Origin of vampires

This story was great - action packed, fast paced, second chance at love romance, time travel, and paranormal to boot. This tells the story of how the original vampire was created, at least in C.C. Wood's universe.

The main characters, Ava and Ewan, were wonderful and I love all the secondary characters as well and cannot wait for them to get their own stories. We get to see Kerry and Fin from the Bitten series. We didn't get to see Chloe and Ian from the first book, but hopefully they will reappear later in the series. I'm hoping the next book will be about Harrison, who is an alpha wolf shifter, and Arien, who is also a shapeshifter(cat) , but different.

This book was a perfect read for me, it had absolutely everything I adore in a paranormal romance.
It was so damn good!

- Amazing writing and author's voice √
- Engaging kick-ass, strong, intelligent, compelling characters √
- Fantastic story-line. (I LOVED C.C. Wood's Vampire Origins story! )
- Funny, smart bantering between characters √
- Smoking-hot chemistry between the protagonists √

C.C. Wood is one of my favorite author's, and she's outdone herself with this story.
She did a beautiful job of writing a unique and creative origin of vampires which she originally wrote as a novella Destined by Blood: Bitten Origins and has been included as a "Part One" of this book.

The main characters (Aveta and Alaunus) are now part of my collection (yes, I have a collection) of favorite couples.

I loved their history

 photo Forevermore_Teaser1.jpg

the trials and tribulations they had to go through to meet, and their journey to discover who they truly were.

 photo Forevermore_Teaser2.jpg

If you've never read anything by C.C. Wood, I strongly encourage you to give this author a go.
She's an extremely talented story-teller.

Read this book!

4.25 stars. This was a really good book! This book will be hard to review without giving away the story so I can't say too much. Just know, this is Ava and Macgrath's story. Ava is a powerful witch and Macgrath is a vampire and former sidekick of the evil Rhiannon. The two have been dancing around each other in the other books in this series and, finally, their attraction and mysterious connection comes to a head.

I have really enjoyed this fun paranormal series! The ongoing series arc and the individual couples stories are so intricate, detailed and interesting! There is so much action, adventure, suspense, humor, emotion, and love woven together perfectly. I loved Ava and Macgrath. There was no doubt that they were true soul mates. They had an epic love story surpassing worlds and time. I definitely felt their love and connection. It did take them until 80% to actually get together physically for sexy times and I didn't even care one bit. I was so engrossed in the story that it didn't matter, which is unusual for me because I don't really love a slow burn. I loved catching up with the other characters from the series. I am intrigued to go back and read Kerry and Finn's story as well (Bewitched, Bothered and Bitten from a previous series). There is so much potential for more stories set in this world with all of the new characters introduced. I can't wait for more from Ms. Wood and this exciting PNR series!

I didn't know what to expect going into Forevermore. I was very much intrigued by the blurb but wasn't sure what I was getting myself into seeing as the author was new to me. Lo and behold I was hooked from the beginning. It was such an interesting and intriguing concept of something that I'd been reading for years but hadn't been told quite like this. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author.

When I started reading the “Bitten” series, I was hooked. I couldn’t read them fast enough. When the final one concluded I was so sad. I wanted MORE! Then I happily discovered the continuation in the “Blood and Bone” series. Lach and Chloe, Rhys and Savannah, and now Ava and Macgrath.
Ava and Macgraths tale is one two millennia in the making. They are inexplicably drawn to each other without understanding why. Haunting each other’s dreams and facing magic both evil and good, they find out that true love does last....forevermore.

God, i love this series so much! The build up, the anticipation, basically everything kept me reading page after page and left me wanting to pick it straight back up after i had to put it down.

Paranormal is one of my favourite genres and this really does not disappoint. The revelations were gasp worthy, your heart soared and I was left on the edge of my seat.

I cannot wait for the next one!

Omg omg omg......this book, y'all. <---Had to get the excitement out really quick, now on to a hopefully coherent review.

As you could guess by my blathering above, I loved this book. I've loved this entire series to be honest. If you've read all of the Bitten series and all the previous Blood & Bone books, the first half of this book may seem familiar as it's been published before. For those that have not, (I'm wondering why you haven't, but I digress) it's a wonderful backstory that ties perfectly into the second half and gives you such an understanding of our 3 main characters.

We get back Finn, Kerry, Savannah and Rhys too which is awesome. We meet new characters in Satchel (for those that read the earlier books, put a pin in that thought cuz it'll make more sense when you finish the book), Marcus and Callum. I really hope we see some books in the future for Harrison, Marcus, Satchel, and Callum.

The end threw several plot twists at the reader but where many authors might stumble, this author keeps each of those balls juggling and handles each to its conclusion in a way that allows for more, whilst still tying up all the threads of this book and it not being jumbled.

I love this book, this series, it's predecessor series, and this author. I hope to read more from her soon.

This book was PERFECTION. If more paranormal books were written this well I would be devouring each and everyone of them. Ava and MacGrath’s story had so many layers to it, each time a layer was peeled I became more invested. The combination between fated love, magical moments, and discovering how the past connects with the future made this story more amazing than I hoped for and maybe my favorite of the Blood and Bone Series!

I loved the cast of characters, I loved that the book felt modern with a twist of old time charm. I loved the way the story kept your adrenaline pumping, and I loved how the touch of heat between the characters gave that final element of the book that made this one a #MustRead. I honestly can not say enough about how much I loved this series, this book!

I'm glad that this book included Destined by Blood: Bitten Origins because it gave all of the back story for Ava and Macgrath (although we don't know it's them).

When we first meet Macgrath he is acting as the vampire henchman to the evil witch Rhiannon. As this book unfolds the truth behind Macgrath's actions becomes clear. After waking up alone, two thousand years ago, with no memories of himself or his life, Macgrath has searched for answers. When Rhiannon appeared claiming to have them he went along with her even though he didn't agree with her methods. But as much as he despises his association with Rhiannon, she did bring him to Ava.

Ava has also struggled to find her place. Cursed with no memories but with power beyond what anyone else comprehends she's always been alone in this world. When Macgrath comes into her life something feels different but Ava fights what her heart is trying to tell her. The magic between these two is powerful but will it be strong enough to break the curse that has bound them for centuries?

Forevermore is the conclusion in the Destined by Blood story. I highly recommend you read the previous two books to get the full story.

I don't want to give too much away, but I loved the story of the two main protagonists (especially alpha vampire Macgrath) and how they find their way to each other. The chemistry those two have is off the charts, but of course they are chosen mates even if only one of them knows it. I loved the side characters, who were featured in the previous books. Fans of the author's Bitten series will even get a treat as some of those characters show up to help in the final battle of the Big Bad. I felt this was the perfect ending to the Destined by Blood story. There were also a couple of new characters introduced that I hope get their own books too. (hint, hint, if the author is reading this)

As an avid reader and veteran of many books in the paranormal genre, I love how author C.C. Wood was able to come up with origins that I've never heard before, that make perfect sense. I love the originality to the story!

I was very generously provided an advanced reading copy in exchange for an honest review.

Forevermore, is the third book in the Blood and Bone series by C.C. Wood. It is the story of Ava Amaris, a powerful witch who cannot remember her past. But somehow she has managed to make a life for herself. Ewan Macgrath, has no recollection of his past either. He has spent decades trying to figure out who he is and where he came from. When Ava and Macgrath cross pass there is familiarity between the two. And with each encounter the attraction for one another is becoming harder to ignore. But before they can figure out what is between them they must defeat a powerful witch who is threatening their lives and those they love.

In Forevermore, C.C. Wood has brought two powerful characters closure. Their story was beautifully written. It has love, forgiveness and a HEA. What I liked about this book is the cameos from previous characters. They added enough support to the plot without taking too much attention from Ava and Macgrath. This series is a definitely recommend to all paranormal readers.

Ava Amaris is a witch and Ewan Macgrath is a vampire with a bizarre similarity - they both woke up one day cursed with no idea who they were and where they came from. Both have done their best to make a life for themselves. They have to join forces to defeat a powerful witch who appears to know everything about them (including who they were) and is determined to destroy them and take their powers. They also seem to be connected, Ewan feels that Ava is his mate, and they need to work together to remove their curse - even though there is a risk if they go too fast it could destroy them.

Wow - there was just so much drama and excitement in this story. I couldn't put it down, read far too late into the night and found myself reading faster and faster as I was dying to know what happened next. Well written and I could put myself into their places and feel all their thoughts and emotions. Great story and delightful characters that I could get behind and root for.

Overall: 5/5
Naughty Factor: 3/5
POV: Dual/1st person

This was just as epic as I hoped! Ava and MacGrath’s story was filled with longing, a bit of suspense and plenty of magical moments. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the previous books to maximize your enjoyment.

Forevermore is told in two parts where I experienced one of the most epic love stories I have read thus far. An origin story as well as a present day mysterious and suspenseful tale of love and the evil that works to keep them apart- Ava and MacGrath’s connection was intense and undeniable. No matter how annoyed Ava was at MacGrath’s incessant need to watch over and protect her, she couldn’t deny the pull she felt toward him.

With the help of their friends and their collective abilities, they band together against one of the greatest evils they’ve ever faced. And I was GLUED to each and every page.

With strong, independent females and sexy, protective alpha males, CC Wood delivers an amazing and unforgettable story in each installment of the Blood & Bone series.

Ava and Macgrath's story was exciting and great. They both don't know their pasts yet are pulled together. I loved seeing all the characters come back. It was great to see Ava and Macgrath try to find a way beyond their past and to see them in their battle against Rhiannon.

Forevermore by C.C. Wood a five-star read that will leave you breathless. This is the third book in the Blood and Bone series and they can be read as stand-alone but I’ve read them as a series and loved them as such. This author was new to me till I got this book and then went back and picked the 1st two up, and I’m sure I will be picking more up by this author as her writing is full of passion and drama and she writes characters that even though they may not know themselves we as readers are able to get to know them and feel them. The roller-coaster of emotions you will feel reading Ava and Macgraths story, the magic and passion they share will drag you in and you will feel like you are part of the curse with them. Thank you C.C. Wood for writing a compelling and fulfilling read.

I am a big fan of C.C. Wood, especially her paranormal books. Forevermore picks up where Destined By Blood left off, no worries if you haven't read the novella because it is included in this book. I was so into this story. Ava and Macgrath have gone from being on opposite sides to fighting together all the while attempting to deny the pull they have over one another.

I LOVED their story. It was intense and action-packed. You could feel the emotion pouring from these two the whole way through. Now can we talk about C.C. Wood's amazing ability to craft these crazy paranormal worlds that encompass multiple generations and several different types of paranormal beings.

If you are a fan of paranormal romances than this is not one to be missed. C.C. Wood has not put out a paranormal that I have not loved. Highly recommend.

Carla's Five Star Review

Forevermore is book three in the Blood & Bone series, and it is Ava and Macgrath's story.

Ava is an extremely powerful witch with no memories of the past. She longs to find her place in the world, and, at times, she really struggles with this. Then there is Macgrath. He is a centuries old vampire who, much like Ava, is seeking answers regarding his past. When these two meet, their connection is instantaneous. Their bond along with the magic they share is truly a formidable force. The question is whether or not their combined powers are enough to break the curse that has bound them for centuries.

What an awesome book/series! Forevermore is a story of fated love filled with magic and suspense. The need to discover how the past is linked with the future will leave you turning page after page!

Forevermore is a magical story that proves love can conquer all.

I really enjoyed this story. I'm a fan of C.C. Wood and was excited to read. Ava and Macgrath were great characters with an even greater backstory.

Ava didn't know who she was, but she did know she was gifted. She was a powerful witch that had a hard time trusting. She doesn't want to let down her walls because that could lead to heartbreak. In walks Macgrath and she is having second ch other in? Can Mthoughts.
Macgrath is a strong vampire. He would do anything to know his past, but isn't finding any answers. He too isnt one to have long lasting relationships, but something is different with Ava.

They have a connection that they can sense every time they are around each other. Will they be willing to move on even if they never learn the truth?

This story!!! Macgrath!!! This answered SO many questions that I had about how this whole world of supernatural creatures came to be. Not that I had tons of questions but as I read, more came up but all were answered.

You don’t need to read the other books necessarily in the series, but it helps you to learn who all these characters are. Plus, if you liked the Bitten series, there’s some familiar characters 😉.

Let’s talk a little bit about Macgrath. He appeared in Savannah and Rhys’ story but he sticks around for this one. And you find out why (I’m not telling!). But suffice to say, he’s definitely swoon-worthy! And Ava is a crackup. Trying to convince her body that she doesn’t find him hot. Ha! Good luck with that!

I can’t decide if I want more or just to be happy with this ending. I love this world that C.C. has created.

I loved everything about this book! It is a well-written, sensual, action packed, suspenseful, paranormal read. It also picks up where Savannah and Rhys story ended and brings Kerry and Finn in to share their knowledge and help keep everyone safe.
Ava is a witch who has lived centuries not knowing how she came to be. McGrath is a vampire who has also lived centuries not knowing his past. Both cursed but not knowing why. The two are drawn to each other and decide to become allies to fight against their mutual enemy. In doing so, they just might break the curse spelled centuries ago and get revenge in the process.
This book pulls you in from page one and doesn't let go until the very end. I highly recommend it! 5 stars all the way!

Forevermore is my FAVORITE in the series!! I could not put this book down and believe me I tried. I had (and still have) a ton of things to do however this book was too good to put down. I had to know the next thing that happened. Ava and Macgrath's love story comes full circle in Forevermore and it's quite a roller coaster ride. I love this book, their story, and their new beginning. I'm hoping there will be more in the series as I'm completely emotionally infested now. Big time infested. FAB book!!
I read an arc and willingly posted my review.
Forevermore is set to release March 14, 2018 and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. I suggest reading this series in order to fully appreciate each story as the series continues. The series starts with Blood & Bone.

This is right up there as a favorite of mine from this author. There was plenty of action and magic, unexpected twist the kind of stuff that has you spinning. Finding love and having it go puff is hard on anyone. In this case everything is compounded. An emotional battlefield erupts in the characters and you as you consume their story and share in their pain. There is so much that happens worth talking about but that would mean spoilers. Suffice it to say this author has provided us with another awesome read and one to address over and over.

n Forevermore many unanswered questions are answered. So many long buried memories and other fantastic things come to light. I adore C.C. Wood’s witches and vampires and in Forevermore she doesn’t disappoint. The pull between Ava and Ewan is undeniable but can they both over come the past? So many fan favorites make an appearance and some new characters that I want to learn more about. Many come together to fight the centuries old evil witch Rhiannon who seems to stay one step ahead. Can she be bested? It’s hard to not say too much without giving the plot away. There is plenty of passion, angst, and fantastic magical scenes on this book. I’m hoping for more from these characters

Omg omg omg....I absolutely fell in LOVE with Ava and Macgrath’s story. A story of love and heartache because of a curse. The way CC Wood wove these characters into the story was truly a blessing with all the twist and turns in the story to just make it that much better. To see the return of some of my favorite characters like Finn and Kerry was outstanding as well. CC please tell me Callum and Marcus will be getting their happily ever after too. I would recommend this amazing book and author to anyone and everyone.

There were so many things about this book that made me fall in love with this series again. Firstly, Ava and Macgrath. Her initial dislike of him made the story for me. Why? Because it meant that they would have to fight and struggle in order to be together, which makes any relationship strong. In their case it worked perfectly.
I suspected a few things about the couple, but didn’t see the other twist and turns. By the end of the story I wanted more. I really enjoyed the side character Harrison and am looking forward to seeing more on him and hopefully another character. Really awesome read!

This story answered several questions I had from the previous book...including Satchel haha. However, now I have more questions. While each of these books feature a different couple I do think it's important to read them in order. And it may be even more helpful to read the original series to understand this world. Ava and McGrath were great characters and I did enjoy this story but overall I found myself getting frustrated with questions being unanswered.

This is the third in the series, and this is my favorite by far.
I just loved Ava and Macgraths story... and so glad that they found their way to each other, after both being cursed by Rihannon. their worst enemy.
I find it hard to say too much without giving the story away... but know that there is danger that they face, and have to find the past at the same time.
A very good story, I recommend the series to all.

This was fantastic read. Ava and Macgrath story was well written. We meet new character as well as see old ones. We laugh, we cry and we get sad at times but it is worth it.
