milo and Mya. They were once friends, but now are rivals. Very competitive rivals that dislike each other. There is a new huge customer in the future and both need to work together to nail the campaign. Even though they kind of hate each other, both of them have a secret attraction to the other. Sadly, they are only intesrested in insults when addressing each other.

First the positive about this book: Milo and Mya are great characters. I loved both of them almost since the beginning. Milo is the perfect mix of funny, cocky and sweet guy and Mya’s akwardness is so much fun to read!! I was hooked with this couple very fast, which in romance is a very good sign. There is nothing worse than reading a sex scene with a couple you dislike. So, with Milo and Mya the author gets a really good mark.

On the other hand we have the storytelling itself. I appreciate the “let’s create a funny situation no matter what” style, but I don’t think it always works. The motive for the fake engagement is so weird. I don’t think is sensible that the client was looking for some person planning a wedding or recently married to make his campaign. It’s such a huge constraint!! Besides, the campaign would be polluted with the idea of that person’s perfect wedding. Maybe I’m being a bit harsh, but I felt that situation was unbelievable.

During the book, there are more examples of lazy storytelling: the absurd misunderstanding, the messages to Will (that take us nowhere), the easy resolution of the main conflict among the main characters… But the romance part is so sweet and funny that I can forgive almost everything. A hottie in briefs cooking me breakfast is also a #boyfriendgoal for me ;).

When I read the blurb I was expecting Milo to be more of a jerk and not very nice in bed… But I couldn’t be more wrong (thankfully!!). I have enjoyed a lot this couple. Perfect balance between sweet and naughty. Yes, the story is a bit lazy, but the book has other strengths that make up for it (in my opinion, of course). I have more books by this author on my TBR list, so I hope to read her again sooner rather than later.

Milo is a whiz at work and he has the hots for Mya, his rival and she hates him. He can't get his mind off her and thoughts of her cause him to be impotent around other women. They get take a trip together to Las Vegas to meet a potential advertising client. He's big fashion house coming out with a new line. Their chemistry is over the top and things heat up in Vegas. The potential client indicates his personal interest in Mya and Milo tells him to lay off. Then they go back to their professional ways as they work on their competing proposals and continure to fight their attraction. The book was well written and the characters well developed and likeable. Milo might just be my new book boyfriend. No spoiler here, but lots of drama with an ex fiance, the client and wounds from an old girlfriend. A fun book to read that will definitely heat up your kindle. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review. Read and you'll soon learn where the title comes from.

Ad executive Milton Hamilton can't believe he can't get it up. Again. Funnily enough, Milo doesn't seem to have that problem around his beautiful rival and long-time crush Mya. Too bad Mya hates him. Ad executive Mya Taylor agrees to work together with the handsome jerk Milo while in Vegas to win a big account. Mya is stunned when Milo announces to their bridal line client that they're engaged and kisses her. Milo and Mya get to talking and things get steamy when Milo asks Mya if she's ever had an orgasm. Mya gets defensive and replies "Of course I have." But then she adds "Just not while anyone else is there." Milo tells Mya "I bet I could give it to you so good, you'd beg me for more." Mya's answer? "You wish. I'll never beg." You know what they say ... never say never. And what happens when they fly back home?

Minx Malone delivers a laugh out loud funny, drama-filled and sizzling hot enemies to lovers story that will have you hooked and leave you wanting more

There's a reason men are stereotyped as not being able to think with both heads at once, but in this case Milo's southern head is the only smart one. His heart is too guarded to let his brain take a chance on Mya, until his ruling body part makes an executive decision right in the middle of a client dinner! I won't spoil it for you, but that scene was absolutely perfect, astonishing not just Mya - as well as Milo, even though he's the perpetrator - but also everyone at the table *except* the ever-observant Wallace. It was an exquisite setting for their first kiss, and it spun the entire story from that point on.

From that jaw-dropping start, Milo (and his not-so-little friend) are completely unleashed and determined to win Mya's heart AND the client's account. Mya and Milo are terrific characters, and their banter is off-the-charts hot and hilarious. This is a no-holds-barred rom-com with pitch-perfect timing and an abundance of heart. I loved every bit of this non-stop read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is one author that I enjoy reading because of the characters and storyline that she creates. That being said, this one was a little too predictable. Mya and Milo work for the same advertising company when a designer comes looking for a new agency to handle the business. Mya and Milo will do anything to gain this business for their agency but there is a snag in the ointment as the new line is for wedding attire. What does this mean for Mya and Milo? They have to pretend to be engaged to each other. The problem is they are rivals and do not like each other too much. However, their chemistry is off the charts. Can they put aside their differences to win the campaign? This is an entertaining read and delves into what makes a relationship work for people already involved or for those looking for one.
I volunteered to read a copy of this book and the opinions are my own.

What a fun story! I know I should talk about the writing or the scenes, but I needed a fun story and this fit the bill! Two competitive people and you expect that the guy is going to be an alpha male and she’s going to be a strong woman. I knew all that and just got right to the story beyond that.

The characters might have been a little bit out there, but it doesn’t matter. It is a story about how a guy fell for the girl a long time ago and he finally gave in to the fact that she was the one. The girl on the other hand, had been burned once too many times and wasn’t looking for or needing a long term relationship. And not with a coworker either!

But life never hands you just what you want when you want it. So you make do and these two definitely did that and we got a the HEA we were looking for all along!

I received an ARC from the author for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for this review.

Their banter is the ultimate foreplay. Mya and Milo may not be friends at work, but the two of them shares the kind of chemistry that could ignite the room. Milo didn’t know what happened while Mya suddenly hated him, and Mya was sure that Milo did what she thought he did. Nevertheless when a chance to work together came up for the agency, they have to put aside they differences and try to work together peacefully. A truce. But Milo saw a chance.

And soon, their chemistry exploded and they ended up in between the sheets. Yay. Then, just as when everything is progressing, something happened again. Mya thinks Milo betrayed her. Will Milo ever redeem himself?

Beg Me was fun (especially the banter), love both characters: a strong female lead and a charming male and not to mention steamy. It’s the perfect combination!

ARC given in exchange of an honest review

So this was a book I read/skimmed during my blergh blitz so ... :X I'm not entirely sure when I read it so I'm guestimating.
I really ... do not care for enemies to lovers.
And ... O B V I O U S L Y this one isn't so much as like "I don't like you because I don't like you" but you know that's not as easy to market so 🙄

I don't really consider this a spoiler so ... the hero has actually been in love with the heroine since he met her.

The roommate iirc is super crazy - although I think she (kinda) finds a guy? ... The tattoo artist? [I read a bunch of books so they blur... ]

It was kinda cute how clueless the heroine was about the (designer) - the whole fake "we're engaged" thing ... her dancing in the bar.
It was cute as a skim but since I DID skim so much and since I am not 100% I'm not "rating" or "grading" this one.

Fun spicy read

Enjoyed the cast of characters. Milo and Mya are both competitors and secret crushes... once they were friends, until Milo misunderstood her intent and went after an account he thought she was pointing out for him to take. Ahhhh... the wounds of misunderstandings.

Lots of humor and the occasional expression of vulnerability. We come to find out that Milo might be a really decent guy... Mya's OTT roommate will be compelled to think so.
, and even the potential client who's interested in Mya suspects it as well.

Easy to read. The ending, however, took a lot of the punch out of the story for me. I'm literally changing my rating as it finishes. Too "contemporary" in its disregard for marriage to land well, because you either mean for a permanent coupling or you don't. And I'm not sure what the point was there.
