The Sweetbriar Cove Series: #1 Meant to Be #2 All for You #3 The Only One #4 I'm Yours #5 Holiday Kisses #6 No Ordinary Love #7 Wildest Dreams (July 2018) #8 This Kiss (November 2018)
“One, everything tastes better with butter. Two, life was too short for cheap whiskey. And three, good girls were off limits.”
There’s nothing better than hearing that one of your go-to authors has a surprise book release. For me, the Sweetbriar Cove Series is just like coming home. The story-lines are sweet and satisfying. The characters are easy to connect with and they make you feel like you’ve known them forever….
Wildest Dreams follows the story of Declan and Paige. Paige is tired of her boring, plain life. She’s ready for change. She no longer wants to be the good girl and is ready for some adventure….Declan is an amazing chef and loves the life that he lives. As long as he abides by his three rules to life, he couldn’t be happier. That is until Paige enters the picture. Paige is everything he shouldn’t want, but can’t stay away from. She makes him yearn for a life he’s never wanted. Will Declan take a chance on a love he never saw coming or will he let fear ruin the best thing that’s ever happened to him?? There’s only one way to find out…
Wildest Dreams is the 7th book in the Briarcove Series. I do believe that you could read and enjoy it as a stand-alone novel, however if you’re new to this series be aware that there will be spoilers.
I was hooked on Paige and Declan from the very first page. These two characters intrigued me and just had me begging to learn more about them. I loved the banter between the two of them. The sparks between the two of them were instant and I couldn’t get enough of it. On the surface, Paige and Declan couldn’t be more opposite. She is the good girl who doesn’t take risks. She’s not impulsive and feels like her life is just plain boring. And then there’s Declan. He’s the total bad boy. He’s successful and a total player. Even though these two are opposites, the pull is too hard to deny. They challenge one another and bring out things in each other that they never saw coming. Just being together makes Paige and Declan envision a future they never saw coming….
The road to happily ever after for Paige and Declan wasn’t all hearts and flowers. There were some definite bumps along the way. And those bumps just made me fall harder for these two characters. Would they fight? Would they take a chance on their love? Could they live a life with so much regret? So many questions that I just couldn’t wait to find out the answers to.
Wildest Dreams is the perfect addition to the Sweetbriar Cove Series and is an excellent beach read. This book fun and entertaining with just the right amount of angst, sexiness and swoon-worthy romance. Declan and Paige’s story left with me with all the feels and butterflies in my stomach. Wildest Dreams is a terrific read to spend your day getting lost in and promises a swoon-worthy good time.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
Wildest Dreams was my first read by Melody Grace and to me, it was like a breath of fresh air. Her writing style is so descriptive and absolutely beautiful. I was immediately sucked in to this sweet and lovely story.
Paige is a hard-working fashion designer who has had a rough year due to a breakup and the death of her father. So she decides to get away for a while and head down to Cape Cod to visit with her sister Eliza. The first night there she meets the Australian playboy Declan, who is both handsome and very charming. After conversing with him a bit, Paige decides to be reckless and selfish for once in her life, kissing him passionately before walking away. He is left stunned, wondering what the hell had just happened. He had pegged her as a good girl, but I guess you just never could tell.
The chemistry between these two was immediate and oh so hot, but how could it possibly last? Paige is looking for something more serious while Declan is just looking for some fun while furthering his career as a chef. Will they somehow be able to make this work?
This was a delightful small town romance, which was nicely paced and told in a dual point of view. I loved the characters and the way their stories developed. It was dramatic, sweet and very entertaining. I am looking forward to reading more in this wonderful series.
Welcome home to Sweetbriar Cove! With every new book in this precious series, I feel overwhelmed knowing I'm coming back to characters I love and a sweet town I would dream to live in!! Wildest Dreams is the love story of Paige and Declan. One only knows how to play it safe, while the other, lives out his dreams on the edge, thriving on adventure. From the get-go, Paige and Declan are fireworks. They explode on to the page in full blinding color, and I couldn't wait to read their story!
Paige is Eliza's sister, who we met in book 6, and plays life safe. She's not a big risk taker, but this chick has BIG dreams. Watching her take a big leap of faith on herself, was just magic! And along the way to opening herself up, she attracts the eye of Declan, the hottie Australian chef that's forever the town playboy.
Declan and Paige have instant attraction. They are perfect for each other; providing a safe space to be brave while creating a home Deacon never knew he was missing. With every touch and look, their simmering chemistry starting a rolling boil that couldn't be stopped. Together, they are super fun and wickedly sexy. Paige's wit and Declan's smart mouth make their conversations hilarious and smart.
Wildest Dreams is a fantastic new addition to the Sweetbriar Cove series. Each couple is completely lovable, the towns are super charming, and I feel like I know everyone like my own community. I look forward to every book like coming home. Add Wildest Dreams to you summer beach read list, you'll love this couple!!!
Paige is having a rough go. It takes an almost near death experience (times 2) to make her realizes, she is done living the boring life and needs a change asap! So, she quits her job, opens her own business and moves down the Cape. To really spice things up, she throws caution to the wind and decides to flirt with Bad boy chef, Declan James.
Declan isn't one for relationships. He doesn't go for good girls either. So naturally Paige wouldn't be his thing. But, there is something about her he can't shake. After their first kiss, he knows that he needs to see where things can go with her. Declan has an inner conflict. He knows Paige is too good for him. She wants marriage and kids and a relationship. Those are not things he wants in the long run.
Can Paige make Declan see there is more in life that being the bad boy?
I love being back in Sweetbriar Cove, this time with Paige and Declan.
I have been a fan of Ms. Grace’s since reading Meant to Be, Book 1. There are times you just need a sweet but “hot” story with an equally hot hero and strong heroine and that’s what I always get when I start a book by Ms. Grace.
Declan and Paige were the perfect couple!! They both had their futures planned out for themselves until they met and all those plans they each had.....you guessed it.....they were sidelined.....or were they?

Declan and Paige were the perfect couple!! They both had their futures planned out for themselves until they met and all those plans they each had.....you guessed it.....they were sidelined.....or were they?
Paige is a good girl... well, woman. Thirty is mighty close for her to be a girl anymore. She has always blended into the background and lived her life without making waves. Besides her mother hounding her about finding a man and getting married, she lives a pleasant life. But what about her dreams of owning a lingerie shop? Showcasing her own designs? Could she possibly take the leap and quit her steady income job to fulfill her dream?
Declan is that playboy, woman loving chef who loves creating dishes with complex flavors. His women all are uncomplicated and superficial encounters. No complexity or commitment there! He wants to remain a "rolling stone" free to move when the urge hits him. No complications other than to pack his bag.
Our characters are two opposites attracted to each other but who know their goals in life do not match. Paige wants a family of her own, kids and white picket fence included. Declan is happy with his cooking while seeking fame as the best chef around. For him, nothing is permanent in life so why try to make anything last forever?
The Sweetbriar Cove series is an off the charts romantic journey. Unlikely characters meet in this wonderful coastal town only to find the charm of a life full of the love and warmth only that special someone can bring. It is time to slow down and smell the ocean air!
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.
I've enjoyed this series and the setting was very fitting. Small beach town makes for interesting characters. We've seen Declan around and we know his playboy ways, chef of Sage he's craved a niche. He and Paige seemed unlikely and it showed but the have chemistry in spades. When Paige moves to Sweetbriar to start her new shop, they flirt around but the attraction can't be denied.
Declan charmed his way under Paige's skin and soon the sparks turn into a flame. Paige's new lingerie designs only seduce him further. But with new career opportunities and his no strings approach getting closer is not a good idea no matter how his feelings grow.
Paige sees more to Declan as they really get closer, she knew him more than anyone else. They compliment each other well . Lots of of sizzling moments and fun ones that make them good together. It takes a risk to let go and truly feel what Paige has always wanted and Declan may have found his home.
The conflict with them being in different places in life and their dreams coming true. They need to decide whether this new relationship is worth choosing too. With the series winding down and the past couples settling down it was a great catching up. This series has been delightfully fun and laid back, romantic with it's own steam. The preview for the next book sounds interesting too.
Wildest Dreams by Melody Grace “Can one be safe and wild? 5 stars”
I think Wildest Dreams is my favorite in the Sweetbrair Cove series. I don’t know if it was because it was Declan’s story or if it was the constant theme of pushing yourself that I enjoyed but whatever it was the story did it for me. Paige is the solid one when it comes to her family. She picks up the pieces when things start to fall apart, she makes sure everyone is good and she stays in a job she’s bored with because its safe. But what happens when one day she decides she wants to do something a little wild? What happens if that little bit of wild gives her the taste of something she desperately wants? Everything for Paige is about to change, will she be able to handle it? Declan knows his bounds. He has a wonders heart and even though he loves women he knows he will never settle down. Then he meets Paige and the tides start turn. All it took was one kiss for him to start to feel stale in his old ways, then when he starts to spend time with her it all changes. But what will happen when it comes crashing down around him? Because if history proves anything its that nothing good lasts forever when it comes to women. Plot-5/5 Characters-5/5 Heat-5/5 Writing style-5/5 Overall-5/5
5 Wild Stars Review by Elizabeth Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog
Wildest Dreams by Melody Grace is one of my top five favorite reads so far this year! It has hot as fuck chemistry and ‘can I slap you’ moments.
Paige was content to spend her life adventureless until two near death experiences. The first one caused to her kiss a man she did not know and the second to uproot her life and move.
Declan is not one for relationships or staying in one place for too long. Declan is advised to stay away from Paige but we all know what happens when someone is told what to do.
Paige and Declan have so much chemistry is it frustrating at first because they beat around the bush –so to speak. When they do finally hit it off, it was wow. I won’t lie, they do get their heads up their butts for a moment but hey, once you start reading you will see why.
Honestly, I think you will fall in love with these two characters and how amazing they are. I wish their story did not end here because I would love to read more of these two.
THIS WAS MY FAVORITE !! Paige and Declan were super hot and I really enjoyed their story the most. Maybe it was his name , or accent ?? I don't know but it was a great story. We met Paige when Eliza came into the series and she was kind of blah but I knew she would end up with a story. Living and working in Boston as a fashion designer for a company Paige has always played it safe on the outside. She has a steamy secret and you would never guess it from getting to know her. When she makes another visit to the Cove she is challenged by the one and only Declan !! He is the hot bad boy chef we have been wanting more of !! Not only does she accept his challenge but she drives it home. The only issue is that in doing so she has done the one thing neither wanted , she fell for the playboy... Declan may not want to admit it but he fell too. The only way he can think to protect himself and Paige is to mess up and be the typical jerk. In true Melody fashion this doesn't last long and we get the happy ending we wanted. We also get a sneak peek of what comes next - which is out now because I am behind !!
What a cute story! This book reminds me of a lifetime or a Hallmark movie, which I do love. The story was well written and flowed perfectly. There are not many books that I can read in a day...but this one I could not put down.
My favorite stories are always the ones that where opposites attract and this certainly happens with these characters. Declan James is a risk taker and wants nothing more than his restaurant and women and he wants to steer clear of any kind of commitment what so ever. Paige Bennett is the total opposite, she is the farthest from a risk taker than anyone around. She has been hounded from her family about her age and a family. When she runs into Declan at a town function and those sparks come flying she is ready to do what she needs.
I have read a couple of books by Melody Grace and have come to love her writing style and have enjoyed all of them. Wildest Dreams is her seventh book in The Sweetbriar Cove Series and can be read as a standalone. I for one am looking forward to more of Melody’s books.

Loved Paige and Declan's story! Their chemistry was off the charts hot. Loved their banter. Story was flawlessly written. A great summer read.
Paige has always done what was expected of her and put her dreams on the backburner. The combination of approaching 30, dealing with the passing of her father and another broken relationship has caused her to reflect on what she really wants, and she decides she needs to take a walk on the wild side.
Declan is a chef who likes his cooking complicated but his women casual and carefree. His life of no commitments and being able to take off at a moments notice has served him well in the past so if it isn’t broke, why fix it.
From their first encounter Paige believes that he is the man that can help her experience all the things she has been missing and he is intrigued by the hidden depths of the woman who appears to want commitment and routine but is yearning for more. Together they will discover what they really want from life but what if it is each other?
This is a heartwarming and romantic story of opposites attracting and it is great to catch up with those we know and love from Sweetbriar Cove. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I want to live in Sweetbriar Cove - it is an amazing place to live!
Paige has been designing children's clothes with a side business in lingerie. Her passion lies in designing these sensual under garments but fear stops her from taking the final step. By all accounts she is a good girl but so wants to step outside her comfort zone. The bad boy chef Declan is the man who can show her so much more about life and she has some tricks of her own up her sleeve.
I loved Paige and Declan - they made sense and fitted together with off the charts chemistry between them. They scorched the pages with their heat. In addition they balanced each other bringing out a different side in the other. I really love d the setting this was set in, not wanting to leave. I haven't read any of the others in this series but I slipped straight into this story and I will definitely be returning for the previous books in this series. Why have I only just discovered this awesome series?
I’m back in one of my favourite places Sweetbriar Cove and as with all of the previous books in this series I was taken to my happy place this time with Declan and Paige. This may be book 7 in the series but I do believe this could be read as a stand-alone but I would put money on once you have read one of this series you will want to read all the others. Paige needs to start her life over and after a near death experience she quits her job and takes herself off to the Cape where she decides to start her own business. Paige has always been a good girl but a meeting with bad boy chef Declan James makes her throw caution to the wind but will Declan want to tame his ways and settle down ......... They may be perfect for each other but they both have their future planned and it’s not in the same direction will one of them be prepared to give up their plans. Once again Melody Grace gives a book that captivates and draws you in and there is no stopping until you have read the final line. I didn’t realise how much I had missed the residents of Sweetbriar until I picked up Wildest Dreams.

I love this series, in this latest book we get Paige & Declan’s story... the towns playboy chef and the straight laced new girl. Paige is the cautious type all her life she’s been the good girl thinking through every decision.. that is until she shares a secret hot & steamy kiss with the one and only Declan. Months later neither of them can forget the kiss or each other and they’re drawn together by a connection that is so electric that they neither can or want to ignore! All our old favourite characters and some new ones make appearances in this wonderfully written tale of never judging a book by its cover... even the most careful, cautious people can have their wildest dreams come true when they learn to let go!! If you haven’t met the gang from Sweetbriar Cove go abd one click you won’t be disappointed.
Sweet, fun, & sexy. How do you get past your reputation? Paige is known as the "Good girl" who always plans and has things under control. Declan is known as a Playboy who is only good for a fun fling. I like that Paige is able to take a chance on her dream of having her own business. She takes a chance on Declan too. Their chemistry is off the charts. There are lots of steamy scenes without too much detail. I love Declan's food testing for his restaurant. It made me really hungry. I love Sweetbrier Cove. There are so many wonderful people. Each couple continues their wonderful stories. I can't wait to read Jenny's story. She is always there for Declan at his restaurant. She also is taking care of her niece. She deserves a happy ever after.
The only thing that slightly bothered me with this book is that there were some drastic time jumps. Otherwise, I really loved this book!
Declan is a passionate (yet perfectionist) chef and Paige is a fashion designer. They discover their chemistry very early on in their relationship. Paige wants committment, Declan wants fun and so they must come to an agreement on what this relationship can be.
Bit of a SPOILER down below... I really love these two! When Declan tries to break up with Paige, it is through his perspective so the despair (and his own stupidity) are very clear. Melody Grace really wrote in the tragedy and desparation. Maybe that sounds dramatic, but when actually read, very true. Paige and Declan have great passion and they totally compliment each other!
Declan is often times left dumbfounded, "what the **ll just happened? Declan shook his head, still dazed, and watched Paige’s silhouette disappear into the shadows." Declan is often times clumsy when receiving some surprising news, "Declan whipped his head around— and lost his grip on a sudsy dish. It shattered to the ground with a crash. Paige had moved to town . . . permanently?" Declan tries to do the right thing, "He found Paige bent double over a pile of boxes, wearing a pair of cut-off shorts and a tank top that hugged sweaty to her curves. Declan liked to think he was a gentleman, but he had to fight to tear his eyes away." I loved this book, I fell in love with Declan.
I just want to move to Sweetbriar Cove! This story follows Declan, the playboy chef & Paige, the sister who plays it safe! Declan meets Paige at a beach party and they hit it off, he makes her feel like she can throw caution to the wind and have fun, but can she really? Will he be able to keep his playboy status after encounters with Paige, he can't seem to keep her out of his head! Will she be able to play it cool with the sexy Aussie chef? Read this story and find out! Gah I got all the feels from this one! I absolutely love this series by Melody, 5 stars and you must grab this when it comes out!

Once again, it must just be the Bennett girls, that have to fall in love and break up, only to get back together... This story wasn't one of my favorites just because I don't cook and I'm not really a foodie type of person. It was an okay love story and I like the fact that she designed lingerie that was cool. The baby clothes thing was kinda weird, you wouldn't think they same person would design both with them being so different. Anyway, again the wiring was good enough for me to purchase the next story.

This small-town romance is sweet and mostly uncomplicated.
The most interesting scenes are the ones in which food is discussed. I haven’t even eaten some of what is described, and yet my mouth was watering.
This book is only one in a series of books, so you might want to read the books that come before it so that you are acquainted with all her characters, even though this is a standalone.
This book was just as good as the previous ones. Paige and Declan, the opposites that become attracted to one another. Nobody thought it was going to go anywhere including them. It's pretty much the same premise for all of the books but with each storyline it becomes refreshingly new. That's why I love this series so much. I can't believe I have to wait until November for the next book. UGH!!!
Loved this one, so much! I've loved Declan and his flirty ways since the beginning. He is funny and charming and he can cook! What's not to love?! Paige is sweet and stronger than she ever thought possible. I loved her way of experiencing new things and branching out. These two made one another better and stronger. That is always the best recipe for success. Can't wait to finish this series.
Paige was the good girl that didn't take risks, that was until one night she met Declan and stole a kiss, her whole life changed, she quit her job, moved to the Cove and run her own business, and all the time there was only one person on her mind HIM! Declan!
follow their ups and downs in this story, brilliantly written as are the rest of the books, on to the next now
This is probably my favorite couple so far is Sweetbriar Cove. Paige is the girl who doesn’t take much risk always playing it safe. Declan has that cocky playboy image that just makes you love how far he can fall. They start their romance and Paige has to learn to let go of always being in control and have some fun. These characters come so far through out the book. Can not wait for the next one.
This small town romance is so sweet and sexy and swoony! This is the seventh book in this series and I would really love to live here! Love the characters in this. Paige and Declan are complete opposites and their chemistry sizzles! Great storyline and writing! Looking forward to more in this series!
