Nottie Thompson has been the Assistant to Advisor Nehemiah Smedley for less than a year, and already she’s feeling the pressure of her position. Now, on top of answering letters and attending international conferences, she has to join the palace guard. At least Dev is supposed to join with her, if he ever finds a spare second between his romance with Fritz Engel and organizing Kingston’s annual Midsummer Parade. And on top of everything else, Pickett Randolph is starting to need an assistant too, someone Nottie may have to work with for the rest of her life.
Ms. Mitchell lives in Seattle, Washington, where she spends her days sewing and her nights reading and writing until far past bedtime. Nottie's Potential is her first published work, but look for more adventures from Ampany in the future. For further information and more from Ampany, please visit Kingston Palace Library
Midsummer is a delightful and suspenseful conclusion to the Ampany trilogy and for my money it's the best of the three. Characters we know and have grown to love must grow, change, and take on their most dire challenge yet.
