Gorgeous temptress, Daisy Jones has the power to send men to prison for sexual relations with a minor. She is the epitome of a gold digger and raised to go after rich men by a bitter mother. She didn't warn Daisy about letting her heart get in the way of business, forcing her to fall for a southern rapper and the CEO of a multi-million dollar empire. The story begins in Atlanta, Georgia, traveling to New York City, and enters the notorious crew, the OBG s a gumbo of women hustlers, killers, and drug dealers, who have earned a reputation in the streets for being beyond terrorist. And they're connected to Daisy Jones, all of them wanting to get their "Daisy" on.

"Daisy Jones" by Mack Mama
My Thoughts....
What a read with such a surprise tragic ending to 'Daisy Jones!' This was definitely one of those stories that will keep your attention turning the pages to see what is coming next for Daisy. I am not sure just who I felt more sorrier for ...Daisy or her mother that taught her to be such a "gold digger who used men for material possessions and wealth." It is so hard to think that a mother would train her daughter to 'suppress her emotions and rely on calculation and trickery...that in the end which ultimately destroyed Daisy. The story is very on point to what has happened to many young ladies today who have been caught up in the 'fantasy of the glamorous hustling life style' that will have you believe all kinds of stuff that in the end well the only thing that is left is down fall as it was for Daisy...drugs. All that is left to say is poor Daisy who was only sixteen was young, very naive and was lead to feel like her assets of what she had going on in order to succeed was the only way however in the end it got her caught up in a mess where there was no way back. All of this only proves is that this is what can happen when there is no proper guidance as it was for Daisy.
Now, for the rest of these characters in the read I will say they were for the most part well developed, portrayed and believable giving the story quite a captivating read. I will also say that a lots of the secondary characters did get their karma in one way or another by the end of the read. 'Daisy Jones' was a excellent read that I will say will teach one a lesson only if you are willing to accept it. Would I recommend this novel? YES!
I have received this book in exchange for an honest review. I finished this book in one day and have given Daisy Jones by Mack Mama two out of five stars ⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately, this book didn’t do it for me. There were definitely more than a few naughty typos which caught my eye as well as grammatical errors, but there is another proofread to be done before this book is officially released on 1st May 2018. This story has a few trigger warnings for: drugs, sex, crime and sexual abuse. Daisy Jones is one feisty, voluptuous, confident teenager who goes through a lot of ups and downs throughout this novel. In this book you learn about Daisy’s life along with her peers, family and enemies. I found it difficult to connect with the characters although I thought they were well developed and I could keep up with which character was which. I found it very easy to read and hard to put down, mostly due to the amount of drama and sex scenes that took place in the book. Mack Mama goes into great, descriptive detail which made it very difficult to stop reading (hence why I managed to finish it in one day). The sex scenes were very graphic, so if you're not into erotica, adult genres this book would not be for you. I appreciate and respect the story that Mack Mama has written as it states in the back of the book that she has lived many parts of this book and is trying to show and teach what dangerous things the wrong path can lead people to. Unfortunately there is truth that lies behind this story to do with the "glamourised" lifestyle of hustling and I'm glad this has been made into a book to hopefully make people aware of the consequences.
*I would like to thank Prodigy Gold Books for providing me an e-ARC of Daisy Jones by Mack Mama in exchange for an honest review*
TW: LOTS OF SEX, DRUGS, CRIME, & RAPE!
WHAT I LIKED…
✔ Even though Daisy Jones was a gold digger, she always knew what she wanted. She was so confident about herself.
✔ Anjel was Daisy’s bff. She was the most honest character in this novel. Her mom died when she was so young, and was sent to foster care. She couldn’t stay in foster care anymore because she was beaten. And just when she was 14 years old, she became an “exotic dancer.”
✔ Mack Mama, as she comments at the end of the book, has lived many parts of this book, and wants to show people the consequences of doing wrong.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE…
✘ This book has 220 pages, and more than half are sex, and more sex. Warning: *The sex scenes are extremely detailed*
✘ DAISY’S MOM! Yeah, I hated her! She taught Daisy to use men for their wealth. Maybe everything that happened to Daisy was because of her mom. She just wanted Daisy to have someone in her life who’d always take care of her, she didn’t want Daisy to struggle at all.
✘ I hated the way Daisy talked, she was so proud of herself. She knew that with having a “big booty” and green eyes she would have any man she wanted. She wanted many things without giving anything in return. She wanted men to play by her rules.
OVERALL
Daisy Jones really surprised me at the end, I didn’t expect such a tragic ending. So, this is what I learned from this book…
- Using someone else will only bring you consequences. - If you are in a toxic relationship, seek help! YOU ARE NOT ALONE. - NOBODY IS WORTH YOUR LIFE, I repeat NOBODY!
Daisy Jones by Mack Mama was such an entertaining and gem ridden read. Daisy was a beautiful teenager who was schooled by her mother to use men for monetary purposes and never fall in love. Designer clothes, expensive jewelry, cash, you name it, Daisy got it from her victims without having sex with them. Uniquely, Daisy was a virgin. The author takes us into a bit of Daisy’s life, showing her friendships, surroundings, and conquests. While this was an urban, steamy read with some violence, what drew me in the most was the author’s ability to teach lessons within it. She touches on the entertainment industry and their views on women and homosexuality as well as women putting up with disrespect and abuse from men who have a high status. There is a “six degrees of separation” with the characters as they are all connected in some way or another which I feel assisted to the “twists” in the plot. Ultimately, living that fast life comes with a cost and the author shows us what price Daisy had to pay. This is the first book I read by Mack Mama but it will not be the last. This book can be enjoyed by lovers of street literature.
This book is certainly not for me. Kinda poorly written. Way to much going on to keep up and keep straight. What I gather from it was a young girl (16) was hustling rich guys for money and good without giving up sex. She perfected the art of oral sex and that was her repayment to them. She fell in love with one guy who ended up falling for someone else and all hell broke loose. Others were arrested on new plus old stuff and others were shot and killed. Wont say much else....dont want to ruin it for others.
Wow what a good read and that ending left me with my mouth wide open. Daisy Jones was something else. Book was entertaining from beginning to end. The more you read the more you want to read. Ending was sad and tragic. Great read Author Mack Mama and I can't wait to read more of this story.
This was such a powerful story. I am so glad I picked this up. I'm gonna be starting her other book Tales of an Original Bad Girl. I have 2 teen daughters and one of them is headin' down the wrong path. I am really hoping that she will read the book buy Mack Mama and learn from the story without having to go through the same life that Daisy Jones(Mack Mama) had.I think that this story could be a warning for teens thinking about gettin' involved in the life because it's not told in a preachy way and the teens can relate plus it will keep their attention. I was am excited for Mack Mama's next book MISTRESS to come out and I will buy and read them as fast as she puts them out. I'm hooked. Absolutely one of my favorite books and now that I'm a bit past the 40 mark all I do in my spare time is read. It keeps me outta trouble. LOL. Anyways this book is a must have, a real page turner, you won't be bored I promise you that!!So what ya waitin' for? Get to 1-clickin' now and you'll see what I mean.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book mainly bc it got m from the beginning and I didn't want to put it down.I had to keep reminding myself that Daisy was only 16 bc she kept getting herself into big girl trouble. She was young, naive and felt that she could use her assets to succeed in life bc thats what she learned from her mother. Sadly she lived the life that far too many young girls live today and it ended up biting her in the ass at the end. There was an inconsistency that I noticed at the end of the book but besides that I recommend it.
